Stevee T: Thanks Steve, I also get inspiration from you and the T2J Fam when I hear your/their music and wisdom.... It helps me to become a better player, as well as help in lifes trials and tribulations.... Satchfolk ROCK! :-)

....lol on what Greg said, haha!.... He's a classy guy, and your lucky (and priviledged, lol) to know him.... BTW, if you get a chance, you should check out the 2 albums he made with Kotzen: Tilt and Project.... I like Project better as it was their 2nd go around, and they complement each other so well.... Greg smoked Kotzen on these IMO, lol, but Richie has got the soul, funk and groove to make up for it.... Great stuff....

Quote Kotzen: Making these records with Greg is always a musical challenge.... lol, and thats an understatement!!....

L8ta peeps, time for round 2 this evening!! :-)

Satriella

Its well easy 2 link and bold etc . eg say i wanted 2 link google i wud do this (just replace the < , > for [ and ] )-

Bold is easy jus do this before wot u wonna say then end with

Italic is jus the same but with ' i ' instead of ' b '

quote is the same but u hav 2 write the word quote instead of jus letters .

enjoy ...

Well this new year has started just as well as the last one, my aunt is back in hospital with cancer after conquering breast cancer (which she was diagnosed with New Years Eve 2004) she now has bone cancer...It's like she can't get a break.

Anywayz, I hope everyone has a great new year and they do something this year they'd never usually do (in a good way).

Has anyone made any new years resolutions?

I think mines going to be less of an ass hole to certain people lol...Have more balls and finally ask out the girl I like and probably cut down on drinking...or cut down on buying drinks, so everyone else can buy them for me.

Here,s a good one for yeah satch and Sly will remeber this well where my old man come,s from over in sicily and it happens in the rest of Italy as well there called changers man it,s were when use your body together you change into a much greater stronger different looking person man this is true man so becuz my old man came from change and ireland and italy use the same flag right the i rish guverenment kept him from being questioned unlike the rest of the changer when they changed people thought they were something scary or maybe harmfull and the only way it could change would be use in war of some type so they would be questioned man anyways yr,s before my dad came to canada he made a deal with the irish guvermnment to marry and have a changer which is on irish paper you were to be born Rambo buscema when for change then my old man also told and made a deal with them that he would use one that has deveoped and eveolved from change to make the movies rambo so the changer,s and the one,s that dont change could watch and therfore his son could watch what the evolved look,s like and know and see what he would resemble when he changes only improve his speed ,and skill much greater when i was young and my old man was filming all the rambo,s with sly i would call sly and say your getting paid now and your getting paid from my changer money as well man he would then give me a little cash knowing my old man was really behind it all kept secret for irish guvernment purposes man but i cant wait for rocky 6 man that was one of the last times i made it change my self without war man sly has to go over the movie and put in his distinguishing sly features is the truth man , i remeber when i was younger and it use to change in to rambo youlle remeber this and so will donny when i do garbage drive the garbage truck looking like rambo 2 or 3 kill all the mouth and etc problems and throw them in the garbage truck of course the owner takes his custom made hunting knife and a machine gun with him man i did garbag eone day just in Frank mode as well went to see donny thre his in the back to the dump they went man later wolf2. Grabage truck in a few yr,s maybe i already know of one pig whos probably going in it later wolf2.

....Compai SatchLand!.... My fam & the b.i.l. fam had a great time tonite with the kids running around while we polished off a couple of bottles of fine champagne!!.... And our m.i.l. was there too, she just had a hip op., and for those of you who remember, she's doing fine from her 2'nd pre-aneurism op.... She will be fine, just needs the rehibili. on the hip.... It was a great nite, and now I share it with you guys over a can of bud, lol!! ;-)

Stevee T...Happy New Year man, hope all is nice n dandy with u...best of blessings for the coming year... I have a question for u...ive just sent my JS Special Wh<Autographed edition> to my luthier to change the volume to high pass n coil tap on the tone pot...After i got it back it didnt sound as i expected...the singe coils were just thinner but still same character of sound ...i requested that the pickups set exactly like JS1000/1200...He said needed to flip the pickups to avoid hum cancel...is it true?i was expecting something bit fender'ey...Im curious if its possible that he may change the content of the pickup but leave the outside looking like original...id appreciate if u can gv me a confirmation on this.....thx man

Anyone else who has an opinion pls let me know....

Michelle...thx for the reply.bless your new year too..

ovation 1...every time I see your name for some strange reason I think of the Air Base in Karate Kid...nutty I know...lol Hope your MIL is doin fine!

JoSzWa...Happy New Year...funny you should ask...I've spoken to my Luthier about the same process to my 91'WH JS1 HSH, and I believe the key is the high pass capacitor that is added with the Push-Pull volume pot. As you may know, I also own as JS10th Chromeboy & the new JS2 PRM that have the Push-Pull Volume Pot & High Pass Filter, and the result of backing off/lowering the volume knob when it's pulled results in a cleaner, less overdriven sounded. Depending on the amp/effects set up you've currently used. Did your Luthier include the High Pass Capacitor? If not, you'll need to check the technical specs for the capacitor in the Ibanez site to ensure the correct one is being used. Hope I've been some help. One last word, IMHO the Push-Pull/High Pass filter combo encorporated into the volume pot of guitar GREATLY increases the tonal arsenal available to a player! The JS2 PRM is absolutey one of the most versatile, great sounding guitars I've ever owned or played..it's replaced my life long friend =Gibson Les Paul Custom, and I never thought that could happen. Thanks Joe for such a wonderful instrument!!

If you listen to this Christmas Song I did you can hear how versitile the JS2 PRM is...the Volume/High Pass filter is engaged in this

Christmas Song

Joe Satriani, nice add in this month's issue of Guitar Player!!
