Hi!
I just want to say hello to everyone and of course to Joe if he is reading this:) I hope the next album will be exotic and take us even further out in space for some new cosmic power and adventures in harmony and melodies. I am just sitting here in Norway and listening to "Is There Love In Space".
I must say I really love the three songs which comes after each other, they are:
nr6 : Is There Love In Space
nr7: If I Could Fly
nr8: The Souls Of Distortion
Great to put on the cd and play these songs after each other:)
I have been a fan since "Not Of This Earth" and been to every
Satriani concert in Oslo, Norway. Still Satriani is writing damn good songs and melodies. I am really excited for his next
album as always. My dream is that Satriani comes not only
to Oslo in Norway but also Bergen, the next largest city
in Norway. We have had some great concerts here in the
later years like Black Sabbath this summer and next summer
Rolling Stones will also come. So why not Satriani? :) If he
comes i will make shure the concert will be sold out.
An excellent X-mas to all Satriani aliens around the world!
Best regards from
Bjoern "b2"

banan...welcome to the site! Hvordan lang har De vært å leking guitar?
slanshroom...I've found technology is digested best one bite at a time...it does seem overwhelming for us Gitar pickers... lol...but with midi programming & all the wonderful things it offers us...now more than ever with tight tracking...the keyboardist's world is open to those who can temper they're patience for the possible HUGE result not previously accessible to we mere 6 stringers....
btw...Flyman's Knuckle...right up my creative palate, as well as your whole album...excellente'

R.I.P. Richard Pryor
LOS ANGELES - Richard Pryor, the caustic yet perceptive actor-comedian who lived dangerously close to the edge both on stage and off, died Saturday. He was 65.
Pryor died shortly before 8 a.m. of a heart attack after being taken to a hospital from his home in the San Fernando Valley, said his business manager, Karen Finch. He had been ill for years with multiple sclerosis, a degenerative disease of the nervous system.

Cheese101 - Ha Ha no wonder I have not found the time to bake those cookies in a few years. That was hilarious. I just got back from the store with the chips. This year I am gonna do it. By the way mine are the best. More brown sugar less white and real butter. Mrs. Fields sucks.

Richard Pryor died.....that sucks. I have a feeling that he's better off now considering all the suffering MS caused him. He was one funny Mo' Fo'....I miss him already. RIP

hey satchy whats goin my friend?
just wanted to ask u this question,
when u go live , playin live in front of all the audience , do u feel like just doin ur work? like just playin guitar simply as that ?
or u explore horizons by playing like its ur first time and giving ur best from the bottom of ur heart?
coz i really like to find out how true artists feel on stage
is it just a duty or a shared feeling?

Slansh: I'm interested in the midi technology. Let's say I get a midi setup that uses piezos in the bridge saddles to create the midid info (I've been told these are some of the most accurate systems) what type of interface (and how much) do I have to buy to be able to plug the guitar into a keyboard or computer to use it as the midi controller? It seems like the possibilities would be amazing!
