From the online diary of Nikki Sixx ~

December 2nd, 2005 Siem Reap, Cambodia Nov 29th, 2005 Woke up,we all packed our equipment, loaded the van and head out at 7 am. We had mikto (security and guide) and virak (translator) and a driver, but more importantly we had no idea what was about to happen to us. I think I speak for donna, paul, kimo and myself when I say our lives have been changed forever. I will try but I don’t know if I can even put into words the level of poverty, desperation and hopelessness we encountered. To bring it all full circle, the spirituality of the Cambodian people is so high, it beams in there eyes and it blasts you from there smiles which makes it even harder to see there way of life. 40 dollars a month is the average income per family. Many have 10 to a family few have less than 4. We stopped in a village of maybe 200 people to by some trinkets and take photos when these children came up to me to sell these little sugar balls they make. Of course, we always buy stuff, even stuff we don’t need. Kimo had handed me 13 one dollar bills (we were outta money, having given all of it away near Angkor wat) and I hand this little girl (maybe 9 years old) the dollar for the candy, then another child came up to me, saying please sir…and pointing to her mouth as if she was saying..food,food,please.As I was handing these children one dollar bills it quickly turned into a frenzy, like sharks during a feeding frenzy. I quickly ran out of money and there were around 25 kids around me, all jumping and screaming, please sir, please.I looked over at donna and she was in tears. She couldn’t take seeing this, but she couldn’t walk away. Donna never walks away.Mitko said, we have to leave, it was going to get bad. The parents were coming and more kids running down the dirt road towards the van yelling, please money, and we were outta money. I knew then, when we drove off, looking at my wife she was gonna do something, but what I didn’t know. We all sat quit for about ten minutes when donna blurted out “I have to do something”.We stopped in a cafe for coffee and it there happened. Donna came up with a genius idea to drive education which in turn drives jobs and starts the path towards a better life.Mitko and Virak jumped in an said “we can introduce you to the correct people to make your idea happen”There were many things that happened, too many for me to type.Impossable for me to put into words.Maybe the photos will paint a clearer picture.

December 2nd, 2005 Sydney, Australia Dec 2nd 2005 7 am I sit here in Australia thinking of what we left behind, knowing Donna is on a mission, one which will change people lives. When I arrived at the hotel today the hotel manager said in a very chipper voice, hello Mr. sixx, how was your holiday? I said nothing, neither did kimo, she said I hear it was short, I hope you had a nice time. I looked a kimo and we both looked at the floor, like I said, I just can’t seem to get it into words.

2 PM Just got back from a press conference. Walked straight into a wall of journalists and photographers. Firing off questions like “So, do you guys still get along? ‘ and other mundane, lame questions. It seemed surreal. So unimportant. I haven’t been able to pick up my camera since Bangkok. Nothing seems important enough to photograph. I hope some of Donna’s,Pauls and my photos will move some of you to look deeper inside yourselves, to be grateful for what you have and to not complain about what you wish you did have.

wow michelle.... Compelling story/pics there from Nikki.... I havent gone there, but my co-worker Doug says that they are the nicest people on the Planet.... They live a hard life, but have the warmest hearts....

....Like Nikki said.... Let's be greatful for what we have, for there are millions of less fortunate in this world.... If everyone in the world gave $10 to the poorest nations (that is, to the needy people), perhaps poverty would be null and void.... It could be done....

....Nite all....

Everything is handed in and its a huge weight off. Nothing to do now but listen to the cleaner complain about someone dying their hair black in the shower and making a mess lol...

Whoo pub tonight then the girls are coming round to get drunk in the kitchen like we did during freshers week, WHOO going home tomorrow :-)

Have you heard the new guitar pro program?...The sound engine is so improved, its awesome.

Name this song before I go insane...I know its by Journey but I don't know the title.

"Anyway you want it, thats the way you need it"

Those are the only lyrics I remember but yeah.

Mikey, I'm just cruisin' around Nikki's site. Very cool! He tells it like it is. He and his wife love to photograph everything, and there are some absolutely fantastic photos on his site. He has some nice shots of Japan in there too :) He's been through it all, but has turned out to be a loving husband and father of five kids. Five! lol! He seems to be the most grounded guy in the band, though I don't know much about Mick aside from his recent health probs. Tommy and Vince still seem to have a lot of rock star behavior going on. lol! I can't wait to see them in Feb. I'm taking my daughter. It's going to be insane fun!

mthead, s'up!! The post was just a reminder that sometimes we all get caught up in material things and forget about what's really important.

Yoda, I hope your right. I thought I heard them say that 41 people were killed.

Anyways, I have found a cure for the cold weather - Anthrax (the band, not the stuff you mail to your local congressman). I left work last night, and the thermometer in my car said it was 13 degrees F. It was COLD! As I started pulling out of the parking lot, I turned on my car stereo. I had my favorite Anthrax cd playing, which sounds amazingly killer in my car. As I sat at the first red light, Caught In A Mosh came on. I sat there doing my best bobblehead impression until I got away from the traffic, then I went to full out mental patient mode. lmao! I was singing my ass off and bouncing from my waist up having quite an aerobic work-out while still using my bestest driving skills. I didn't even have the heat on in the car, and I managed to stay toasty warm. lmao!! I didn't have the pleasure of pulling up to anyone in another car to show them my new found warming method, but maybe next time :-) I'm so damn good at entertaining myself sometimes. lol!

Still 15 pages behind...

Delfino, thanks for putting those lyrics in my head. If I could reach you, I'd choke you dead. lmao! I have to leave here in a few minutes, and I'll be rolling that damn song around trying to remember it. GAH!!

Here - i found it - but I refuse to read it. lol!

Any Way You Want It

Any way you want it That’s the way you need it Any way you want it

She loves to laugh She loves to sing She does everything She loves to move She loves to grove She loves the lovin’ things

Ooh, all night, all night Oh, every night So hold tight, hold tight Ooh, baby, hold tight

Oh, she said, Any way you want it That’s the way you need it Any way you want it She said, any way you want it That’s the way you need it Any way you want it

I was alone I never knew What good love could do Ooh, then we touched Then we sang About the lovin’ things

Ooh, all night, all night Oh, every night So hold tight, hold tight Ooh baby, hold tight

Oh, she said, Any way you want it That’s the way you need it Any way you want it She said, any way you want it That’s the way you need it Any way you want it

Good Morning Satchland.....How Are You Guys and Girls ?

Well it's not officially Winter but we're going to get another 2" to 5" of snow today. I guess it's Winter for me. The temp. will be nice though......Lower 30's. I can handle that.

Band practice was awesome last night. It's so different for Mick and I with a drummer who is not only great but you can work with. It's a good situation. Everyone takes direction well and we all work together for the music. It has to be about the music and you have to have fun or what's the point. It seems I have both with this line up and I couldn't be happier.

michelle.... I'm glad you have the GW issue. It's awesome. I know what you mean about the video. What a great tribute. "Dime" would be honored. The pic that struck a chord( no pun ) was of "Dimes" birth with his mom Coralyn holding him in the hospitol bed. I fell apart when I saw that. I thought of my own boys and how much pain the Abbott's will always be in. What a loss. It makes no sense....no sense at all. All the pics were great shots. I liked the one with Heatfield jammin' with Pantera 20 years ago. Man....Time really does fly. Thanks for the Nikki diary post. That's interesting and very heart warming. I'm glad Donna is reaching out to these people. Education is key to thier survival. They're capable of taking care of themselves and educating them into doing so is a step in the right direction. Throwing money and aid is only a bandaide...and an expensive one. Plus the problems will still be there when the money runs out. Take care. Hugs to you.

Mari.... It's funny how life always wants to bite you in the ass. Your story put a smile on my face. I imagined your kitchen full of chocolate. Well the bright side is you have chocolate and broadban internet. That's the only way to go. Congrats to you. Hugs.

Satriella..... Thanks for the interesting correlations between Kennedy and Lincoln. Interesting and scary. Hugs.

Slansroom.....Thanks for your comments. I'll be picking up your CD soon. I promise. That's Widow Makers Highway right?....lol....Take care.

Kayla..... How have you been? We can actually snowboard in Chicago with all the snow we're getting. Just need to find a hill. How's that mountain doing? Have you gone Lately? Still playing guitar? Hugs.

Angelina/Dakook...How are you guys? Hope all is well with the twins. Dakook...nice pic on the guitar. Thanks for sending that. Angelina...Have a safe trip back home. Email us when you get back to Cali. Take care you guys. Hugs and handshakes...lol....

Have A Great Day Everyone.

Edit....We've just witnessed the shortest Wolf post... EVER ! ! !
