Satriella.....If I may about Joe Walsh. Joe came out in the late 60's or very early 70's with a band called the James Gang. He had a hit called "Walk Away "After that broke up Joe came out with a few solo LP's that were very very good IMHO which spawed the hit " Rocky Mountain Way ". He was known for obscure album titles like his " The smoker you drink the player you get" Album( see what I mean ) Joe was a very well know guitarist at this time and was asked to join The Eagles in the late 70's( which is his claim to fame..IMHO) Joe wrote the hit 'Life In The Fast Lane" as an Eagle.BTW..... Joe did the music sound track for a cult movie called " The Warriors " and briefly appeared in the Drew Carey Show on TV as the guitarist in Drew Carey's band. So there you have it.That's all I know about Joe Walsh. Great ...Great...Guitarist....But, not a God.

To all musicians here...anybody go to or have gone to Berklee college? Music is pretty much all I do and have been doing since I was about 4 or 5, and Berklee is pretty much the only place I want to go to after this year (I'm a senior in high school now, it's almost over). I'd like to hear a little about Berklee from some people who went there or go there. And yes, I know all the people that have gone there. I haven't posted me playing guitar on this site at all yet, I'm hoping to finish recording some stuff in the next few months, see what others think. Well...there's snow outside, roads aren't that bad, but...gives me more of a reason to stay in and play some guitar for a while...It's time to rock!

Stevee T - Wow I had not thought of that or the James Gang in some time. I lived with a band who played a number of their tunes. Used to see Joe sometimes at the natural food restaurant downtown Santa Barbara back in the 70's. Hiding behind a newspaper usually. 49 is a former address for me that I consider lucky. Maybe there was more to that choice than I thought.

Joe Walsh - yea - cool guy. He played with Joe and Steve in Barcelona a few years ago at an Expo thing. Also the gig where Steve perfored "For the Love of God" for the first time publicly. Brian May was heading the bill and the others were his guests. Cool gig if you ever get to see it.

Ooooohhhhhh so that's joe Walsh :0) thanks peeps! Wow kicked off a bit of a spark there!! never have been a particular Eagles fan, they weren't that big over here - I have heard of them though. I must say the Joe Walsh on the link looks about twenty years younger than the Joe Walsh on Expo 92.

Keniko - Thanks for that rundown - Brian May said he was a god not me :@

Clarky - hehe you made me laugh......some would say I'm a bit off the rails too!!!

FabLawyer - At last!!!!!!! Someone else who knows what I'm talking about. My jaw still hits the floor when I see for the love of god on that, though the whole shebang is great!

With that in mind - all you shredders and skinners out there - one thing I have always wondered is WHY THE FACES????? Steve Vai pulls some absolutely crackers when he plays that, although I have noticed that many do - why, why why do you want to look so stupid? Although I guess for the most part people are looking at your fingers, so it doesn't matter what your face is doing really - but is it like a pidgeon thing, if your legs move your head has to nod, translated into guitarist, if your fingers are plucking then you loose control of your face? no offence here I'm being serious, (OK in my usual silly way) it really makes me wonder?

Oh.....my......god!!

Why do all these guitarists have to have so many albums...it's not fair...it will take me forever...OK you have to help guys & gals...please help me get the best order...I trust you...You ranted about Dream Theater Scenes from a memory and it is the just the best mind blowing thing I've heard for ages...so Greg Howe seems a bit too jazzy for me so I will probably leave his albums till lastish but how about Yngwie which of his thousands of albums do I get first ....please list top 100 with 1 being the best and then Andy Timmons as above.

I've just been given £50, I was going to get a hair cut, but hey now I'm growing it for many years to come...anyway I should be able to get 4 albums maybe...may strike 5 if I wait till the January sales!!!

HELP ME!!!!!!!

Hugs Satriella xx
