OCPS470, haha, that's a great example man! And that is exactly the sort of thing that I just find great about him. At the clinic I went to, when he said he was going to finish off playing a medley of Sazbbath, Zeppelin and The Spice Girls, I thought he was joking, but he proceeded to do it (and very well I might add). He's absolutely hilarious. People bitch and whine about his stupid lyrics to his songs on his solo albums, but I think they're great!
ovation1, yeah both Pablo and Andy Timmons have great Beatles voices. I particularly like Paul's Spaceship One album for his vocals.....Mr Spock and Boku No Atama are both beautiful songs, even if they are stupid!
mthead, haha, yeah I think you may have mentioned "some of the cutest gals around".....sounds great, I'm there! haha.

Michelle:Well that was a quick month.I,m on what some call the fast track again.I finish the job in 2 days what some thought would take a month....A Month for stripping a kitchen & Bathroom down to the bone!, slowly i,m becoming notorious for "get the scottish nutcase" lmao.
Ovation 1:There was a period in my life i spent 3 months with a friend practicing 15 & sometimes more hours Holdsworth,Gambale & Mr Shawn Lane. What really got me was his attention to detail, the things overlooked by what is fast coming to be known as "shredding part 2".What i learnt was this
1:If you attempt this, its going to hurt
2:Seek medical advice before embarking on that train "I,m deadly serious"
3:After the initial pain of connecting the needed neuromuscular components to attempt to play like that, it needs maintained 12/7 & will need more as the years pass
4:If you cant maintain it, it leads to depression
5:Not recommended unless you are Samurai like or of the ilk
6:Read this!!!! http://www.neuro.wustl.edu/neuromuscular/
7:Dont compete with this apparent force of small yet all, possibly Gods territory
I have no idea, but maybe thats why so many musicians pushing the boundarys with technique fall ill, its a cause for mental health issues & needs to be addressed seriously
Shredoritis LMAO

Part Due: Concepts:Technique alone is nothing, not even the ice on the cake.It benifits the ego,it gets y laid for a night etc
Zen:Or is that balance now unbalance? Fighting for life is Mr Ed, has overcome cancer, has overcome divorce.Just needs to deliver a sober show, nothing else needed
Clarky:I,m a on da hunt, wish i listened better on those sessions, ye ol X,Y cross worked a dream though, thanks for the post bro, gets me thinkin
OCPS:As yours bro, i,m on a lil mission,lol
Creative minds with a feeling for others:HENDRIX,EVH,SRV,JOE
2 are not with us but are in heart & mind, 1 is fighting to be, the other delivers so far, thats a huge responsibility for Joe for me
Power to y Joe

Ovation 1:I also understood the mind behind his work, how a man can read 6 books a day and retain the knowledge is beyond me let alone his attention to accents at mind blowing speed, i feel this in his work.A man with a memory incredible, a memory maybe 2 big.
I remember also playing a session in Finland with my ex fiddle player, the guy played roughly 1 hour 30, the tunes were max 3 mins without repeating, as you know there are a lot of tunes & how to play em & the ornamentation changes from all parts of europe! Man, honestly i sat back & thought i have no memory, lmao

Michelle, sugarbaby6928, Steve T – thanks for listening :o)
Ovation – thanks for listening, it’s good to see ya around here again bro!
Keniko – Thanks for listening. It was an interesting experience playing at the Urban Music Awards. A bit surreal at times as your walking around talking to people that are “really famous”. I was a nervous before going up on stage because it was just Sherrie, myself & my acoustic guitar up there before all the music industry types. But I didn’t flub any notes or break any strings so all is good.
Cheers, Danny K
