Zen:Yeah, same thing happened to Thomas M, the lil S Vai, still, great t have that kind of technique at such an early age, it also makes you wonder what that really says for shredding if an 8 year old can pull off Paul Gilbert licks, lol

Hey Joe, I have noticed that you have a huge interest in The Silver Surfer, Back To Shalla-Bal, was no doubt inspired by the comics, and of course the art work for the Surfing With The Alien record. Do you feel a connection between the myth of the super-hero and yourself as a guitar virtuoso? Would you consider playing the surfer in a major motion picture? lol! Thanks!

I can't believe it SNOWED!! I had no idea this was coming.....just glad it's not Monday! My car doesn't like the snow so I'm not going anywhere today. How many days till spring??

Zenfish: No, I don't know about Sister Rosetta Tarp.... tell me. If SRV was alive I'd love whatever he'd play, there will always be Blues in his soul.

Keniko: My Reunion was a Blast! I was chosen "Most Eligible Bachelorette"!! Hee-hee! I had a girl come up to me & tell me how she idolized me in school because I didn't "conform" and I was so cool etc.she was going on & on.... haha I was like Wow! Then a guy that was in my speech class comes up to me & tells me how he was in awe of me...just used to stare at me with his mouth open ( I never noticed hehe ) He never had the never to talk to me but decided to finally since he had the opportunity. He was really impressed with me, now more than ever. I Never had any idea. I thought people didn't notice me, guess I was wrong. And to think I didn't feel like going .......I changed my clothes 4 or 5 times. Typical. hee-hee! I hope that wasn't a repeat...not sure if i'd posted about it or not.

Cuthbert: Thanks for the compliments! I'm glad to hear you like my work. That guy has some nice photos. I checked out Yngwie's site from your link and guess what I found? Photos by my former editor Robert Tuozzo.....(the one that never repaid the money & fired me because I reminded him there was interest) His photos are very amateurish...don't hold a candle to mine. I've seen that Wayne Dennon's site before, he has some nice work also. Next time Yngwie comes I'll have photopasses. Thanks for the offer but I have a friend working on my website, she's waiting on stuff from me to finish it up. I'll let you all know when it's up.... Oh btw I think Yngwie needs to lighten up on the eyebrow pencil......don't you? LOL

Tastey: Hi Stacey! Nice to see you. I'm sorry to hear of your marriage ending but I'm happy to hear that you are doing what's best for you. It's not easy but you will be so much happier in the long run. I wasn't married but I was with my ex for almost 10 years.....I walked away and never looked back. Best thing I ever did!! It's been 3 yrs & i'm not in the dating scene. Take your time and just focus on yourself. There will be ups & downs but it will be worth it. Hang in there Stacey. ;-) Have a great Holiday, buy yourself something nice.

Bahduh: I think Steven's address is still the same.......just that his phone is disconnected. I'll let you know.

Zenfish...not sure what the prob is....just so you know...I played a factory recorded tape in my machine just to test it for clarity..it was ok. When was the last time you demagnitized your recording heads, or cleaned them...?

I had to use 2 Dolby filters to remove hiss & flutter...

Not sure if your asking or telling bro,lol but i,ll try & reply all the same.I dont like the word shred, it undermines many artists that have brought great food for thought to the table,YJM being one, i,m not going on a huge spewl of names with what & who have done what for guitar, most here know the story & as for where it is going, i have no idea but Shawn Gibson is bringing great things to the Metal Train, as is our Clarky, was really refreshing hearing Pauls last work, the Metal train changes track at last for a better destination!

If i may sidetrack a little....I gave up on rock guitar sounds some years ago in a bid to try & do something different. The main reasons for which, people "on a majority" outside of the Rock/Metal domain that have no idea about elec guitar instrumental music seem to prefer a more gentle acoustic timbre in guitar tone & seem to frown on the elec guitar as if its some kind of satanic nightmare, forget the late night jazz jam sesh eg with the JS Ibanez, bring the fat Jazz model, that is worrysome to me, kids want to learn to improv well live "a lesson in itself" in a jazz setting & many have the rock guitar kit, so i still take the elec to folky/Jazz sessions when i can, to get across its not that bad which i hope in turn will give some of these kids a much needed live gig drug, i have on occasion been "shut out the company" without having played a note, listening to the mutters "whats that weird looking contraption doing here etc " & they wernt talkin bout me bud lol, the future of guitar as we watched earlier is in their hands, its up to us to take care of it for them so that they may find greener pastures & less closed doors
