Hello Joe and web site fans,

I am a fan since 1990, Flying in a Blue Dream, much before the time of the Internet.

From your DVD discs, G3 Live in Denver and Live in Tokyo, with Steve Vai, Yngwie, and John Petrucci, I enjoyed the cover songs almost as much as the artists' individual material. So, I'm tossing this ideal out to see what happens...

Would you be interested in creating an album of cover songs perhaps by suggestion from your fans, as well of course, as songs for which you feel inspired? Such a cover song album could be comprised of suggested tunes as votes from your fan base. (e.g. Crazy Train, Run Like Hell, ...something from the Allman Brothers Band...)

Another idea offered by a buddy of mine who shares my appreciation for your guitar art suggested what with the 30th year anniversary of the Pink Floyd Animals album coming up in 2007, you might have an interest in covering one of those songs or even perform with David Gilmour and/or Roger Water for a fantastic G3 show or album or something!! Hell, I'd pay good money for that, for sure! Certainly, we understand that you require permission and such as far as legal and diplomatic formalities are concerned.

All the best in 2006 and we certainly look forward to seeing you back in Montreal, Quebec very soon.

In light, good health, and serious guitar playing, Jacqo

Thanks! I have tried both ways. I have always played with my fingers tucked but I still have problems with trem picking or playing a scale quicky and hitting every note.
Its annoying! I don't like muddy playing so I'll keep trying.

I have a question about the JS100 I have. It has "STEVE VAI" in the 21st fret inlay instead of "JOE SATRIANI". Is there a reason for this?

Here's a pic: http://kcmsterpce.com/pics/JS100-nameplate.jpg

Satriella, hi! Mark (bahduh) is recovering from a shoulder problem, nothing serious fortunately! He will be back soon, thanks for your concern :-)

962, hi Simon! Nice to see you too :-) I saw your pictures in Los Alpes, they are great (as usual). Your eye has caught the beauty of the mountains and the huskys! I particularly liked the first picture, Slayker is just gorgeous! It must have been a fantastic trip. Thanks for sharing & keep them coming!

bahduh, happy birthday! May you see many more!

KcMsterpce, it seems it's an error guitar...really strange LOL

Hey all, what's shakin'?

death cube K - Awesome stuff, man!! I left you a blurb on your message board and sent you an email about swapping links. Let me know, man!

Satriella - You're absolutely right about that. People here actually respond, as opposed to other boards I've been on. You guys are the coolest!

OME - Diggin' the tunes, bro... I sent a friend request to you on MySpace. Let me know if you want to swap links.

Stevee T - You have a website, man? Would love to check it out.

Rob310...very rarely do I sit down with a specific type of song in mind when writing...I let it come to me...open my mind, and have fun with my current mood....being true to ones feeling's helps me not to have to untangle things later...:)

Zenfish...so it's more scientific then...? Thanks for your clarity of vision & audio acuity...!

Satriella...you're a great gal you are! >0jo<

DCSlater....here's some new tunes, most of which aren't on my site www.stevetrott.com...thanks for asking!

Harvest Ice, Mystical March, Le Gato, Winter Migration, Chromeboy And The Lava Lamp, Flyin' In A Blue Dream Jam Tribute, Butterscotch Blonde Blues in B flat minor, Purple Sky Green Dawn, Song Forgotten

Good Morning Satchland..... Top Of The Morning To Ya ! ! ! !

Kayla...... Hello sweetie.... I rubbed my eyes twice and looked again and sure enough it's true. Our Kayla is in a band. That's fantastic. Give me the details. How many players, type of music, etc. Hugs.

SteveeT.... What up bud? Wahtcha ben' workin' on?

DC Slater..... Thanks for your comments. I appreciate it a lot. Thanks for signing our guest book. I hope poeple visit your site from your link there. I Love your music. Good Luck To You and let us know when your CD is available. Take care.

LucySorets..... How are you? hope the stress level is below normal. What's up with Bahduh? How'd he injure his shoulder? Hugs.

peaceandguitars...... Thanks alot for your comments. I got lucky with my site. My son Sean designed and created it for me. My site would cost around $2500 to make and not really in my or any bands budget. Sean is a great artist also. Check out his mural of Surfing With The Alien in the fans art page here at Joe's site. He drew and painted this for our 25th wedding anniversary and is one of the walls in my studio. SWTA is Sean's fav Satch tune also. You can't help but think of Joe and his music when your in the room. My band rehearses there and the guys always comment on the mural. As far as the band for T2J? If there's a T2J3.....I'm definetly going to submitt a tune. I missed the deadline for T2J2 and shame on me. I was really disappointed and it was my fault. Oh well...can't wait to here the new T2J2 cd. It's going to Rock ! ! ! Thanks again.....It means a lot to me. Take care.

Satriella...... I love your forum name. It's awesome. I always smile and smirk when I see the name. Anyway, Thanks for your comments. I've ben' busy lately with the band. Also we had two family misfortunes at once. In a nut shell..... My son's Sean and Aaron lost a friend to a car accident and the day of the wake Sean had to put his cat " Vision " down. I miss that little shit so much. Vision got the best of me and thats OK cause I loved him so much. We all did. So I sorta whent into Hybernation for awhile. I know now how attached one can get to animals. I stated a line in my pain that I'm going to use in a song for him. " Love is a beautiful thing....but it has it's pain" That pretty much sums it up for me. How true that is though. Anyway on a brighter note my band is doing great and we're getting booked slowly but we're getting booked and I couldn't be happier. Thake care, Hugs.

Aussie...... Sorry to hear about your Mum. You're a good man. Keep the faith Bro. Take care.

jacqo....Welcome to the site.... Nice ideas. I could see Gilmore on G3.

Zinc...... Nice joke. I Love it. I'm counting my hares now.....lol.....

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! !
