OCPS:Its actually scary the possibilitys at hand these days Chris, hard to know where to plant your cash

For a decent interface, your end, probably around 450 bucks for the GI-20, i,m not sure, i,ve been out the midi game for quite some time.Have y heard the VG-88 V2 or experimented with it?It doesnt sport a midi interface to control outboard gear but its a lot of fun, without the midi glitch hassle

On pickups

Another option http://www.edromanguitars.com/parts/rmc.htm, although the GK2A still gets my vote for 2 good reasons, you can adjust the distance from the saddle to the pickup & trust me, tonally, its worth t move it a little as in the case of the VG-88 plus i Iike to pick tight against the saddle to get less string flop when alternate picking so the bridge piezo like midi pickups or rmc are totally out the picture.I found the Gk2a to work perfect although i guess the others pick up string vibration better, i couldnt tell the difference myself, its down to your technique & what suits y better.

Drawbacks of the Roland pickups... Its annoying curve, they should make the pole pieces adjustable, but dont worry GK4 is round the corner, if they can think up kit like this, y can bet they are holding back on other simple ideas t sell. Hope this helps

Hello!!!

ahhh very sad about Richard Pryor, I love his films, funny stand up man too, will have to get all nostalgic and watch some of his stuff...see no evil, hear no evil is a classic.

peace&guitars - what!!! I say, u wot!!! 7 series - no way!!!! boon/baby thing naaaaa don't think so...there has to be something special about the baby otherwise why were the other side after it and what about that palmists reaction eh??

Cheese101 - funny old small world - my son, Troy goes on this cool site boreme.com, it has funny vids and one of them, we saw ages ago was this christmas lights show on this house (probably the same one you posted from that other site, didn't look) anyway when I first saw it I though cool music and its the same song that plays you in when you go onto the Trans-siberian site. have to check them out if they come to the UK. EDIT - just checked it out yep, that's the same video

slanshroom - Umm I'm not sure if you read the whole notice on the lion - it was a joke? (although I'm not sure if it may have been a real notice) found it on boreme.com

SteveeT - link to window Makers Highway hmmm need a few more listens, it's very different I think I like it!

TheBob - Welcome back, hope you were not offended about what I said on your other name, this one is definately cooler though.

Warm Hugs to all especially JOE

Satriella xx

Wish me luck

Tomorrow I have to present my Unreal Tournament level to my class...I finished it at the end of this week when I went through my course changing crisis (which I'm having a meeting about tomorrow). I've met the criteria I feel, but how well?...

I'm not looking forward to it...for anyone who has ever used UnrealEd you will know how shit it is and how tempramental it can be. Sometimes my bots work, sometimes they don't...which is exactly why I'm worried. I get marked on bots, terrain and objectives (as its an assault map) so the phrase "shitting a brick" comes to mind.

I have finished all my assignments now tho and I've in my 3D assignment where I had to make a 3D room I put Satch.com on the moniter :-)
