The Eagles' Don Henley says the band will return to the studio early next year to continue work on its long-awaited new album.

"We leave for a European tour in May, so that gives us approximately the first four months of 2006 to do some writing and recording," Henley revealed in a recent interview. The Eagles' European trek currently is scheduled from a May concert in Barcelona, Spain, through a June 23 show in Glasgow, Scotland.

marimariSRV: Wow, that is waaaaay too kuul!!.... Glad you had a great time, we hope you get to meet YJM, and tell Ronnie we said YO!....

Zenfish: Yeah man, Sammy's era was a disappointment for me.... Even more was the return of Ed last year, and then hearing about how the \//-/ Tour fell apart because of him.... Somethings never change, but Ed is still young enough to prove us all wrong.... We shall see....

962: LOL Simon, 10C is about as cold as it gets here.... Sometimes we get into the low 6's, lol, that's when we wear our heavy jackets!.... In the winter, we get a northern wind chill (from the Mainland) that makes it feel colder than it really is.... Brrrrrrr, lol, we is spoiled!....

....Nitey Nite....

Oh, btw, michelle.... I'm still in tears, lol!!!! 8-)

Tastey, hey girl, stick around! Everyone misses you here on t2j. Sorry things didn't work out. My sis I told you about a while ago also took a stand and split, and now she's much happier. You're a beautiful girl. There's somebody out there that will treat you the way you deserve to be treated. Take some time for yourself first. Things will look up soon. *hugs*

Best guitarists - or should I say my favs - in no special order... Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Randy Rhoades, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Leifson, Kurt Hammett, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, Eric Clapton, Steve Vai, Joe Perry, Pete Townsend, Jerry Cantrell, Mick Mars, Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Larry Carlton, my husband : )

NOW - let's see everyone's favorite drummers :) in no special order ~

Mike Portnoy, Shannon Larkin, Neil Peart, Jeff Campitelli, Jeremy Colson, John Bonham, Lars Ulrich, Vinnie Abbott, Billy Cobham, Nick Menza, Keith Moon, Alex Van Halen, Tommy Lee, Charlie Benante...

I know I'm forgetting some important ones...

edit: Mikey, that guy was spankin' his own ass. lmao!! It gets funnier each time you watch it. I think I watched it about 4x last night till my belly hurt from laughing.

....Before I go.... ....A kuul dude posted this.... I never did realize how incredibly great Shawn Lane was not only as a guitarist, but as a person, until after his passing.... What a great loss.... Shawn Lane we miss you.... Jump past the intro cause it is crazy, lol (it's the ending clip of the tape), but jump to 25:28 min. and the song Get You Back and everything else he does will blow you away.... What a musical genius....

....Enjoy, and Nite....

Edit: michelle: And the crazy thing was he did'nt have a clue, LMAO!!!!.... Oh, and I'll add a few others: Mike Mangini and Virjil Donati

We did an acoustic medly of the 2 songs out on the radio right now, Spellbound & No Ordinary Love. Good Morning Satchland...... How R U ?

I was busy yesterday and I couldn't post. sniff.... Did you miss me? NAAAHHHH ! ! ! .....lol....

Mari..... Happy belated birthday my friend. You are something else. How do you get Yngwie to play on your birthday?...lol....Has Michelle given you some Macgyver tips?...lol....The power of women.....Well.....you have to respect that.....and I do. I'm glad you had a great time. I see you mentioned Yngwie's Dream Catcher. I was talking with Cuth about If Yngwie has this on his mic stand at each show. You certainly cleared that up. Cuth and I agreed your photo's are much better then the photographer he linked us to. Anyway I'm glad you had a great time. I think it's great you got to meet Yngwie's drummer( another Macgyver tip?) and got his sticks. That's really cool. I hope you hear from Mr. Vai. We're all pulling for you. Happy Birthday. Hugs to you.

cheese.....You're not wierd...but that guitar is. I agree with SupaDave. The string tension has got to have a bad effect on that guitar. It also has to sound very thin as there's no wood left for sustain. Also, who in there right mind would bastardise a JS model and reduce it to look like that ? That's crazy. Almost an insult to Joe. Do that to another guitar...But not a JS Model. What are people thinking sometimes? Take care. Hugs.

Angelina..... Thanks again. I'll keep you and Rick posted on the progress. I plan on adding new live material and video and photos from our shows to the site. This wont happen for a couple of months.....till the bands on it's feet. AAARRRHHH ! ! ! ! The important issue is ....I'm back in the saddle after year of searching and I'm really excited. Hugs to you and a handshake to Rick...lol.... Take care.

Danny K.... Nice work bro.Sherrie's voice is beautiful as is your guitar playing. What was it like playing at an award ceremony? That had to be a rewarding experience for you. Congrats and good luck to you.

Captain Steve....I most likely missed you but have a safe trip and good luck to you. See you in 4 months. Do ships have computers? hint.....Take care.

Kayla....How are you my dear? R U tearing up the mountain yet? Hugs to you.

Stevee T.... You got mail.... Take care my friend.

Michelle.....How about Steve Gadd? Steve's one of my favs. I share your guitar hero list. Take care( Macgyver girlie)...lol...Hugs to you.....

Hi Joe..... Anytime you want to let us know about the CD is fine by me....lol....Take care and thanks for sharing your gift of music with us. Your music truly touches our souls. Handshakes all around to the band and crew. Hugs to the family. Take Care.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! ! !

I'm wore out from all of the hugs and handshakes today....I got to sit down.....Whew ! ! !

The Pork Tornado...... I respect your opinon. Question. Do you play guitar? Shred guitar is genre of music just like any other music. You have to be into it to like it....obviously. You may not like this genre of music and that's fine. You have to have repect for Shawn or any other shredder. This talent didn't happen overnight. The time, patience, practice, sacrifice and love for playing guitar is how they got there. You have to respect that and any other genre of music because the musicians who create this music we all love have shared there time, patience, practice, sacrifice and love for the music with us. Take care.

Saw Yngwie last night...WOW! If you like Yngwie and he's playing in your area, do not miss this tour, totally amazing! Totally amazing...what else can I say.

marimariSRV That must have been awesome meeting the drummer and stuff. Yngwie was really getting rid of his picks FAST! I was expecting it to be a lot louder like some were saying, but it wasn't bad at all.

-Yngwie has his wall of Marshall's taking up pretty much the whole back area of the stage...8 full stacks, 2 Marshall heads on top of each full stack, luckily he didn't have them all turned on. He only had, I think, 4 of the heads turned on, who knows how many of the cabs were hooked up, but he didn't use all of them. Sick show.... I wish it was yesterday night again tonight!

My fave guitar player (and singer) is that young guy Jazzy had provided a link for and had turned us on to quite a while back. Damn I wish I had bookmarked that site. His work (at least what he had posted up back then) has never been equalled!!! LMBFAO

This is funny.....makes you wonder does'nt it...lol. It's like George Carlin once said..."There's a Hell, and also a Heck"...lol !

SteveeT...you're welcome.

Even though that furious shredding does''nt grab me, I have to agree that Shawn Lane was talented.

Jazzy where are you???? Twilight Zone?? "Where the bullet hits the bone" (lyric courtesy of Golden Earring).......
