Andrew in Nebraska interesting questions! Forgive me for putting in my coupla cents... you mentioned the tritone sounding horrible... I don't think that's the way the "average ear" feels, after all the flattened 5th is so embedded in blues music it's pretty much accepted, even expected, and (altering perspective a little) the sharpened fourth that is the lydian mode is perhaps a slight twist on the ear, but people seem to love tracks like FIABD and (SV's) The Riddle...
Zinc interesting site, but i don't register for things like that... hell I even refuse to register at soundclick lol
Blue Moon and Dave Wren email me if you need help with PowerTab, if you see what I mean...
Farting Little Guy good to see you back! So you have played the original 1984 Kramer 5150 guitar?!?! Lucky f*****r!!!!!!
Al nice setup AND image! you might want to remove those misplaced apostrophes though... you know how i hate them lol
later peeps... work's getting busier by the hour and f**k knows i need my beauty sleep! zzzzzzzzzz

it's so friggin cold here right now, im almost entertaining that continental drift sped up and took manila to the upper latitudes...

do any of you guys know how to "properly" paint a guitar with only spray cans? i'm already so used to seeing so much red on my guitar that i really want to re-do the paint myself... any advice on how to achieve that factory kind of finish?

I was hoping to get my ibanez today, but apparently its still on order. However, the shop have very kindly let my try a Schecter 7-string (not sure which model yet as its still at the shop with my parents) which is worth more and has seymour duncan pickups...they said if I like it then I can have it without having to pay the extra costs...if I don't like it then phone them up and tell them....I THINK its the Schecter 007 Elite in Black Cherry cos thats the colour the guy said over the phone and its the only one on their site I could find thats available in black cherry.

It looks the bollox, but obviously I'm gonna test play it when it gets here lol.

This is most likely going to be my last post before Christmas, so Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everybody!!! Take care!!!

Suzie - OK, cool!! What time? If something comes up then I'll let you know ASAP...

Clarky - lol... Sorry I wasn't very chatty yesterday, dude; I was out walking with family, our dog (which got attacked by some Chav's dog. He wasn't strong enough to control his Staffordshire Bull Terrier...), and my girlfriend. I'll call you at some point over the next few days and we can catch up properly.

Signs Your Sex Ed Teacher Has Never Had Relations

9> "The dirty, sinful, nasty thing" isn't a term from the textbook.

8> His advice for avoiding teen pregnancy? "If you see a stork, run!"

7> She goes to Anne Rice conventions, her dream is to touch Fabio's pectorals, and she has more cats than names in her address book.

6> Refers to all sex organs as "the hoo-ha."

5> "But we're not birds or bees, so we don't do that... that... thing!"

4> Keeps trying to plug film projector into wrong end of extension cord.

3> She tends to say "theoretically" and "according to researchers" a lot in her lectures.

2> All the diagrams she uses seem to have been torn from the owner's manual of a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle.

and the Number 1 Sign Your Sex Ed Teacher Has Never Had Sex...

1> "Now this is a picture of the male genit-- OH DEAR GOD!"

Homeland Security Christmas Cards

5> Two lists we seek this Christmas Day, one Naughty and one Nice. So hand them over now, Fat Boy -- we won't ask you twice.

4> May your holiday season be filled with all the joys and pleasures you find dear. Which, according to your web-surfing history, includes Honduran cigars, Coca Cola collectibles, naked Asian girls and vibrating butt-plugs.

3> In the meadow, we will build a snowman. We'll pretend his skin and beard are brown. We'll say, "You al Qaeda?" He'll say, "No, man!" But just in case, we'll haul his ass downtown.

2> We see you when you're sleeping. We know when you're awake. We like you in that nightie but we know those boobs are fake!

and the Number 1 Homeland Security Christmas Card...

1> A child was born on Christmas Day. Despite the "savior" hype, we've searched the manger twice 'cause he's a Middle-Eastern type.

MEDICAL INSURANCE EXPLAINED (Research done by the AARP Legal Department)

Q. What does HMO stand for?

A. This is actually a variation of the phrase, "HEY MOE." Its roots go back to a concept pioneered by Moe of the Three Stooges, who discovered that a patient could be made to forget the pain in his foot if he was poked hard enough in the eye.

---------------------------------------------

Q. I just joined an HMO. How difficult will it be to choose the doctor I want?

A. Just slightly more difficult than choosing your parents. Your insurer will provide you with a book listing all the doctors in the plan. The doctors basically fall into two categories--those who are no longer accepting new patients, and those who will see you but are no longer participating in the plan. But don't worry, the remaining doctor who is still in the plan and accepting new patients has an office just a half-day's drive away and a diploma from a third world country.

---------------------------------------------

Q. Do all diagnostic procedures require pre-certification?

A. No. Only those you need.

---------------------------------------------

Q. Can I get coverage for my preexisting conditions?

A. Certainly, as long as they don't require any treatment.

---------------------------------------------

Q What happens if I want to try alternative forms of medicine? A. You'll need to find alternative forms of payment.

---------------------------------------------

Q. My pharmacy plan only covers generic drugs, but I need the name brand. I tried the generic medication, but it gave me a stomach ache. What should I do?

A. Poke yourself in the eye.

---------------------------------------------

Q. What if I'm away from home and I get sick?

A. You really shouldn't do that.

---------------------------------------------

Q. I think I need to see a specialist, but my doctor insists he can handle my problem. Can a general practitioner really perform a heart transplant right in his/her office?

A. Hard to say, but considering that all your risking is the $20 co-payment, there's no harm in giving it a shot.

---------------------------------------------

Q. Will health care be different in the next century?

A. No, but if you call right now, you might get an appointment by then.
