Hello Sweeties,

quick note...busy night

mthead101 - Oh no, your not mysterious any more.......but thanks...I will still give you an on-line hug!!!!!!

Michelle - It's true no-one was killed in the blast. Keep rockin on with the multi-tasking-aerobics and stay warm, I can't believe that I just popped up the shop and I didn't need a coat...it is December 15th isn't it...I'm not stuck in a time warp (I feel a song coming on!!! What a classic...sing along.."lets do the time warp again!!!!) am I?

Anyone else here just luv the songs from Rocky Horror?

Delfino - Hey your little room is so cool - how big is it? There is so much detail, it's great..hope you get top marks for it.

Keniko - Oh good, I wasn't seeing things then..re..wolf

Theforgottenboy - I'm gonna really bug you now...you want to know my favourite slow satch song...well...I just can't do it...I know it's lame but I do just love ALL of Joes stuff and I couldn't possibly put one track above another...how annoying is that...I've tried...honestly I have...but I love a track...then I put another one on and I love that one and so it goes on..pathetic...Crystal Planet is my least favourite album but that is the best I can do..sorry man!

Big hugs to all - glad it's catching on...Satriella xx

Cuth - I feel for you. Today is the annual year end tax planning meeting where I attempt to project the outcome of 2005 to the 5 principals. Psychic accounting. After the meeting they decide what they really want to happen and spend the next two weeks micromanaging me.

SteveeT..... Thanks Bro. No gigs planned yet. I'm updating the site soon with new player info. I'm going to be pointing club owners and entertainment co.'s to the site when completed. I'm looking for late Feb. or Mar. gigs. One gig I'm interested in is a bar called The Lunar Bar. They brew there own beer and it's pretty good stuff. The first Tue. of every month they host a jam night in which they stream the audio and video over the net. If I get a shot I'll let everyone know at T2J . You'll be able to see and hear us perform from the net. You have to love the internet. It's awesome. Take care.

PhryDom, good bit of lateral thinking there dude.....it'd be so unfamiliar to see a Favored Nations logo on the spine of a JS album, but it'd be great!

Delfino, dude I'm really diggin these renders of your "room"! Much respect to you amigo! Oh and I love the spilled bottle of whatever on the desk, haha....don't let it get in that printer, you'll have a virtual fire!

Hope you're havin a good night out.....just don't go dyeing your hair black in the shower....some cleaner might get pissed off for actually having to do her job ;-)

Move Over, Green Day — Velvet Revolver Plan Concept Album

Meanwhile, Scott Weiland is also eyeing another solo LP.

CULVER CITY, California — What Green Day waited seven albums to do Velvet Revolver are doing with their second.

That, of course, would be a concept album.

"It's something I've been wanting to do since the last STP album, since the Shangri-La Dee Da album [in 2001], and it never was completely realized," singer Scott Weiland (formerly of Stone Temple Pilots) said. "You never know until you really completely get there, but it's going in that direction right now."

Weiland refused to reveal any details about the concept but said he and his fellow VR members have been writing for months (see "Velvet Revolver Return To The Road In March, Write New LP In Transit").

"This album really has to make a statement," bassist Duff McKagan added. "We've toured for 18 months. Now we have a brand name. Now we know each other as a band. The first album was just us together at home, a spontaneous product. Now it's time to make that record."

Along with the follow-up to 2004's Contraband, Weiland is also working on the follow-up to his 1998 solo album, 12 Bar Blues (see "Scott Weiland Discusses New Record, Future Of STP"), for which he has 25 songs written.

Weiland intended to release the solo album a few years ago but joined Slash, McKagan, Matt Sorum and Dave Kushner in Velvet Revolver instead.

"I think I was looking really for a way out of doing drugs," Weiland recalled. "Then I kept on thinking the music [they were sending me] was getting better and better and finally I was just like, 'I think that there really might be a real contribution waiting to happen for rock and roll here. And I think if I join this I can really add something to this and make a real contribution.' "

There's no title or release date yet for either album, but McKagan said to expect a spring release for VR. In the meantime, the band is performing a New Year's Eve show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey.

"It's a tiny little club where people can hang from the rafters." McKagan said. "It's gonna be hot and sweaty and ferocious, but that's rock and roll."

This report is from MTV News.

Catching up since Saturday. Lordy time flies!

Marie Noelle: I hope to come back, I'd love to see the fields of Tulips.......a Photographers dream. It would be great to spend time with you & Huib again. It was so wonderful. My friends couldn't believe I didn't have some at the coffee shops, I said it's been years so why bother?! I don't enjoy it. Nuff said. More lethal then ever eh....Keep code name "Scotty" on Standby. LOL

Satriella: I agree, accidents mess with your mind. I only go out if I have to...another vehicle is on the way. Look out, here comes Rockzilla!! LOL Thanks for your concern. ;-))

Slans: I'll tell Santa that he should let one of his Reindeer have a Vacation in Barca...I know you'll take good care of her. ;-))

Michelle: My Dad came up with a brilliant idea.....they have 2 vehicles in Fla can do with 1 so they are going to ship his "Tank" aka "Rockzilla" up to me. It's going to cost $675 and I'll chip in for the Insurance. It's got all wheel drive and could probably run over Toshi.....lol. It's not going to arrive till next week & we are supposed to get snow mixed w/ rain tomorrow nite, you'll get a few inches...we aren't gonna get much I hope. fingers crossed!! Rockzilla is the perfect name, it's kinda a blonde/gold color like Dee Snyder. he-hee! Have you tried Lay's Dill Pickel Potato chips?!! They are the BOMB!! I don't buy em but I was looking for em & couldn't find em...go figure!!

SupaDave: Thanks Dave! I'm glad you didn't become one with a Semi either..it's so damn frightening. One of my worst driving experiences.....I've done a lot of driving. I didn't get my license until I was 18 I think, but I've done ALOT of driving......following bands on the East Coast and just traveling/Road trips...exploring the country. lol My accident record has been ZERO.....I've had people run into me tho.

Traci: Thanks sweetie! Hahaa I called it a tank and just read you suggested a tank too! **High Five** sister! LOL .....I was really scared. Toshi will STAY HOME in bad weather from now on if I can help it!! It was great talking to you the other night. I had 3 IM's going on....I knew I was going to mess up. :-O I really appreciated your thoughts on Love....hear, hear! Beautifully spoken. ;)

Ovation: I'm so glad we are both safe & sound. Thanks! It stressed me out all weekend. I just stayed home but had to go to the food store..that was it! lol I hope to see "Memoirs of a Geisha" next week, I've been waiting a few months for this to come out. I knew there was so much more to them than what I (we American's) knew. The Japanese culture is so complex & diverse but very grounded.... from what I know (which is very little). I'm looking forward to learning & understanding more of their wonderful Culture. History is so amazing......... I didn't care about learning when I was in school, now I find it fastinating! I'm so glad I didn't miss TSO...Thanks Chee, I can't wait!!

mari for next time you can nearly always do a ctrl-z to do an undo, even if the app you're using doesn't necessarily say it has an undo function... it's cos ctrl-c ctrl-v ctrl-x (cut) and ctrl-z are built into windows' clipboard fnuctionality... hth and sorry it's probably too late!
