cuthbert, aww thanks for all your input on the Huskies amigo! Much appreciated! I can't honestly see my mom ever getting convinced, but one day I will own one!

I've met a few people who've owbed different breeds and heard quite a variation of experiences on what it takes to look after them, but the exercise thing is something they all have in common! That's cool though, it'd keep me fit and I am surrounded by hundreds of miles of countryside which is good for walking dogs on!

Satriella, haha, no I haven't even slightly packed yet! I'll do all that on thursday! hehe. I think I've bought about all the clothing I need though! yeah this week is dragging, mainly 'cause by the end of it I will have taught a grand total of 3 students!

It sucks, I usually have ten times that! Grrrr, damn christmas, it's one big excuse for people to f*@k other people about :-(

mikesb...I'd love you to interview me to post on my site...I'd be honored...thanks for the offerI will surely take you up on it...!

I'm workin' on a substancial body of work to choose from for the next CD, and still yet to finish my Demo 1st...waiting for my chops to get up to speed...I've targeted Sprng to reap the sown efforts of my extensive practice.

Greg Howe told me he was very open to have you interview him. I gave him your contact info. Maybe, he was so busy working deals with John Suhr, and moving...it became low priority.

I've called him several times to see how he's doing, and he hasn't returned them yet. Now, that he's on the right track IMHO, I guess he'll be plenty busy with some very exciting things for the future. If I speak to him I will offer your info again, as I'm sure the publicity will aid in his cause.

Maybe, you can hook up with YJM again next time around?

Peace Out!

Still a page behind on post's...be back soon....

js1200js1000, aww you're not lame bro! There's nothing wrong about having to ask questions about stuff you don't know about! haha, I'm quite used to people asking (or not asking) questions and feeling stupid when they do - I have much more respect for someone who admits that they know f*ck-all about something and has to ask, than I do for someone who doesn't want to admit that they don't know what they're talking about so bullshits their way through everything!

Seriously dude, it's not a problem at all....time permitting, I'll always try and help if I can! Hope you have a groovy christmas and new year, talk to you next year! :-D

cuthbert, you legend! Thanks for the link buddy, it would have taken me forever to find that, not knowing where to start, and all! I'm going to drop a load of hints to my mom while we're out sledding on holiday....maybe when we're actually out with dogs she'll realise what wonderful animals huskies are!

hehe, in all seriousnes though, it's definitely something I'll do a lot of research into, and I'd have to pick the right time in my life to find a husky 'cause I'm not so sure my cat would be happy with the idea!

anybody interested in Nuno Bettencourt and Population 1? Well, the band have renamed themselves as Dramagods and their new album is now available from Japan!

International release hasn't happened yet, but UK fans should check out Revolution International where you can order a Japanese import CD.

SATRIELLA and STEVEET: Thank you both for taking time out to listen to my music and leaving such kind words. It really means alot to get positive feedback on my playing. I have no real aspirations to be a professional musician or anything, I just do it for fun in my spare time, but it makes me feel really good to know that something I played was able to touch someone emotionally. Thanks again for listening.

**Peace**

THE BOB: I've owned the JSX for about 6months or more now, so I can give you an honest appraisal of the tone....I LOVE IT hah! Let me sum it by saying clean channel=Fender twin headroom and sparkle with deluxe warmth......Crunch channel=Marshall JCM800 definition with added sustain, gain and warmth......Ultra=JCM800 with wayyyyy more gain, distortion on tap combined with the punch of a Mesa Rectifier. THe FX loop is very clean and warm and transparent, and the amp sounds amazing at low/high volumes. Here's the trick though, this amp is very sensitive, and it uses active EQ on the drive channels (traditional Marshalls use passive EQ) so it can get an extreme range of tones. THis means you can make it sound horrible if you set it up for the stock oldschool marshall tone (ie everythign on 10 haah). The EQ is very different.....the trebble knob=buzz grit(extreme high end freq)....the mids control the warmth and definition of the amp, as well as many of the mid high freq.....the presence does what you would expect a traditional trebble to do. So, here's my recommendations for trying it out: Set the mid on 5, the bass on 8, set the resonance on 0 and increase it gradually if they cabinet you are playing the head through sounds like it's stiff and needs smoothing out (my cab is a legtacy with warm, pushable Celestion greenbacks, so the resonance needs to be at 0 to keep the speakers from woofing out), set the presence on 0 and increase gradually if the amp sounds too muddy through the speakers, increase the trebble if the sound isn't gritty enough for you. If the mid freq sounds too tight, turn on the FAT switches (I leave mine on all the time). As far as the levals....do whatever you want with the gain, however, I would recommend maxing the master volume to push the power tubes, and set the preamp volum between 3-5...this is the sweet spot of the amp. I think the amp sounds warmer running it this way, as opposed to running the master lower and cranking the preamp volume. Anything over 5 on the preamp volume drives the preamp more, giving it more of a gritty distortion box into the front end vibe...not bad, just not my thing. I hope this helps. If you want to hear some JSX clips, go to www.stringtheoryorlando.com it's my band's website. I have a "Crazy Train" nock off clip that shows how the JSX sounds in the studio at its grittiest buzziest Randy Rhodes setting. Also check out the HFOB cover, it was recorded with the JSX in my normal crunch channel smooth/defined lead tone. Feel free to ask me any questions.

PFields...yes, Joe does use D'Addario...

js1200js1000....thank you very much...and..no I don't get tired of it...thanks!!

mthead101...thanks for recognizing that....it's all I've every REALLY wanted to do, as I use to be a Professional Musician...playing across this Nation, Caribbean & Europe...in places like the MGM Grand & in Atlantic City Resorts...then I had to give up music/the road - due to my first son being born in AC...doc said he had to come off the road or he'd need an operation...so that was a simple decision....

Thanks for listening!

KenCampbell...glad to be of support...sounds great... Please fill me in on what guitars & effects & recording gear you're using to achieve such a great sound? Looking forward to your excellent music....how'd ya meet Matt King?

Hi all,

peaceandguitars - you just HAD to tell me something! (note to self - don't trust peaceandguitars with your secrets!) I will be gettin peace and guitars for xmas cos I don't celebrate it. Peace - no relatives arguin, no one moaning about the present they hate, no havin to pretend I like something, no bills to pay. Guitars - time off works so I can actually spend time listening to my Satch albums....ahhh heaven!!!! But hey, have a good time whatever you are doing :) Well I don't know what you mean by "trog" days, but its another blast from my past, I still have a poem I wrote, years ago, while I was completely drugged out at Stonehenge 15 years ago called "I'm living in a land of Trogs" and my son's nickname was trog for a while, it's runroytroy now. There is black smoke on my horizon that is for sure 2006 is not gonna be a good year.

mthead101 - big slam-a-toucious hugs back at ya!!!

Zincmaster - OMG LMHO!!!! I've had cats and that is sooooo true and sooo funny hehehehehehehehe

Big Hugs to all Satriella x x
