Hey again there Joe...
glad to see you finally have some time to catch up on the T2J page... are you recording the whole album in Vancouver or just some songs?
tell you what!! a simple yes or no will do... no details or anything...
just type a post with either:
YES! or NO!
and that's cool by me...
ciao!

For the last time............
I said I was sorry! I did not mean anything offensive. I was asked what went on while he was away and I responded! I take no delight in being offensive, I hate it. And you said other youngsters. Cheese and Michelle said they were in their 40's. I have seen cubes site, so I know he was not young (no offense.) Would you please stop badgering me! I said I was sorry, and thats all I can do! Just leave me alone. Please.

Keniko/AussieRGman - Isn't it a Boss DS-1 that Joe uses? I recently upgraded from a Digitech RP-6 to seperate pedals and bought the DS-1. It's a great sounding pedal.
I was well chuffed when I saw a close up pic of Joes DS-1 setting in Guitar One (I think!) magazine. The sustain that I got at my next band rehearsal was great! (sorry for the rip off Joe!)
I'm still tempted to buy a whammy pedal but guess I'll have to ask Santa for that....

Joe, good to see ya again, and take heart...it's expected that you are human and not perfect....we shouldn't (and I don't) believe everything bad that people have to say about you or other stars. A lot of what is printed is just to make money and very far from the truth. We love ya Joe!! And it's raining here too, so cool!! Hope yer still enjoying that beautiful studio!! Later Joe!! :)
PS webmaster Jon.... The chat appears to be "broken"??? Is it just me and my computer, or is there something you might do to mend it? LOL!! Thanks Jon!!

I did not say that you or any other youngsters were offensive to our lovely ladies, I couldn't because I was not involved in the conversation. Pay attention, the tense of my post indicated that the occurrence was not in the recent past.
As for wanting people to stop badgering you and leave you alone, either show a little respect or simply don't enter the chat or read these posts.
At the end of the day, the only reason we are in this forum (IMHO) is because we are Joe fans. Be friendly and people will be very friendly back.
End of.
Steve.

Having half listened to your chromeboy and the lava lamp on my pute before and not been particularly impressed, I don't know why but i fished out my Bose headphones to give it another go. Well I have to say I love the tune, to me it is dark and intense and well worth a listen. You know what's coming next don't you!? Yes a slight grumble, I'm not a musician and don't pretend to be but I know what sounds good to me and your song sounds very good. However, it didn't seem quite full enough to me and the drums sound like they came from a machine. Other than that I'd be happy to part with my pennies to play your music on my machine.
Good luck and God Bless.
Keep rocking.
Steve.

I asked a guy who sells/ installs pickups about my green air norton 7 query and he said if I wanted to get two humbuckers with decent complimentary outputs then an Evo 7 in green would do it and to get another one in green I would have to choose the Blaze 7 neck pickup...do you think that would sound wicked-awesome?

This is my first post. Hello everyone, I am a rabid Joe Satriani fan, I own an Ibanez JS1200 (have had it for about a week) and am learning many of Joe's tunes like Satch Boogie, Circles, Flying in a blue dream and more.

Hi Joe!
I'ts been a long time since I wanted to tell you. Thank you for so much great music. I listen to Live in San Fran and Strange beautiful music on a daily basis. It really makes my day when I go to work. or when I relax at home.
I have listened to your music since 1988. I'm from Mexico City. And it was great to have you here playing. it was a big thrill. I've had the opportunity to be at three of your performances, in 2000 at the Auditorio,at the metropolitan theater I think it was in 2002. and the last one last year in Nov with the G3.
In all of them the sound and the performances from all the band were awesome. Also thank you to all of them Stu Ham, Jeff. Eric, Bisonett and everybody else.
I play the guitar myself and I have learned a lot from your music and technics.
But the best of all is when I play some of the best pieces of your music It really makes me feel good.
I have played Crying I recorded the chords on the piano. Played them back and played the guitar over them. it sounded great.
I hope that the next time you come to Mexico I can meet you to tell you this personally.
Also my wife loves your music and my kids are getting used to it.
As a guitar player you are a 1000 light years away from me but I enjoy the bits of musisc I can play. I'm learning to play using modes.
Thank you Joe.
Hope to see you next time in Mexico.
Guillermo Romero Contreras.

I just got the new G3 DVD...is the sound, specifically the solos, on Smoke on the Water poor on your disc? Parts are ok but in general the sound is not up to previous standards.

Captain Steve...thank you for listening, and giving them a second chance...the drums are from a Triton (machine), and considering what it takes (being a drummer too) to create a great live drum sound (a great kit, mics, studio to play like a madman without the neighbors calling the cops on you) I'm very pleased with what the drums sound like...thanks again for taking the time to listen & post an honest asessment of my effort. (I'd love a Roland V set...some day...hopefully soon..still a machine though...lol)
js1200js1000...thanks man it is appreciated...back to The Chromies to practice so when I grow up (hopefully never)...I can be a great big bad gitar player from Long Island like our King...Satch

Hey Joe, great to hear your recording again - your music is what inspired me to play the guitar and i can't wait to hear more of it. Please consider touring the U.K and Ireland some time we would love to see you play - especially at the odyssey arena in Belfast.
