Hi guys, I am new around. But hey u all appear very friendly. Hey i am glad joe talks. Congratulation to the Guy who just found out he is going to be a father. Way to go dude. Yeah , like u guys I am really impressed by joe and his music. Last time Joe played in England was in 2003 in newcastle City Hall. Lol i remember it being in the news lol and joes interview being on BBC website. But the sad thing is that even though i lived in the very town at that time i had no idea how good his music is. Now i am just waiting for next time he comes here. Lol that brings me to my polite question to joe or anyone who knows for that matter. Joe when are u planning on touring UK next? How about a G3 tour in uk? It will be huge. And oh please please please tour cardiff....not that i wouldn't go anywhere u tour in uk. Anyway to all, take care and nice meeting u all

Ps:- Does anybody know of any Ibanez dealers in Cardiff, wales ???

GUitarmeiter: The 6505 is the 5150......Eddied left Peavey and took the name of the amp with him. As far as I know, it's the same amp, unless they tinkered with something.

OCPS-Yeah, it's the same amp.Kinda funny the way that works, eh?

Also, the delay trick Nuno uses on FOTWBB is approx.222 ms according to google.Single repeat

.I have heard that it is possible to do that tune with no delay tricks...

Hey Joe, I became a huge fan of your music about 8 months ago and I've been listening to your music on a daily basis now. To make a long story short, YOU ROCK! I am also going to college online for Multimedia and Web design. The class that I am in right now, is an Interactive authoring class and my final project is going to be an educational cdrom for elementary aged kids on the Solar system. I think that your music would be an awesome addition to my project and I would love to be able to use one of your songs such as "Flying in a Blue Dream" (or whatever you think would be good) as background music for the project. I plan to use this piece as a portfolio piece but feel I need to get your permission first. So my question to you is this: May I use your song "Flying in a Blue Dream" or another song for my project? If permission is granted, your name will definitely be labeled on my project in whatever way you would like. I did email you about this as well and hope that you will email me back soon as my project is due on February 14th. Thanks again Joe. Tanya

Joe please take a listen to some of my songs that I have done up on Soundclick. One of them was sort of influenced by Tears in the Rain, although tonally it sounds very modal and awkward, but I like it. Turn up the volume though cause my recording software is terrible, im a poor lad at the moment cause I have to save for college.

Hi friends on T2J,

SEARCHING FOR WAR - Hello and welcome to the site but CHANGE YOUR NAME! this is a peaceful place...yeah change it to searching for peace...searching for Satch...searching for someone to talk to....whatever...pleeeeeaaaassse :)

the_beatrix_kiddo - welcome to you too...I bet your kicking yourself..being in the same town that Joe came to..well here's hoping he comes again so that an injustice is put to rights

js1200js1000 - EH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't be silly! or course you didn't offend me, I can't understand how you read that wrong???? I was saying a mega big thank you to you for your kindness, in that you read my posts, think of me and post me back...you couldn't offend anyone if you tried...hugs muchly eh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

962 - What...i say what...you met him in person...wow and boo hoo for me, but one day...one day i tell you that dream will come true too...well I say meet him in person...what I really mean is I'll go and see him at a concert and I will just about make him out cos I'll probably be at the back of the place cos I'll be lettin everyone else in first hehe

keniko - thanks for the tip. I will give it a try one day.

SteveeT - thanks for the explanation...adverts they do have a big effect on us don't they, there hve been some classics I have to say..have you seen the updated singing in the rain one..that's pretty awesome...my son was showing me a couple of sites of the blokie who did the dancing he's weird.

js1200js1000, haha, cool man, that all sounds good! I'm not sure I'll be putting tab for 'Devil's Slide" in, hehehe.

I've so far done some detailed description of intervals, which will help with understanding scales and arpeggios, and also help understand the formation of complex chords - ie. major 9ths, suspended 4ths, dominant 7ths, all that kind of thing!

Ethn Hyabusa, hey good to see your name again bro! Thanks for filling in the gap on the question about Nuno's delay setting for Flight'.

Yeah, some guy once tabbed it out for a magazine and wrote the whole thing without using delay.....what a nutter! Nuno was very impressed, of course, but the version that got oficially released for books and stuff was the one with the delay swicthed well and truly ON! :-)

vptanya, welcome to t2j! That sounds like a really cool idea for your project - having Joe's music as the theme for an educational CD on the solar system is such a good idea! His slow stuff would be especially well suited, I think - Time, Bamboo and The Forgotten (Part II) all instantly spring to mind!
Satriella, yeah I was lucky enough to win two aftershow passes for the G3 concert at the Royal Albert Hall in summer '04. I actually won them from Vai's site, but spent most of my time talking to Joe, Jeff Campitelli and Billy Sheehan. They are the three coolest guys I've ever met! haha

Hey I got your mail asking whether or not I got the earlier mail you sent, but I got it after I had replied to the earlier mail......did you get my reply last night? I hope so! I'm still confused about the two phone numbers ;-)

Well you know James and how he is, lol. everyone thought it would be cool to get together and try something so who knows. So thought I would ask you on what your thoughts on this would be.

To every one that reads this, this is something that a few people got together and talked about nothing more!!!!! So let's please keep it that way ok? Thanks

Hey Joe

I practise 3 to 4 hours a day, and want to know whats the best exercise for getting your hand to stretch large chords. I find when stretching my wrist gets really sore, I normally keep playing with the pain, is this normal or am I doing something wrong.

Cheers Andre Marshall

Hi Joe. I have watched the G3 Live in Tokyo and it was great. I liked your sound, the way you do your amp sound setting. Nice things dangling off your guitar strap. The Peavey JSX was cool. Anyways, would you be doing a tour in Malaysia? or even with the G3 gang? It would be excellent if there's going to be one in Malaysia. Hope to hear from you via 'talk to Joe', thanks a lot.

What a jacked up week. My sister-in-law is a nut job. We started talking about deisel engines and the environmental effects they have and 5 minutes later I'm EVIL and a lying prick. BIZZARRRRR!! My wife is like "What the F^*&k just happened?" So, the S-i-L is moving out because she can't live in the same house with me and be the best person she can be. Whatever. All because we have different commitment level with regards to the Earth. So, that happens and I also get a call from our guitar player that he has accepted a job in Connecticut. For those that don't know that is on the east caoast of the US, Portland is on west. So... we are aaagghh-ditioning another guitarist today. I hope it goes good. I just want to play out!! Sorry to vent poeple, but it needed to happen. Anyway , being the optimost that I am next week looks much better. Addition by subrtraction.

Here's to a good rehearsal!!
