Cuth

I forgot to thank you for the cigar link.

I pulled through Indy yesterday and thought of you. Did you ever find a new house?

"Hope all is well in Illiniwick country."

Chief Illiniwick is working at an Arbys in Urbana. He is waiting for a call from Florida State University and has filed a lawsuit against the University of Illinois and the NCAA, claiming vocational discrimination. I think they are talking settlement.. ;-P

Keniko...glad to see you're back with a full band....let us know how your personalities work out, and the music of course too!

Thanks for the moral support...I've looked into Taxi several years ago, and planned on joining....thanks for the reminding nudge...I'll contact them once I move out of my current location, and shop my tunes....thanks for the positive + (we musicians can be sensitive buggers...lol)

Zenfish...knowledge is power, power corrupts, the more ya know the less you know, ignorance is bliss...hmmm...let's see....errrrmmmmm....Clarky? lol

well the guy e-mailed me back and is gonna give me my money back but i have to pay for the shipping costs both ways. so instead of getting my $835 back i'll only get $799.99 which i guess is ok. still sucks that i'll be losing $70 for damn shipping!!! oh well. now i gotta try to find a brand new 2001 or 2002 js1000 to replace it! damn that.

thanks all of you that gave me advice and stuff!!

HI JOE AND CO!

You must be working hard, which is great cos that means we will soon be in ear heaven listening to another of your strange and beautiful creations. Give us all a post on here to get excited about though!!

The Bob - Aaaggh, you don't deserve that, it's totally unfair that you should pay the shipping!! The even sadder thing is that he will probably put it on ebay again and do the same to someone else aaagh some people just make you mad!!! I guess it's good that you are getting some of your money back though. Hope you get a cracking guitar soon.

SteveeT - Ignorance is bliss - I wondered why I am such a happy person!! Thanks for clearing that up.

Zenfish - yes knowledge is infinite, but you have much more knowledge than me which makes you superior to me on that score whether you like the word or not. PS It was a compliment - be happy!

Keniko - Have a blast with your band :)

Phyrdom & Delfino - I nearly got tickets to see them (Prodigy) at Braintree the other day but I changed my mind, I probably should have though cos a home town gig is bound to be great and its only a 10 minute walk from my mums too and I would have seen lots of my old friends too...wish I didn't have to think about money so much...still I'd rather save up just in case joe comes to england...I am determined to do that...you lot have made me realize that it is something that just HAS to be done.

js1200js1000 - The Trans-Siberian Orchestra eh?!!! Sounds quite weird, orchestral music with guitars eh, glad you ad a good time. I take it you don't live in the wilds of Canada then? BEARS EH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy late Mondays!!!!!

Hugs Satriella xx

TheBob, it's good to hear you're getting refunded dude! It sucks that you're having to pay for shipping, but I guess you could easily have spent that much getting it repaired so it's a small loss. I'm sure something else will turn up. Be lucky amigo!

Kayla..... I see you had a great Thanksgiving. Nice answer.

Satriella...... Thank you so much. It's been a long time comin'. It hard to find the right chemistry. How are you and how was your Thanksgiving?? Did you have a extra long weekend?

Zen...... How are you? How was your Thanksgiving? I'm finsihing up a project for a friend of mine.....restoring recordings from the 70's with stereo mixes on cassette. It's been a maticulous process. Getting rid of the hiss and mastering with T-Racks has been a frustrating but rewarding experience. All this means is I can devote my time to the Sinfony by the middle of this week. Do you have a deadline or a certain date you want to meet? Take care.

Gee, it's a beautiful snowy Monday....

Al baby...this one's fer you....

John O'Reilly hoisted his beer and said, "Here's to spending the rest of me life, between the legs of me wife!" That won him the top prize at the pub for the best toast of the night! He went home and told his wife, Mary, "I won the prize for the best toast of the night." She said, "Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?" John said, "Here's to spending the rest of me life, sitting in church beside me wife."

"Oh, that is very nice indeed, John!" Mary said.

The next day, Mary ran into one of John's drinking buddies on the street corner. The man chuckled leeringly and said, "John won the prize the other night at the pub with a toast about you, Mary." She said, "Aye,he told me, and I was a bit surprised meself. You know, he's only been there twice in the last four years, and he fell asleep once.

What's the difference between a Marshall Amp. (Perferably an MG 250 DFX) And a Joe Satriani one? Does one or the other have btter sound? Or is it just a name endorsment? Just a few questions for possible future purchases.

Another question: Where's everyone stand on WAh-Wah peddles? I think I'm gonna get one soon as I'd love to have the kinda sound Joe had on "Is their love in space?". So what are the best Wah's out there right now?

Main amp different is a thing called TUBES! aka valves...

MG amps, (which suck btw) are Solid state amp,s i,e bunch of circuitry, fake overdriven tones they will give u ok sound at lower volumes but louder volumes Solid state amps arent great

Tube amps, i.e the expensive ones, are using tubes to get they're overdrive, the more u push them the better they sound, the proper way to get overdrive!! + they smell nice... they really shine when you crank them up marshall JCM's are some of the most famous ones, theres tons of others

wah pedals..... dunlop 535Q 95Q morley bad horsie, vox wah's, ibanez wah's theres loads....

Joe uses the 535Q

lol....... i suck at explanin
