sotd for wolf - electric head by rob zombie

Slan, you scottish nutjob you. lmao! But can ya build a house in seven days? lol! I bet you could rip one down in two ;-)

As for the CHAT, it's a great place to talk to Satch fans from all over the world. Every great once in a while, Joe blesses us with a conversation, which is the coolest thing in the world. The problem is, if you go into the chat acting like an ass, you're going to be treated like one. It's that simple. We laugh and joke and call each other names, just like friends do in REAL life. We talk about any and every subject under the sun. If we only talked about Joe, it would get boring very fast. Even Joe would agree with that. We laugh, and I mean laugh that you think your insides are going to burst, sometimes we cry, and we vent - just like we do in REAL life. It's a place for friends to share information and get to know each other. I've met a lot of cool people through the chat, each with different personalities, and most with a great sense of humor. The problem is when people come in looking for trouble, spying on people, or they want to pick a fight because they had a bad day. Then your really not welcome, and you will probably be treated accordingly, just as you would be in REAL life. The bottom line is - the chat is what YOU make it.

errrr, I had something else to say, but I'll save it for another day.

On the chat Michelle hit it on the head.

Michelle - Yea the titles are great. And they are good players.

Keniko - Thanks. I've found that the players that make me want to play more are the ones I like the best.

DCK - It's been nice not dealing with you!!

Satriella: Well, if I can help too, here is a link to Greg Howes site.... Awesome musician/songwriter, and listen to the audio samples at the left lower corner of the page.... Greg is uncanny in his musical approach and feel!.... You can also check out vids from his dvd in the multimedia section........

....And btw.... Joe Walsh is an awesome blues player!!!!.... Just check out the Crossroads dvd and you will see....

962: If you get a chance, check out Richie Kotzens Acoustic Cuts.... You'll get more of an idea of his vocal talent.... Sad that there are only 3 samples, the best work is not heard from the choices.... I hope your dialup can check em' quickly....

michelle: Werd to my sistA!! :-)

Satriella, watch out for these guys!! They'll have yer head spinning with all these guitar players, and before ya know it, you'll be selling a kidney for money to buy all these cd's!!!!!

Mikey, *big hugs*

Hi Guys,

It never ceases to amaze me just how helpful you are! I thought I was in for a right ribbing for not knowing some of your beloved guitarists - but no you all gave me links to their sites, well I guess I know what I'll be doing for the holidays! By the way, as for calling Joe Walsh (incidentally I still have no idea who he is) a guitar god, they were no my words they were Brian Mays on expo (Seville) 92, there was Steve Vai, Joe, Brian, Nuno already up there on stage, then Brian says "I'd like to introduce you to the guitar god that all us guitar gods look up to - Jo Walsh", On walks - well no it wasn't really a walk more like a hitler saunter, this mad thing, peering into the cameras, with bottle bottom glasses on, torn jeans and a scarf like a piono keyboard! Definately not your average Jo!! Anyway they all launch into "Rocky Mountain Way" - Strange man indeed.

Special thanks to Civgeek and 962 - your commentaries on the guys was very helpful. I'll let you know what I think of them, in say 6 months when I've had a chance to check them all out - mark it in your diaries.

Michelle - Yep, I'm dizzy alright - going in for the op next week!!!! hahaha

SteveeT - Thanks for the concern, it's bin a hard day at work, not made any easier by all the micky taking cos one minute I'm deep, husky and sexy and next I'm Minnie mouse!!

Distant hugs to you all (wouldn't want you to catch anything)

Satriella xx

Satriella.....If I may about Joe Walsh. Joe came out in the late 60's or very early 70's with a band called the James Gang. He had a hit called "Walk Away "After that broke up Joe came out with a few solo LP's that were very very good IMHO which spawed the hit " Rocky Mountain Way ". He was known for obscure album titles like his " The smoker you drink the player you get" Album( see what I mean ) Joe was a very well know guitarist at this time and was asked to join The Eagles in the late 70's( which is his claim to fame..IMHO) Joe wrote the hit 'Life In The Fast Lane" as an Eagle.BTW..... Joe did the music sound track for a cult movie called " The Warriors " and briefly appeared in the Drew Carey Show on TV as the guitarist in Drew Carey's band. So there you have it.That's all I know about Joe Walsh. Great ...Great...Guitarist....But, not a God.

To all musicians here...anybody go to or have gone to Berklee college? Music is pretty much all I do and have been doing since I was about 4 or 5, and Berklee is pretty much the only place I want to go to after this year (I'm a senior in high school now, it's almost over). I'd like to hear a little about Berklee from some people who went there or go there. And yes, I know all the people that have gone there. I haven't posted me playing guitar on this site at all yet, I'm hoping to finish recording some stuff in the next few months, see what others think. Well...there's snow outside, roads aren't that bad, but...gives me more of a reason to stay in and play some guitar for a while...It's time to rock!

Stevee T - Wow I had not thought of that or the James Gang in some time. I lived with a band who played a number of their tunes. Used to see Joe sometimes at the natural food restaurant downtown Santa Barbara back in the 70's. Hiding behind a newspaper usually. 49 is a former address for me that I consider lucky. Maybe there was more to that choice than I thought.
