Hello Joe...i am a french guitarist, so excuse me for my bad english. Above all things, i make a point of saying to you, you are my preferred guitarist and i still pain to learn your songs. But i am only 23 tears old, so i get the time...but not too nevertheless! I festivals my ten years of intensive training next march... Well, i am also in love with ibanez and i will like to buy a seven string...and i will want to know wich seven string model you use.Are the seven strings reliable? Thank you in advance and continue to make us hallucinate! Tibo fakosolisthead@hotmail.fr

Things on Bad Santa's To-Do List

16> Show the reindeer who's boss by hosting an annual all-you-can-eat venison feast.

15> Install new candy cane pole for the Private Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies.

14> Stop payment on the check to Salvation Army that was meant to cover the cash I borrowed from the kettle this year.

13> Out Rudolph.

12> Reminder: Don't order the pork chops during brunch with Hanukkah Harry and Ramadan Raheed.

11> William Hung "Little Drummer Boy" ringtones for everyone!

10> Piss off the Elf Union by moving the headquarters to St. Kitts and the assembly center to Mumbai.

9> Put my yule log in Angelina Jolie's chimney. Heh heh.

8> Deliver lots of sneezing chickens to those needy Third World brats.

7> Another Christmas at Oprah's, another midnight delivery of Little Debbies and Ipecac.

6> Crank call the Easter Bunny and ask if he has a problem with shit sticking to his fur.

5> Feed the reindeer their Ex-Lax in preparation for the annual White House fly-over.

4> Keep down that infernal racket by taping over holes in packages containing puppies and kittens.

3> Wrap a present, do a shot.

2> Stay trim by eating the cookies and milk, then barfing all over the floor. Hey, it works for Courteney Cox!

and Topfive.com's Number 1 Thing on Bad Santa's To-Do List...

1> Find the bastard who wrote "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" and beat him with a shovel.

Master Yoda- Maybe a day (not a Wednesday then) between Christmas and New Year would be the best bet e.g. 27th or 29th? It's such a hectic time of year...

Clarky- will you be able to get down to London for a beer (an early one instead of late?)

Mari- How are you? One more day of work tomorrow until the hols! :)

I just got done listening to "A day at the beach (Rays from an Ancient Sun) " On the Flyin' Almbum. Say, does anyone know what kind of effect, or what peddle Joe's Using to get that Sharp Mystical Delay that comes after the taps? The song is all taps right? It sounds like it anyway.

Guitarmeister: You ought to lighten up on your pick attack haah! I practice my guitar 2-3 hours a day, plus playing during lessons and band practice, and I've never broken a string ever. I still change my strings every week though, because I sweat acid haah! What gauge strings and what pick are you using?

PHRYDOM: Please resend me your address so I can send you a certain cd...wink wink.

Hi Joe...heya gang...

Wow, you really gotta keep up around here, huh? Life has kept me from checking in for a few weeks (right after I joined...figures, huh?), so other than catching up with Joe's posts, I just marked everything as read...and soon to join the fray.

The new band is coming along, even writing some stuff, though I think we have a bit of an identity crisis. Still need a bass player though...anybody in the Missouri Ozarks, we're in Lebanon...come on over and let's rock.

Hey Joe...speaking of the Ozarks, any plans to swing through in the near future? Missed your show in StL in '04, (still kicking myself over that one) but what about Springfield or even - gasp! - Branson?

Keniko Glad your band is comming along, good drummers are hard to find

Saw the jsx head unit in a shop in sydney , man it looks sweet, didnt get a chance to try one out,

Guitarmiester

I usually change my strings at least once every couple of months, but It really depends how often i play, and how hard I play.. Bass players are lucky but there strings cost more

String Breaking - I actually like the sound of the duller strings and therefore keep them on as long as possible. I break one about once a month. Could be any string too. Last Sat I broke the A. Always in the same spot too. Right on the trem saddle. What I normally do is take the broke little bit off., pull a little from on the tuning peg and retune. Wham bamm, back in biz. Anyway just my 2 cents
