PhryDom - man i meant the tone controls, their supposed to be potentiometers aka variable resistors ain't they? i mean they can't be anything else... capacitor is the small thingy that stores power temporarily before releasing it again, it's in basic electricity hehe took it on the side during my junior years... so any ideas what values they are? i'm like so desperate coz my guitar's 1st and 6th strings don't sound well...

SLANSH - ya toad. Left early. You shoulda spoke to them dude. Hung around, did the normal thing starstruck fans do. I know thats not you, but you ought to have made that exception. Fekker.

We must catch up soon. I'm a bit ill right now but have some plans coming up.

Indonesia and Taiwan was great. Caught a snake, climbed up a volcano, relaxed by my villa and private pool, had a butler. All very nice. Seems so long ago. I waived to Mikey as I flew over Okinawa. I'm sure that was him in the hat.

Bye for now

Ronnie

oh - the YNGWIE ticket I need is for a girl I met. Yea - I know, another one. C'est la vie.

Joe - SLANSH has been on your site a few years now. I'd really like you to hear his CD. Mr. Vai and MacAlpine have it. Can I send one to you as well? I think I gave you a few snippets of it a couple of years ago, but the finished product is much better.

Thanks

Ronnie

fizz450_03 tone controls are, as you say, variable resistors... potentiometer = variable resistor... capacitors don't necessarily "hold power temporarily" when you're talking about guitar wiring - they roll off frequencies... maybe this will help.... it's the capacitor wired to the pot that makes it a tone control.... however if your first & sixth strings are sounding not-well then perhaps it's something else that's the problem? capacitors and stuff don't affect one or two strings - they're universal... maybe your pickups are misaligned? or maybe you need new strings? or maybe the overall response of your guitar isn't coming out of your amp?

Hi Joe,

I guess you'll neva get to read a post like mine cos of the time difference. But I'll post anyway.

Thanks so much for all you and your team do for us, not to mention all the people that you teach such as Vai of course, you've extended yourself and benefitted so many people, I love reading all the new posts in here, cos you can just feel the love of the person towards you and your music, it must be fantastic for you to read, although you must miss so many, who can keep up with 94364 fans who somtimes post a message eh! Thanks too to Rubina who has inspired you to write some crackin tunes and who puts up with you going away for days on end - she's a star :)

Big Hugs Satriella xx

Careful what you say about Mr T's work Chad. The man himself is cool but the Kook who doesn't seem to know which case he is typing in takes great exception to any perceived slight (even if none is intended). Having said that, you may be allowed an opinion because you are an axeman.

Keep rocking.

Steve.

michelle - lol... Yeah, that's me!!!

Suzie - I couldn't believe that result! I came home from the shoot when there were about five or ten minutes left, and we were 2-1 down. So, I though "Ah, well - same old story" and had sopme gurb. Then I see on the news that Owen, who I previously thought wa a bit of a retard these days, went and scored two goals in the last three minutes!!!!! Great stuff!!!!

civgeek - Real football???? You must be kididng. It's just another example of America taking something English, changing it's name, being shite at it, and then claiming it's crap anyway!!!!!!! I mean, American Football? Come on - that's just rugby for pussies who can't be bothered to use the tactics of having to pass the ball backwards!!!! All they do is dress up in their own body weight of padding so they don't break a nail or mess up their hair, then wait for some guy to run to the other end of the 'grid iron', before they throw the ball; then all that guy has to do is catch it and he's a hero. Then he does a litle dance - freakin' poser!!! Great game guys... lmao
