962: lol man on Pablo.... I know what you mean about his lyrics, lol, I think they are great too.... Simple, but well written and fun to listen to.... And with that: Check him out playing Colorado Bulldog (from his Guitars From Mars series).... Lot's of little lessons in there, lol....

....And for all you good people.... Check out what Billy Sheehan used to do with Mr. Big.... Ahhhh, talk about Steve Vai on the bass, lol!.... And I thought Billy was crazy now, lol!!.... Oh, and michelle, show this to your bass playing son :-)

....Kuul duder at the RacerX board posted these....

Zenfish: I hear ya' bud.... I know addiction also, and as long as you use tolerance, things are fine.... That is hard to do....

slanshroom: haha, lmmfao dude, lol Shredonitis!!.... Man, when I watch Shawn play that crazy sh*t, I think OUCH!.... He was truly a superhero in the true sense of the word.... The Bruce Lee of guitar baby! ;-) And yeah man, he was one smart son-of-a-B!, and I'm sure that helps explain why he was able to tackle the guitar with greatness at such a young age.... After all, he became the lead guitarist for Black Oak Arkansas at the tender age of 15!!.... What a loss, God needed him upstairs....

....lol on your session in Finland.... And the bad thing is, as we get older, we forget even more, lol!!.... Stay kuul bro!....

alexandrecaetano: No problem on Shawn buddy!!.... Thanks for the info on Gonçalo, I totally forgot about that!!!!.... I remember Clara emailing about that, and I gotta tell ya.... Gonçalo' hands move like that of Mr. Lanes!!.... BTW, I d/l a PAL decoder and was able to watch his dvd!! :-) :-) Amazing is all I can say, and I love the part where he is in the janitor uniform, lol!!.... Great stuff, I'll try to call you this week about it.... Take care Alex, you ROCK! :-)

Clarky: haha, sorry to rub it in Paul, but we just need to hook up someday and have a barbecue on the beach with unlimited coolers in the sand, and kitchen passes for a few days, lol!!....

Rock-On danny k!....

TASTEY: Will do girl!.... Michelle and Joe and little Brittany love that town! :-)

....Enjoy peeps....

dont smoke things that make u high its bad news!!

On the other hand, I found a good way to prevent a hangover.....

A few hours before you plan to get up, wake up, get some painkillers and drink some water then go back asleep, then when u wake up, NO HANGOVER... works a-ok for al.....

Good Morning Little School Girl....Sorry...I just felt like it....lol..

Good Morning Satchland.

Js1200......Yes,it's cold in Chicago. I think we only get two Seasons now. Summer and Winter. I remember when I was a kid we use to have the gradual cool down into Winter and the gradual warm up approching Spring. Global warming? Who knows?.....but I miss that.

Mthhead 101.....Thanks for your comments. Do you play guitar? It's a lot of work.....but you do this cause you love it so. I love playing guitar. Take care.

Danny K...... No prob. I'm happy for you. The hard work is paying off for you. Is it just you and Sherrie? Is there a full band? Best of luck to you.Take care.

Angelina/Dakook......How are you guys? I'd love to see the guitar pics. Please send them my way when you can. How the twins doing? Hope all is well for you guys. I'm still working on Cindy to email you Angelina. I haven't asked her yet.Sorry...my opologies. I'll talk to her tonight. Hugs and handshakes....lol.....Did you go to our site?

http://www.thebluesmavericks.com

Zen.... Should be starting on the Sinfony next week. Take care my friend.

Stevee T.....Taxi is pretty cool. When you send in your music you can pay a little extra to have your music critiqued. I did this once. All though my song wasn't considered. I did get possitive feedback form the reviewer. He basiclly said he loved the song but felt it didn't fit what they were looking for. But at least I got some Wind in my sail if you know what I mean. Take care.

Hi Joe...Hope all is well. Take care.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

Keniko - yup there is a full band :o) which consists of drums, bass, guitar, keys & vocals. You can check us out on elementworld.net. However the organizers at the awards didn't want the full band to perform. I guess to keep setup times to a minimum.

Cheers,
Danny K

Despite all of his shredionics (histrionic shredding) Shawn Lane's ultra cool version of "All Along the Watchtower" (live from the mid eighties on one of the Guitar For The Practicing Musician compilation CD's) still blows me away the most.. It is worth a listen peeps......

Specially the part that comes after the lyric line "and Shawn Lane begins to howl........"

Hello all. Saw YJM last night and I was completely blown away. The guy is just amazing. He can't be compared - he is so unique. A creator, not a follower or deviator, a true genius. I loved seeing the show and so did Alda (Girlfriend) thanks to SteveeT - THANKS.

Great seeing Mari - of course, she was getting hit on by a guy there - just not the one she wanted - lol

Hey man it,s my birthday today man heck, i thoughti was 28 man but im 29 man ,anyways man you know whats been on my mind alot lately man is water pumps for your house man In the country you have a well and a water pump either in your house or in your well man they work like dangerous man .I use to use a meyers pump man jet pump in house i rebuilt it 6 times man it was the best like it always kept up and never died when you needed it i cant believe i throught it away man.Now i use a mastercraft man from canadian tire man you see this one is a negative man my last one was a possitve man the way it pulls the water does something to the i ons in it man like a possitve which most of them are will make your brain go really tight man thats how i got this syci path cell out of my brain man ,i knew it was tsarting private scans man so i use my meyers possitive pump to tighten the brain man then i checked out a place to rent with an even higher possitive in the pump so much of1 then a littleof2 then treat with high content chlorine water and it will force the bad tumor seed rather like a tissue out i pee it out when my brains were going back to normal tightness from the chlorine man now i use a negative jet pump instead of possitive man any pump will eventually tighten your brain its, jet turbine but it takes longer with negative i just got lucky when i found the negative man they dont tell you only the manufacturer knows thats how i found out i cant believe i got rid of the war proven meyers man this one is good though man already tested seversal times man later wolf2

Ovation1, thanks for the links man, but I'm sorry.....there ain't no way I'm going to be able to check out those videos at the moment! My dial-up is so slow! haha. I will eventually have to get broadband though, and then I'll be able to see what I'm missing out on.

Yeah, Billy's playing in the Mr Big days was pretty insane, as it was when he was with David Lee Roth. Billy is always the one that impresses me most at a Vai gig!
