Ok, well I've spoke to tutors, advisors and my parents on the matter of changing course. And its decided (mainly by the tutors and me) that it would be easier for me to enter the course I want in the second year as thats when it gets more 3D based. This was decided because at the end of the year I would need 120 credits to finish. And because one of my current modules is run over two semesters I wouldnt finish it and wouldn't be able to get the credits from the new course as it also has a module run over two semesters that I would've missed half of.

I'm just glad its been decided I wouldn't have to start in the first year though...because that would mean even more debt.

I've just got to finish the first year of this course as best I can move and the credits are transferable.

I'm glad its all sorted, I'm sure I can last 12 more weeks after Christmas.

I'm handing in all my work tomorrow ahead of schedule so I can go out on the night with my mates and get absolutely smashed with no worries :-)

Thanks everyone for being so helpful in my time of crisis and depression, I wish everyone a merry christmas, I'll actually be able to post more often now as I'm home for christmas and taking my PC with me.

Hello to all in the Realm of Satch,

Just a quick stop over......I've been so busy, I'm a few days behind but tomorrow I can take a break & catchup. I hope. I finally caught up with the world! I now have Broadband for my PC. Major project let me tell you! I spent all weekend getting ready & figuring out the car situation. I'll fill u in on the detail later.... problem solved.

Today I took a half day because I had a Handyman come to replace my Kitchen faucet & the Tank fill valve. I knew better than to say he was fixing my plumbing. ;-)) However the Cable guys were coming also but they didn't show up till 5:40 I took a half day of work...... kick me! I also had to make chocolate covered pretzel rods for a cookie swap. Pain in the Ass!! I was going to do 4 diff kinds of Choc but only did 3 and Caramel. The caramel stuck to the wax paper, I was going to cover em with choc but was so disgusted with choc & Cable Co so I said F*** it!! I spent most of my day on this stuff.....Cable couldn't hook me up so I spent an hour on the phone with some very nice ladies from Canada eh?! I didn't get to find out what part but I'm sure it's friggin cold....it's gonna be 5 degress here tonight!! Bbbrrrrrr!!!! Too cold for my ass. lol Good weather for snuggling.....and fireplaces. Wish I had one....There was chocolate everywhere......what a mess! Make sure you always use the good suff. I cheated and used a no name brand for the milk choc and I can say there is a HUGE Diffierence!! Quality counts.......but sometimes I cheat. LMAO!! The stuff turned to mud cause i shut the heat off to talk to cable guys.....it never liquified again........WTF?!. The others were silky smooth...just like chocolate should be. I love that movie "Chocolate" with Jonny Depp filmed in Europe. Very Beautiful!! Great movie, I highly recommend.... I just love dark chocolate....very intense flavor.

This was a very long brief message.......LOL. I'll be Back!! mari

Guitarmiester: Matt King hasn't really had a band in over a year. He broke up Course of Evolution a while ago, because he really wasn't in to it anymore (as far as I understand it). Every now and then he does some shows with Doug, TJ, and Brett, but it's nothing regular. Look him up on myspace.com and put in New Jersey as part of the search, he's got some new music up there.

To: Joe Satriani, the most amazing guitarist in the world. From: Nick Smith, hence the name inspired by the most amazing guitarist in the world.

I just bought your Anthology album ( i had to get an album after watching the G3 concert on Video, Awsome) and i love it the music that you make is unbelievable. I know this is gonna sound like a pain in the ass fan but every song that you make inspires me and makes me want to try so much harder to get the best out of myself and my instruments that i can. i have just one Question for you though what made you think of "Until we say goodbye" i love the song and can almost play the whole thing, but the meaning, the song sounds like the meaning behind it??? don't get me wrong i love every song on the album just this one really stands out to me.....

Hi guys,

Something to make you go hmmmm..

AL = Abraham Lincoln.......JFK = John F Kennedy

AL elected to congress 1846

JFK elected to congress 1946

AL elected president 1860

JFK elected president 1960

The names L & K each contain 7 letters

Both were particulaly concerned with civil rights

Both wives lost children while in the white house

Both presidents were shot on a Friday and in the head

AL secretary was named Kennedy

JFK secretary named Lincoln

Both were assasinated by southerners and succeeded by southerners named Johnson

Andrew Johnson who succeeded Lincoln born 1808 Lyndon Johnson who succeeded Kennedy born 1908

John Wilkes Booth who killed AL born 1839

Lee Harvey Oswald who killed JFK born 1939

Both assasins were known by their 3 names

Both names compiled of 15 letters

Lincoln shot at a theater called Ford

Kennedy shot in a car called Lincoln

Booth ran from the theater & was caught in a warehouse

Oswald ran from a warehouse & was caught in a theater

Booth & Oswald were assasinated before their trials

A week before Lincoln was shot he was in Monroe MD

A week before Kennedy was shot he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Creepy huh!!! I'm sure most of you guys knew all this being in the US but I thought it was interesting.

Hugs Satriella xx

as for the harmonic in satch boogie, its just an open G artificial harmonic with the bar depressed, then raised, then depresed... then rasied!!

its just your standard satch scream, Maybe he played it like that before but 90% of the time thats it, when u see harmonics tabbed in tab books just watch Joe, its alot easier to see whats goin on

+ ima whammy bar whore :D

Me again...

SteveeT - HaHaHa very funny ...thanks for that but why do people get them and are there lots of awards for different things or is it just music?

mthead101 - That was a very nice thing to say thank u! I love all the names on here, they are so cryptic, gives people an air of mystery...well sometimes...theres nothing mysterious about my name...but yours...hmmmm...101 seems to feature a few times in here....hmmmm...I'm probably missing something very obvious.....probably the most famous Satch song ever knowing me...I'm hopeless at track names...know all the albums...shame on me I consider them all one big track in different parts...noooo not the tomatoes....errrrrgh!

Guitarmeister - Actually I haven't listened to awake all the way through, will have to sneak into Troy's bedroom and borrow that...thanks for the advise...you lot are great!!!!

peace&guitars - stop it!!!

js1200js1000 - always feel a warm glow of appreciation when I see your name come up...good to know your OK...you tend to worry when you don't see familiar names for a while....I feel good da.na.na.na.na.na.na!!!!

HAPPY WEDNESDAYS to you all especially JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slam-a-tocious hugs to you all Satriella xx

Sorry mthead101..couldn't resist :)

Hey Joe!(<-how funny) I wanted to introduce myself to you. You must excuse that my english is not so good, because I´m only at the age of 15 now and come from the norh-west of Germany. I play the guitar for already 8 years and I´m practising like hell to become one day maybe as good as you. I still have got a question: When you performe "searching" at the g3-experience in tokyo, you use a very beatiful guitar with good-sounding pickups. How do those pickups call? It would make me very happy, if answered. Yours faithfully Christoph
