Catching up since Saturday. Lordy time flies!

Marie Noelle: I hope to come back, I'd love to see the fields of Tulips.......a Photographers dream. It would be great to spend time with you & Huib again. It was so wonderful. My friends couldn't believe I didn't have some at the coffee shops, I said it's been years so why bother?! I don't enjoy it. Nuff said. More lethal then ever eh....Keep code name "Scotty" on Standby. LOL

Satriella: I agree, accidents mess with your mind. I only go out if I have to...another vehicle is on the way. Look out, here comes Rockzilla!! LOL Thanks for your concern. ;-))

Slans: I'll tell Santa that he should let one of his Reindeer have a Vacation in Barca...I know you'll take good care of her. ;-))

Michelle: My Dad came up with a brilliant idea.....they have 2 vehicles in Fla can do with 1 so they are going to ship his "Tank" aka "Rockzilla" up to me. It's going to cost $675 and I'll chip in for the Insurance. It's got all wheel drive and could probably run over Toshi.....lol. It's not going to arrive till next week & we are supposed to get snow mixed w/ rain tomorrow nite, you'll get a few inches...we aren't gonna get much I hope. fingers crossed!! Rockzilla is the perfect name, it's kinda a blonde/gold color like Dee Snyder. he-hee! Have you tried Lay's Dill Pickel Potato chips?!! They are the BOMB!! I don't buy em but I was looking for em & couldn't find em...go figure!!

SupaDave: Thanks Dave! I'm glad you didn't become one with a Semi either..it's so damn frightening. One of my worst driving experiences.....I've done a lot of driving. I didn't get my license until I was 18 I think, but I've done ALOT of driving......following bands on the East Coast and just traveling/Road trips...exploring the country. lol My accident record has been ZERO.....I've had people run into me tho.

Traci: Thanks sweetie! Hahaa I called it a tank and just read you suggested a tank too! **High Five** sister! LOL .....I was really scared. Toshi will STAY HOME in bad weather from now on if I can help it!! It was great talking to you the other night. I had 3 IM's going on....I knew I was going to mess up. :-O I really appreciated your thoughts on Love....hear, hear! Beautifully spoken. ;)

Ovation: I'm so glad we are both safe & sound. Thanks! It stressed me out all weekend. I just stayed home but had to go to the food store..that was it! lol I hope to see "Memoirs of a Geisha" next week, I've been waiting a few months for this to come out. I knew there was so much more to them than what I (we American's) knew. The Japanese culture is so complex & diverse but very grounded.... from what I know (which is very little). I'm looking forward to learning & understanding more of their wonderful Culture. History is so amazing......... I didn't care about learning when I was in school, now I find it fastinating! I'm so glad I didn't miss TSO...Thanks Chee, I can't wait!!

mari for next time you can nearly always do a ctrl-z to do an undo, even if the app you're using doesn't necessarily say it has an undo function... it's cos ctrl-c ctrl-v ctrl-x (cut) and ctrl-z are built into windows' clipboard fnuctionality... hth and sorry it's probably too late!

GOTTA HAVE JOE..not speakin for JOE..but,I really thinks he knows thats wat his fans expect,,,YEA pics!..However,,,I would think as long as they are NON-FLASH,,meaning,,DIGITAL W/NO FLASH...Digital can pick-up sooo much more than 35 Mill..as long as the lighting & angle of THE SHOT is good..as a person that shoots alot,,the key is to use .."YOUR" artistic mind..LIKE..A COOL SNOWBOARDING shot..You know what I mean,,Better still..know that Joe plays on the LEFT side of the stage,,BE THERE,,THE CLOSER,THE BETTER..I once took my 35 mill to the 4th & B...my cam decided to have a mind of its own,,I had 1000 speed film,,MY FLASH kept goin,,,,ARGGG...thank God I had a DIGITAL..Hope this helps you,,I used to Photo 4 CIRCUS MAGAZINE,,If youd like Joe Photos let me know,,,DA

Thanks Blue Moon for the tips on harmonics in Satch Boogie. I'll give it a shot but I better let out the springs a bit more on my Floyd Rose. I can't raise it any higher than a m3rd. Joe's goes to an octave right?

dakook I had 1000 speed film,,MY FLASH kept goin i'm pretty sure the speed of your film is not what made your flash keep clicking in.... your film is pretty much inanimate; it does its job as in it captures what the shutter allows (what you the shooter allows) it to see... it's the way you set your camera that makes the flash flash... whether it's film or digital you are able (unless you have a point and shoot, but seeing as you were talking about 35mm i imagine you weren't) to set these things... sorry if i misunderstood you, but film and digital are practically identical at the shooting stage... it's the getting-to-see-what-you-shot stage that's different....
saxguy joe's floyd lets him pull up something like a fourth on the g string... an octave is way too much... HTH

Theforgottenboy - The more I think about it the more intrigued I am by your question ....why do you want to know that?

SteveeT - Thanks for the grammy link - JOE should get a LEGEND grammy I think!!!! Winter migration is great you really get the feel of slow flapping wings on a long journey, fantastic.

Phyrdom - thanks for the tip.

Cuthbert - ooooooo hope all goes well.

Guitarmeister - Great news about the CDs (go away you little green monster, Im not jealous!!) Let me know what they are like...Strings...hmmm...is it a good thing or a bad thing that you go through so many strings technically? I mean is it cos you play them too hard, too long..using a stanley knife blade as a pick, is of course, is a bit of a bad idea..phaps you should stop that now :)

js1200js1000 - ENGLAND EH! ENGLAND EH! ENGLAND EH!!!!

PUBLIC NOTICE - I'm not patriotic in the least, I'm a worldwidean, by that I mean we are all the same. The above reference ENGLAND EH was a joke!

Hugs to all Satriella xx

OMG Just found this story on the BBC News:

officials in the Brazilian town of Biritiba Mirim, 70km (45 miles) east of Sao Paulo, have gone far beyond that.

They plan to prohibit residents from dying because the local cemetery has reached full capacity.

Brazil city proposes ban on death

The bill states that "offenders will be held responsible for their acts" Municipal regulations normally ban anything from smoking in public places to parking in certain zones. But officials in the Brazilian town of Biritiba Mirim, 70km (45 miles) east of Sao Paulo, have gone far beyond that.

They plan to prohibit residents from dying because the local cemetery has reached full capacity.

Mayor Roberto Pereira says the bill is meant as a protest against federal regulations that bar new or expanded cemeteries in preservation areas.

"They have not taken local demands into consideration", he claims.

Mr Pereira wants to build a new cemetery, but the project has been stalled because 98% of Biritiba Mirim is considered a preservation area.

A 2003 decree by Brazil's National Environment Council forbids burial grounds in protected areas.

'Ridiculous'

Biritiba Mirim, a town of 28,000 inhabitants, not only wants to prohibit residents from passing away.

The bill also calls on people to take care of their health in order to avoid death.

I haven't got a job, nor am I healthy. And now they say I can't die. That's ridiculous," Amarildo do Prado, an unemployed resident, told local media.

The bill states that "offenders will be held responsible for their acts". However, it does not say what the punishment will be.

How funny is that!!!!!

Hugs Satriella

Al, actually, it's 7:50. Better fix yer clock ;-)

In the Feb 2006 issue of Revolver there is the first interview from Phil Anselmo, and also a story on Pantera.

edit - Mikey, you can be my driving mosh buddy anyday :) I did it again last night on the way home. I must say, it's much better to do it under the cover of darkness. lmao! Yer much less likely to have another driver crash while thinking yer going into a fit and watching you instead of the road. lmao! Last nights rendition of "Nobody (froze) Knows Anything" was awesome. Yes indeedy - nobody froze. lmao!!
