MIKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude!!!!!!!!! I missed you! *sniff* I even put Clarky on yer tail cause I got no hollaback. I thought you might have gotten swallowed up by Godzilla or something! I mean, G3 has a DVD/cd come out from Japan, and our #1 favorite Japanese authority doesn't even show up for the drop day (by the way, it's an awesome DVD). Anyways, I'm so glad to see you here again *BIG hugs*. Now you must wear a cowbell around your neck so we don't lose you again. Sorry, that's the deal. Put it on ;-) Nice to see you again bro!!! Werd to the family D.

Joe: Thank you so much for answering my question. It really meant a lot. I am very thankful you did. Once a again, Thank you so much. I saw that you did and I just about woke the whole vally up. lol. Maybe not that bad but I did wake everyone in my house up.lol. So how is reacording in Vancuvor going? I hope that you are having a blast.

Today 6 months ago a I watched a very close friend of mine die. It was by far the worst day of my life. Some thing that will never go away. But today I will make this a good day. I will listen to you all day Joe and I wont think about that terribale 6th day of May. I will think about when I will meet you and the first thing I will say. I will not think about that horribale day. Thank you so much Joe for your very touching and very inspiering music. I dont think that there is any way to thank you enough. I dont know what I would do with out it. I would be crazy. Have a wonderful day. Love ya man. ALOT.

Thank you.

I cant wait to get my little paws on that new album of yours Joe. Im verryyy excited.

Hey Joe, It's been too long since we've seen you live. We were hoping that you might be doing a show on New years Eve. We are going to a Raider game earlier, (5PM). It would be the ultimate double feature if you were at the Fillmore or the Warfield. Sure would like to see you in Santa Cruz! I guess I'll have to turn promoter to make that happen. I could go on and on, but I'll finish by saying that after twenty years of listening and watching you we still stand in awe. Good luck to you for the rest of '05.

LucySorets, that's a pretty awesome looking tower there....I love the way it's decorated. Do you know whish architect designed it?

Delfino, haha, yeah man I totally hear you on being broke....it sucks, but at least you don't have to worry about being self-disciplined! haha. Wise choice my friend, on sticking with your original combination, I'm sure they'll work out really nicely!
fizz450_03, wow, thanks! I'm well pleased that you liken my track to "SRV" - EJ is my absolute favourite player, so that's a massive compliment for me! That said, no, I wasn't thinking "Mr Johnson" as I was writing Silver Rain...but having listened to it since, I had similar thoughts about it!

I use Steinberg's Cubase SX2 for all my music writing/recording activities. It's got excellent support for plugins - both audio effects and MIDI instruments - but the degree to which I use them depends on the overall vibe of the track.

With Silver Rain and The Jester I tried to use effects and stuff as little as possible. But I'm currently working on something with a whole lot of synths, strings and other MIDI stuff in it and so far it's rocking!

So yeah, I make my drum tracks by importing single audio samples of a kick drum, snare drum, hi-hat, crash cymbal and so on, and then arrange a beat out of them. Or sometimes I use a pre-recorded drum loop for a different sound (or if I'm just being lazy!) making drum tracks in Cubase is pretty easy though, but it takes a lot of time, and it takes a lot of skill, which I don't yet have, to make something that sounds really good!

Ovation1, holy cr*p, is it really you? hehe, great to see you back dude, hope everything is well!
VFR, er...much the same as what I just wrote to Mikey! haha. You got mail bro!

I like that chromed JS100....the only issue I would have is that the seller said that Joe's tech "Gary Brawer" checked it out. Is'nt Joe's guitar guy Mike Manning? That'd be enough to scare me off....nice lookin guit-fiddle though !

SuppaDave...Gary was Joe's tech back in the day...he's in the vault archives...it seems to be a nice axe...wonder how straight the neck is to achieve a 1/32" tolerance for string clearance 100's aren't typically as true as the sigs, however I was lucky...sure it plays great...just have it set up again to your liking's

Hi Lenne,

Welcome to the site, I no it meant the world to me that some1 read my first message so im here to say that i read yours.

Your english is great if a little yodaish which is cute.

Do you play guitar or are you just a fan of those who do like me?

Is there love in satchspace for a fan of guitar legends. Im searching on a new day for friends of the extremist, who attacks, slow and easy the engines of creation with a seven string devil's slide. am i the traveller going in circles on the journey singing a mountain song or am I sleepwalking on a starry night with a big bad moon up above and with only memories of seville 92 in my head? I believe I'm just in a mind storm with the crush of love in one big rush on a crushing day. Ok the chords of my life are strange!?... maybe im not of this earth....maybe I'm cryin tears in the rain for all my searching of satch fans, if I could fly to you I would, then you could just look up with hands in the air and say there is the forgotten Satch fan...... Until we say goodbye that's what breaks a heart:(

That should remind you of some wonderful satch tracks!!!!

Love and hugs Satriella xx

Does anyone knows if Joe uses a stock DS-1 Boss???

...I'm searching for a better tone for my DS-1 one, so I'm thinking in doing the Robert Keeley mods for this pedal...

...Joe's DS-1 has any mod???

He uses it as main distortion or uses as a boost to the amp??

thanks!!!!!
