Anyone get the latest Musiciansfriend.com magazine? It isn't the usual MF.com magazine, this one is mainly 'gift oriented' with clothing, signature goodies, posters, pictures,etc... I was flippin' through the pages pretty quickly and ended up stopping on a certain page...All Slash stuff on the right page...left page was for Steve Vai... Had his Jem and the Bad Horsie and various Vai pictures they are selling. Nice pictures, but the prices are pretty expensive, I think, they are all $499 each! Nice pro shots though. Just letting anyone know if they've been looking for some real nice Vai photos...

----Yngwie Malmsteen....this Wednesday night....F*** yeah!

----I'm out....time to go finish figuring out 'Midnight'.

ScalesMaster....lots of good wahs out there. I've owned Dunlops and Vox wahs. Whichever you decide to buy, be sure it has an optional power supply. You'll save tons of $$ by not needing batteries, and they DO suck them dry fairly quickly. My next wah will certainly have that option, including instant on/off when my foot hits the pedal...which I'm sure the Morley models do. SD

SteveeT...would ya mind posting that tribute tune one more time so I can have a listen? thnx

Stevee T: What?! You are not going to go?! There's always people there that have extra tickets.....they were giving them away at Eric Johnson. But I understand..... just a bit disappointed tho.

Guitarmiester: Who's on the cover of Musician's friend? Green Day dude? I think I gave it to a friend without even looking at it....damn!

Yngwie tomorrow night in Philly at the TLA!! Nice small club on South Street! Oh yeah. ;-D

I had never heard of Fripp before G3-04...but since then he has been the biggest influence on me and the way I think about music.

I think the best way to sum up why he prefers to sit during a performance is "each to their own"...personally I would sit as well...but then I'm just lazy. lol, take care :-)

Satriella

Ooooh yus, first time I saw Joe in concert I met him...so it was awesome all round for me. However, I missed the prodigy concert because of saving to see T00L...they should be touring within the next 2 years *fingers crossed* and they are one of my favourite bands of all time...so I've got money in reserve for that very cause.

....Hope everyone (who observes Thanksgiving) had a great holiday!!.... Leftovers from hell is all I can say! ;-)

/\/\/\R|<: Kuul interview there with Dave, nice to see him getting more exposure.... BTW, I'm sure those slim Parker necks (and how he wears it high) help keep his tendo in check, and also, kuul pic with the Master!....

michelle: lol girl, I see you had a great time with the fam!! :-) Man, we had turkey till last night (Mon), lol, can never get enough!.... Talked to my Dad and sis (on the phone), we had a great time....

Clarkysan: lol bro, we are actually settled here, but the job is the unsettled part, so to speak.... They may move the base up to the northern part of the Island, so that would work out great, but it looks like years before they figure anything out.... You know how the Japanese are when it comes to that stuff, lol....

slanshroom: Keep up the good vibes bro, sorry the rec didnt go well, but like you said.... Experimentation.... Great reading your take on the guitar player, and btw, stay safe on the job bro, well see ya on the flipside....

Hi mari!.... Great to see you had a nice dvd experience! :-)

Zen: All the guitar music talk has made me think of something.... You've heard of Vito Bratta, right??.... Perhaps the closest thing to come since Eddie IMO.... Too bad he hurt his hand so bad that he cannot play 100%, but I heard he is coming back soon.... Check out the link: http://www.whitelionforever.com/mainframeset..... The thing I like about him so much is the restraint he uses, and the sophistication in his chordal voicings throughout his playing.... Much like \//-/.... Vito definately has that influence....

....Later peeps, gotta get ready for Christmas, lol....

Edit: My link, lol, Zen, check out the Vito Bratta Interview from the multimedia menu, and it is the first video....

WELL!! I just had a bugger of a time getting home without killing meself.....it's extremely nasty on the roads out there....snow, snow, and MORE snow...before I could leave work for home I had to clean my car off and it had about 10 inches piled up on it. Heard tell we may get another 5 inches tonight....guess that means I'll start my day with lotsa shoveling, here and at my parent's house....

Lol, Al honey, I did think that story resembled u somehow.... glad to give Keniko and Stevee T a chuckle today...as fer civgeek...I guess he doesn't appreciate being called a lady...LOL!!!

cuth yeah i love Ten too... black is beautiful... the whole star in somebody else's sky bit is a real tear-jerker...
mom i thought god was alanis morrisette.... that makes her an average guitar player and a sometimes squeaky vocalist... but one of those types who are kinda hot kinda not in a strange can't-put-your-finger-on-it kinda way...
theBob $70 down is better than $835 down in my book bro ;-) chalk it down to experience, i guess... drink one less beer per day for a couple of months and you've made your money back ;-)
satriella prodigy live is probably pretty awesome... but yes, you're right - Joe live is an experience! :-) keep saving :-)

962 - i just can't help looking at people and say wow that's a chop then i look at my stuff andsay oh fuck... i still have to find a copy of "Austin City Limits", people everywhere on the net have given it good reviews. the G3 version of "Zap" was a killer man, it single-handedly turned me into an EJ.

anyone have an idea how much a replacement neck for a strat will cost? and where can i get one?
