Okay...I read through posts from the past two days or so. It's cool that, even though I've been more or less away from the site for a year, T2J is still the same awesome place. It's also a bit weird that after being gone for a year I still have a few hundred posts more than some other regulars, but that's something else entirely...hehehe. ;-)

Is there any big Satch news I'm missing out on? I've heard the Nascar music, I know the new album should be out around 3/14, and Joe will be hitting the road with Eric Johnson. Is there anything else...?

Hey Joe, Hows it goin dude. I checked out a webcast video of you playing in CA last year. It was so cool. Ive been playing for 6 years, am 19 years old and just getting familiar with the Lydian, Miloxidyian and the pitch axis tips i found on the web off you. You inspired me to record my own version of the American National anthem even though i am Irish and live in the UK!! Hows that! I let my cousin in NJ hear it, he's a professional photographer and commentator and he said if i went to the sates he'd get me to play it at a minor league baseball game. That would be the most amazing experience of my life. I saw you on the video after you nailed it at the Mets/Giants game and you said 'That was cool!'. One question for you Joe. I practice about 2 hours a day, im a student aswell so it's hard to always find time. Is it better to sit down and learn the Dorian, Lydian, Phyrgian, Miloxidyian etc or is there a better way to go about learning the sclaes that have helped you become so succesful? Thanks buddy. Would be a dream come true to hear from you. Chris.

njbeast - I think it's more correct to say that you have a "first pressing" of Dreaming #11. An album may go on to sell several million copies, but record companies usually don't print more than a few hundred thousand (or maybe one million) copies at first. If those first copies sell well, then they print more.

With Dreaming #11, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that the number they printed at first was only a few thousand. I'd imagine that entire first run has the inscription on it. I know Led Zeppelin did stuff like that with some of their records.

Sometimes other things change after the first edition (new cover art, corrected typos, etc.). It makes the originals very popular collector's items, as you can imagine.

Stevee T - Clark Kent? I look a bit dorky, but I'm not THAT bad...am I? ;-) And it'd be cool to turn into SuperStu or something like that, but I don't think I have any special powers. Oh well.
marimariSRV - No, I wasn't able to make it to NAMM this year. I wouldn't've been able to get in anway. If you come out for the convention next year, be sure to drop me a line so we can meet up for lunch or something again.
cheese101 - No, I won't be making it to the San Francisco DT gig. I'm seeing them in Los Angeles the night before, though.

The trip to New York is sort of a belated (very belated...almost two years late) 21st birthday present from my parents. They said they'd take me on a trip somewhere...wherever I wanted to go. New York is an awesome city and Dream Theater is an awesome band, so it makes sense. ;-) And the fact that the show will be recorded for a CD/DVD makes it even better...

I would consider making a trip up north for a Satriani / EJ show, if my work and school schedules allow it. I'll let you know...

bluebuffalo - Cool...where are you working / what do you do?

Well here we go again...I did all this at 1.00am last night...the I hit something just as I'd got to the end and lost the lot grrrrr

Hi Joe,

Someone mentioned a solo acoustic album...hmmm fancy that idea...we do!!! Everyone is a winner...you don't have lots of equipment to set up...you will already know all the songs so I'm sure it wouldn't actually take that long and we get another fab album from you...hmmm what would be your favourite tune to play acoustically?

I was also just reading an interview of yours where you said that your favourite student is your son....how's he doing? Can he play any of your stuff?

Also glad to hear you have Green Day on your ipod..I love em too American Idiot and Dookie are great albums!

Big Hugs to you Satriella xx

that's not all...I wouldn't be annoyed about losing that here is the rest...

My full list of ALL of Joe's stuff as the best still stands cos you can't really say one is better than another..but here are some that I just like alot..well kinda my favourites

1. Always with me, Always with you
2. I Believe
3. You Saved my Life
4. What Breaks A Heart
5. The Phone Call
6. Rubina's Blue Sky Happiness

So there you go...I'm just a big soppy softie really aren't I

962 - "Give me that phone...I gotta talk to you baby" well if Joe can do a phone call so can you...I'd love to hear Hill Groove over the phone...so call me!

Do the Stu - Woohoo indeed, you must be on quite a high with all that new stuff going on...you will have to give us an update on how the job's going...what do you actually do there? Last semester eh are you glad or sad? And a new apartment cool for you!

njbeast - Sounded ace eh...modesty that's what I like about you...hehehe :) Seriously have a good rock out 2nite and stay safe urself....

I can imagine the scene now just like on school of Rock...all piling into a beat up old van...hammering it up the road screeming out Hammer of the Gods by Led Zep

death cube k - Oops I nearly changed your name to a very different picture then...death cub K...hmm just doesn't hve the same impact...looking cute and furry I'm sure is not the mental image you want people to think of...anyway...thanks for the info...are you refering to what that kid is playing along too...so that means anyone could play it...cool you should definately all learn to play it and have a guitar battle then!

Bahduh - I'm sorry honey I couldn't help laughing at your little explanation...which is horrible of me cos it's not funny for you at all! Why do you think you wriggle so much...heat maybe? Playing cricket in your dreams? Ahh it's sad that in your dreams is the only place you can play it, must be very frustrating for you cos you obviously love it...well I hope you can find a way to ease your pain..in the meantime thinking of you!

Cheese101 - Great thank you for listening to him...I thought he was pretty awsome...but what do I know...good to hear someone else agree though..

Blue Moon - Oh you poor thing u...I hope broadband will be coming to a screen near you soon! Cool sunrise by the way. I think we may get a scanner soon if we do I will show you some of mine...umm pics of sunrises that is

Austin, hey, welcome back again! haha. It's great to see you back here dude, there's a few thousand question about Joe that need answering....this is your calling! Just kidding :-D You sound pretty happy about the new job and new apartment, that's all good stuff. I hope all the things that have been a bit crazy haven't been bad things?!

Stick around this time bro! ;-)

Satriella, "Willat Be Joe", hahahaha, that's too funny! Great idea though!

Yeah I'll sort you out with Hill Groove some time....I don't quite know all of it yet....I keep meaning to properly learn the entirity of the solo but always get carried away playing something similar. Ah well.

Where are you lot getting this information on Joe touring with EJ? I didn't see it on the news page or on EJ's news page either....what am I missing?
