A T2JSINFONIE CALL:

The real prob will be of course to structure the ensemble, & to pick the elements, to determinate which ones work or no.

I look for the quality & originality of stuff. I look for a work done for the love of the Sinfonie.

So, that's weird to say, but i'm gonna to let the Sinfonie choose herself. I think that all the movements together are gonna to create their own collective movement. The Sinfonie is gonna to arise starting from a collective energy. Well, i suppose that a collective balance is comin'. The better i can do is trying to hear this balance.

Well i lent both guitars to a mate but they wouldn't pay for a new one. Not exactly the greatest friends in the world... And sadly the wait for a new guitar will be very long, At least 4 months.

So it looks like im just going to have to wait really.

Well im going to go wrap up its like -1 here and im freeeeeeezin, might move pc closer to bed lol

Plus I just saw the JS Gear bit.... question is, do I save for my dream Jem7VWH... This guitar i know quite well... Or get a JS1200 of which i have never played....

I wish lol be a few years before i can get them... besides RGT's are very nice guitars the Prestige are somewhat beautiful. Just a few PAF's on them and you'd be shocked lol laters

js1200js1000, the effect that Joe is playing with on searching is just the delay time on his delay pedal. If you keep the pedal on and play with the time setting it'll make that crazy noise....it's very cool.
Master Zed, my opinion is that you get a JS1200, or JS1000. I had a Jem7v and it was great, but then I played a JS1000 and it was better. I found the JS far more interesting and varied, and it just felt more natural. If I were getting one I'd get the JS1000 - the Candy Apple finish on the 1200 is nice, but the burnt transparent blue on the 1000 is stunning.
Satriella, I have some Dream Theater CD's I don't want. I'll send one to you if you like so you can hear what they're like - there'd be no point me trying to sell them, I already looked and I'd only get about a quid each! haha

slanshroom: hehehe, lol bro, Shure to try, Shure to fail, good one!!.... Very interesting to record the Balladeer without the pup, and beautiful guitars they are..in sound and look.... Have fun working it out bro, and before you mail the neighbors, let us know first! ;-) Stay kuul bro, and also, congrats to Tura for making her belt..oh, and "up the hoop".... I can hear Clarky's voice when you write that!!....lmao....

gotta have Joe: I own a Custom Legend Ovation and love it..... Easy to play and the closest your going to get to an electric, although some people dont like the composite/round back.... Compare many different types of acoustics and make your own choice.... Alvarez, Martin, etc....

Joe Satriani: Any tidbits you or Jon could give us on the new album's direction??....

....Later peeps, Thanksgiving week beacons....

962: Yeah I really like the sounds of the JS series its got a classic rock mixed with a punchy tone an the sound feels edgey when listening to it. Suits my playing style. I like the Jems sound but prefer the js Whats the JS neck profile like?

I did some upgrading to my strat before it broke i shaved the neck and put my RGT pickups on it etc was about to put a Lo-TRS II on it but the guitars scrwed :'(

i liked the Jem for its neck profile i did want the EVO pickups an all but would of probly put a couple of PAF pros or EMG 81/85 set on it. Altho recently i find EMG 81/85 way to sharp sounding...

I've come up with something to do while im guitarless.. before i found my love of guitars i taught myself about computers... As i will now be without a guitar for a very long time im going to take up a computer project.

I read some of Joe Satrianis posts talking about pirates....

I am going to see if i can come up with an uncrackable Audio CD... I keep on top of these issues always looking into them and play video games when times like these come up...

Starforce CD Protection is the best thing that i've ever seen UNCRACKABLE and beautiful creation in itself but denys people who buy the game to make a backup... I've damaged a few cds in my time and it hurts when you can't backup cds but alas its worth it if it stops pirates i suppose...

Musics different its hard to stop pirates. But if its possible i may be able to solve it.... I'd much rather be playing guitar but if i can create something of value it'd help artists such as Satch as well as upcoming people who lose money on these things. If the artist and corperations lose money it will result in stopping of production to a certain extent...

hope i can find something to help if i do i could post to webmaster and see if they can make use of it

zenfish glad you enjoyed.. rusty cooley is the guy that told me to check out shane gibson... i have started the bowel movement i hope you like it.. its got a brown sound to it so far..

The Pork Tornado haha perhaps shane gibson cant play the blues.. but neither can petrucci and he is still famous.. I liked shane's music its fairly original , and he does not seem to be an arrogant putz... so i will enjoy it for what it is.and not worry about the blues ot 12 bars of suckitude. just my 2 cents

Pink Tornado - Being as I get the same comments about my playing "but can you play the blues?" whether he can or not doesn't really bother me. I like players that have exceptional technique coupled with good composition. THAT combo is hard to find. BTW I might not be Albert Collins, but I do know my way around the bebop scales.
