Zen I have finished side one of your tape. Is it the same one you sent Steat?? Who plays harp? very different from the last tape indeed. Someone mentioned you sounding like a tortured soul lol?? interesting bottleneck work and general vibe on side one.... Also, much much better recorded than the first tape you sent.... The Woodsman's blues are alive!!
DCK you swine (Porky Pig) i burnt a load of stuff for ya and ya never called me or Dan!!! Oh well next time, maybe I'll need to snail mail the stuff!!
Mari and Stevee T have a great time at the "feeding fury frenzy" lol .. Wish i could join ya!!!

Hey Zen(and other sinfonie contributors)

I know you have a huge thing goin with the T2j sinfonie I'd be interested in contributing......... If you can think of a movement that is bass related in timber and have some room Please lemme know.... I have tracks to screen at soundclick.com/waterproofsoap

I know I've listed myself as a guit. player....but I'm actually a classically trained basist.........I just have a tendency to noodle with anything that makes noise......

If the roster is full or you think its not the right fit just let me know...i have no ego to bruise!!!

Peace....John

btw...if ya want a real cello part in there somewhere i can accomodate..

Zen i just ran to my car.... There is some harp blowing over a repeating eight note riff less than 5 minutes into the "Timberland" (Side A) of the tape....

Hi Joe,

sorry, I think my english is terrible, but please let me say, that your music is my companion and my teacher through many years. My guitar is an JS 100 and what I´m learning to play, is what I hear on your CDs over all those years. I think, I´ve got all of your CDs and DVDs and it would be so great for me, when it will be possible to play with you (a little song).

I was born in 1960 in Berlin (East Germany) and so I could hear your music only since 1989, after the wall was crashing down. But I make music since 1976, learning (first) bass, later g, mh, kb by myself, without a music school, only with my Ears. Now I have a Band since so many years. We all have jobs and are playing just for fun, BUT..... we are doin it just for fun, cause it´s our hobby...

Music is simply too important too me! And so I want to say: Thank you! Cause, you gave so much of inspiration to me and I would very pleased to meet you , Satch!

All the best for you!

best regards

Peter

Mr. Satriani. I do hope that I get the chance someday, to talk to you on these boards. I'm working as hard as I can, to have the skill, and the heart you have. I do have a question though, and I will be patient until you have time to answer me. How do you aquire that screaming sound by putting your left hand horizontal to the bottom of the neck, and your left hand on the wammy bar, kinda like the sound in "Circles" at the end of the distortion part. I would really like to learn how to do that!
