Guitarmiester: Sorry to have missed you & that you missed all the Great Talent that played last night at the Stone Pony!! Angel Vivalidi and Matt's technical difficulties were the only disappointment of the night. Seems Angel thinks if you can play lots of notes really fast that makes you great. Sorry, he is mistaken. He needs to read Mikesb's interview with Dave Martone to learn about shredding & music. I did. Matt's tech problems were beyond his control but they had them resolved during the 2nd song. I was busy getting some great shots of Matt so I wasn't giving 100% to the sound.....I was in sync with Matt's playing & I got some great images of him. I've been able to get in sync with Vai & JOe, having seen them
several times helps. You get to know the feel of the music & their expressions.......with Matt it just clicked. Really. I was able to anticipate his expressions, the connection was what I hope to achieve with JOe & Steve. It was there with Matt, just incredible!! I look forward to seeing Matt & the other Guitarists from "The Lord Of The Strings" very soon! They ROCK!!
Ovation: I have 2 of Nuno's "Mourning Widow's CD's...how bout that?! Jeff (EJ) emailed me back today, EC is having his CrossRoad's Festival this year just as I thought!! He asked EJ back & he asked SV back in '04....I want to be there to capture the Moments!! I need to work on a plan. I know I can photograph SV & maybe EJ no problem but this is 3 days & so much bigger than them.......I have to work on a plan.
Any suggestions would be helpful.....Thanks!!

Just want to say that Angel Vivaldi is Very Talented! However his song's were the weakest of the night due to lack of Melody and Tone....I didn't like his tone. He has great chops but it takes more than that to be a great musician...... that's why JOe, SV & EJ are SO Special........it's a feeling / expression that you are able to express with the guitar& music that tranforms the listeners mind / soul to another level or place...... That my friends is a very special gift, Matt King has it and so do the other 3 guys & thier bands. Kick ass Girl Bass player in 1 Band & kickin everyone's ASS a girl Drumer in Rob Balducci (Fav Nation's label) Band!! Great, Great music!!
" You gotta Move, you gotta move.....get ready.....you gotta move".......Aerosmith. "Honkin On Bobo" Blues album. Great feeling, great Blues!.....Oh Yeah!!

Don't forget that it has a 9 volt battery in the control cavity that will need periodic replacement......JOE: Good to know you're out there creating new stuff for us all very soon to hear. Keep at it, we LOVE this stuff. Patrick went to LA to check out G.I.T. and has an old music instruction book I have from Howard Roberts......I had looked into goint to G.I.T. back in the 80's and still had the original catalog. His (Patrick) Concord (guitar)teacher went there also. Rock on T2J, Hi Matt, Mark, Suzzie, Stevee,Mike........

Hey Joe, do yourself a favour for your next trip down under and check out Tommy Emmanuel. One of Oz's finest citizens and guitarists. Arguably none better in our little country....I'm pretty sure that you would love his music (and talent)
Cheers

HI Joe and fellow guitarists,
Great job with your G3 tours......just one thing. I do have all G3 tour DVD's, but I noticed in all of them that in the jamming, always one guitar isn't as loud as the others. In the DVD with Eric, Steve's signal was not to clear to hear; in the DVD with Yngwie, his guitar it was hard to hear; and in the DVD with John, it was his guitar. I bet you all heard each other guitars in those jams, but on the recording for the DVD's, one signal isn't as loud as the other two guitars. Just something you perhaps like to check in the future tours. I don't know if anyone here has experienced the same in the G3 DVD's(?).
Best Regards,
Pedro.

Hi Sweeties,
js1200js1000 - I can see why you want to get back to your toys, what's the point of having them all if your miles away and can't use them. Roll on February. About your girl....Sorry if I offended, I was on a silly roll, I am sure Joe will grow on her. And any woman with an ounce of sense would do all she could to keep hold of a lovely fella like you, so in reality I am sure your relationship will last, there are not that many good ones out there!!
Ovation1 - I'm sure you would take notice if a woman had sideburns like that!!! lol
peaceandguitars - the tail section.....old news! That thing is amazing though..on the lost website mysteries they have slowed it right down and it's incredible
cuthbert1776 - oooooooh I see, I'm sure I was the only person on here not to know that about 1776. Personally I look forward to when that will be the case for the whole world, not just america. with regard to the computer, my son is doing his mock exams at the moment and will soon be taking his exams proper, but he has a habit of staying up till four on the computer...it needs to be stopped for a while. I will have a look at the sites later thank you so much for your help.
Off to work I go...
L8r peeps big hugs Satriella xx

perezpedro - i think i know about whatyou mean about one signal being weaker than the other two.. i don't have every G3 there is, just the 96 and 03... i think the idea behind it is 1 guitar comes out of the left channel, then the other comes out the right, and the last is equalized in the mid.... just an idea though and i think it's true for the G3 96 thingy...

mikesb, that's pretty cool, thanks for sharing that. I really should read more of what's on Andy's site. I remember looking at the biography page and thinking "yeah, I'll come back and read that" and never got round to it!
cuthbert, going out and getting blind-drunk wasn't quite what I was thinking of, but thanks anyway! haha. NUVO is a cool site, wish there were more websites like that. It's so straightforward and sensibly laid out! The Musicians Bulletin Board is cool!
Satriella, thankyou, hug accepted and much appreciated! Big hug back at you! And thanks, it's just post-holiday blues really.....coming back from a holiday is always a clear reminder to me of all the things that p*ss me off about living in the UK!
Delfino, I know you said you're not really interested in videogame modelling, but Bizarre Creations are looking for new modellers! If you ask me, they need some new game concept designers or general managers or something, 'cause PGR3 is a massive let-down! But anyway, even though you should get your degree and do what you want to do, I just had to share it! hehe. Hope you're cool bro.....how's your aunt, if you don't mind me asking?
js1200js1000, hahaha, I'm sorry man.....if....if I can....ever....make it up to you man....I...I swear....I'll....I'll do anything man! hehe
marimariSRV, as far as I know the Crossroads festival is right in the middle of the peak season for flying so it would be super-expensive, but I'll let you know nearer the time!
As for NAMM, are you going again this year?! Awesome, make sure you hook up with Andy and Nuno, I'm sure they'll both be there. Nuno has new guitars to promote for Washburn so he'll probably be pretty obvious!
I've just got his month's Favored Nations newsletter.....can anyone tell me anything about Vernon Reid? Any good?
fizz450_03, I'm not sure I understand your Strat question.....are you saying the trem was removed and replaced with a fixed bridge?
And yeah, Trail Of Tears is addictive......it's amazing to hear the older stuff being played live on the Austin City Limits show, especially the vocal tracks!
Do you have Electromagnets? If not, you really should get it, you'll be amazed! It's EJ's first CD which came before any of his solo stuff. It's so good, and there's two live recordings on it which are just jaw-dropping!

matt king...good to hear from you...any albums to offer us, o rnew tunes on your site?
Zenfish...I suppose in a round about way, I mean life is what you make it....*)8.)
962..the cult of personality...not bad...if you like that kinda thing...
fizz...I think the trem needs to be just slightly above level...but I locked down my fender with a trem for more sustain...maybe some other peeps have some Fender Trem experience...? It's kinda of a complex equation (spring qty vs. spring tension vs string gauge) A knowledgable Guitar Tech/Luthier could fix it in 10-15 minutes or so! There are some sites that should be able to walk you through if you daring....lol
