Hello satriani , First of all just wanted to say thank you for such beautiful and inspiring music that leaves all of us in aw..... I do have a big favor to ask, my best friend is going to have a Birthday on Dec.10 2005 and it might be his last cause he has lung cancer so wer'e trying to make it as memorable as possible, i know you are a very busy man but you're like his favorite, he also plays the guitar, sings, and writes his own songs thanks to your music thats what keeps him going. His wish is to play on stage before he leaves us and to meet one of his favorite guitar players which is you, I know it may be impossible for him to meet you personally but even to receive a birthday card or something from you would be a great honor. thank you sincerly lucious hope to hear from you soon!!!!!!!!!!! please and thank you.

Hi Joe,
You make us all rich, musically speaking, your albums are pure gold!
962 - Venus Isle - I 'll get it OK! your powers of pursuation are too strong...can't resist any longer...I am under your influence...must buy Venus Isle...must buy Venus Isle. Thanks so much for your generosity...I take it the question was too much for you?
Captain Steve - Led Zep (Immigrant song) A classic. - Have you seen Jack Black pleading for that song to be used in School of Rock, ahh I love that film, classic album and tunes in it..funny too.. I might have to go and watch it again now
peaceandguitars - thank you soooo much...I've had such a pants day (that means rubbish, horrible, pain in the butt) at work and its all thanks to you....4.........8.......15.......16......23.........42......... but you'd better beware, my real name is Claire and my child has special powers.....teenagerism!!!! Be afraid, be very afraid!!!!!
Master Yoda - patient am I........but your competitors, how many are ?
Michelle - young am I! oh sorry still in Yoda speak, let me translate Thirties are a great age to be, not in the least bit old...still got loads of energy but without the spots...fantastic...luvin it!!
Zenfish - There is way too much to the story of rock to ever get round to all of it, it's such a broad spectrum that is ever expanding and much of it is unheard of too!!!
Hugs Satriella xx

js1200js1000 - I've got a cardboard box on wheels, with added rust and no heater, just right for the winter weather. also featuring 4 worn wheels a half working rear screen heater and a capput windscreen wiper. Not forgeting the broken viser, broken chair winder and a great screeching sound under the bonnet that makes it sound like your doing 100 round every corner....anyone want to pimp my ride?
CARS EH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The XCP Fiasco
Yup, my copy of G3 Live in Tokyo has effectively crippled my computer's DVD and CD-ROMs and the good people at SONY/BMG have yet to release the "fix" for it. They gave me two options, 1. Wait for their "fix" or 2. Reload Windows.
Hope you have some input at the record company to let them know just how angry those of us who have had our computers effectively hijacked. They have basically admitted their guilt by recalling all CDs with XCP programs on them and I'll be sending G3 Live In Tokyo back to them via UPS Monday.
Basically, my computer is being held hostage as viewing DVDs and burning CDs is all a part of my livelihood which I can no longer do because of the program on the G3 CD. Please kind sir, pass this along to your reps at SONY/BMG and insist that they publish this "fix" ASAP. Thanks a million!

BAHDUH- unfortunately, the pupils I work with are mostly destined for lives requiring 24 hr care and therapy and residentialsettings. So sometimes although the kids I work with are fantastic characters, their home lives are so crap that it's hard not to get angry at the social services and authorities for doing virtually nothing. That's what I hate about teaching. Not being allowed to actually do the thing I was trained for -i.e. actually teach....!
ZENFISH- Thankyou so much for your info regarding EVH... I found it all very interesting- I am not sure why but I just love EddieVH's style, he has such an original sound. I would say he is a very under-rated guitarist most definitely!
I will get those albums you suggested very soon!
Thanks again

Hey It's me again, and I have yet another question for all the competent Guitar Players here... As I was looking over some tablature the other night, my eyes came across a notation known as a "Ghost Note." Does anyone know what this is? any help would be VERY much appreciated. It sounds freakin' Awesome!

Zen: Is it Billy the kid or rebel without a pause, i have trouble enjoying this form of guitar playing, no sense of restraint with common modal concepts=boring
On pessimism, very hard to be optimistic at times i agree, 2 many critics & armchair experts with their opinions & jealous unlived knowledge telling you what is & what is not, really gets up my crawl.Hard enough trying to survive as a session musician without others robbing you of whatever dignity you have left at the end of the day, play like this, play like that, hire this amp & that guitar, i want you to play/sound bad etc etc oh to be wanted to play a session where someone wants you to be you, music prostitution has nothing to do with art, just money, the plus side is it makes you a better player, the minus, your conscience weighs heavy. As for art itself, its no longer a fight for me, i went back to the day job instead of suckin the dark ones dork t make a living

Satriella - There's around forty bands that have entered, I think. The only other band in there that I've actually heard of is called Pennyblack, and they suck big time. Everyone I've spoken to that's seen all the videos has said we own them all, which is nice!!!!!
