svk, ha! But I do love you honey! lmao!!! I was havin' at my bottle of Jager and having waaaay to much fun last night. So much fun, in fact, that I just might do it again tonight!! lmao!!

Davey, it's the happy song to the VONAGE commercial. I also LOVE the commercial where the 3 guys are in the office - one playing the boombox and the other two dancing to Salt & Pepa ~ "Ooh baby baby, Ohh baby baby". Sooo friggin funny, and a have to wiggle along with them every time. lol! The best commrecials on now are the ones with the office guy working with a bunch of chimps. OMG they're soooo funny! There's even a chimp sitting on the copy machine with his pants down around his ankles. lmao!!

Alexandre, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!!! Best wishes, as always, to you sweetie!

still 7 pages behind...

ovation1 - You know that Eric Johnson Austin City Limits performance is available on CD and DVD, right? I have it...it's awesome. :-)

962 - That's actually the best way to deal with telemarketers. If you had hung up right away, the telemarketer probably could have made 50 other calls in those 15 minutes...and one of them probably would have been a sale. If everyone would humor telemarketers for even just a minute or two, the number of calls they make per hour would go WAY down...and their sales would go down as a result. It eventually wouldn't be profitable for companies to use them, and they'd go away.
bluebuffalo - "there is alot of sexual inuendo going on in this but it's just to easy to do"

LOL...but isn't that true with all the good jobs? It gets that way in the newsroom too. Whenever Kobe Bryant has a high-scoring game, for example, we have fun with potential headlines as he gets nearer and nearer to 69 points..."Kobe 69s competition" and so on.

Mahavishnu - I heard about the JS / EJ tour from another T2Jer, but it was outside of T2J. I don't have any more details right now...sorry.

The G3 CD doesn't have a virus. It has hidden software on it that prevents you from doing certain things with the music content on the CD. It's not cool. It shouldn't fry your speakers or screw with your USB ports, so maybe you have another problem.

Visit this site for information about getting a replacement G3 CD. They'll cover all costs (the new CDs and shipping both ways).

LucySorets - Thanks...it's good to be back.
DC Slater - Hi...you seem to be fairly new around here, so I thought I'd say "hey". I've been fairly quiet on T2J for the past year or so, but I was around for a few years before then... Most people here already know me, but I don't know you. So...

What are some of your favorite Satch songs? How many times have you seen him in concert? What other music do you like?

...Austin...

k, nuther post...this one a quote from Andy Aledort, who is talking about the upcoming Guitar World Magazine Feb 14th...word has it that Andy was the one who went to Joe's home to record the lessons.....

"This IS the Satch issue you have been waiting for: an up-close and personal private lesson with Satriani about the art of soloing, plus how to play all of "Satch Boogie," complete with a newly revised transcription, how to play his new title track 'Super Colossal' and a zillion licks and exercises for building up soloing chops and speed. Joe is a fantastic teacher and this is by far the longest lesson on CD-Rom we have ever done. Between the "Satch Boogie" lesson and the soloing lesson, it's over 25 minutes long."

Whooooohoooohoooie!!

mthead, awww that's so cool that you got moose outside the window! How big is an adult moose, anyway? Am I right in thinking they're about the size of a cow, just a bit slimmer?

Austin, awww, sorry to hear about loosing the girl. Still, getting a new job and a new place to live is cool, even if the new place to live isn't that great!

Hmm, I'd love to hear something official about the JS/EJ tour.....that'll be amazing! And I've got the Autsin City Limits DVD and CD too....it's amazing. I really love "Righteous", "Trail Of Tears" and "Emerald Eyes" in particular.

Also, "That's actually the best way to deal with telemarketers. If you had hung up right away, the telemarketer probably could have made 50 other calls in those 15 minutes...and one of them probably would have been a sale" - well that's kinda what I figured. The call wasn't costing me anything and I didn't have anything better to be doing so I thought I might as well keep him going for quarter of an hour! hehe

js1200js1000, howdy bro! I've had a really busy week since about wednesday (hence my relative absence) but it's all slowed down a bit now! Hows things with you? Hope everything's cool!
gotta have joe, hahaha, the "Attention MSN" email was hilarious, thanks for that!

Hi Satch fans,

But I am sorry to have offended you...forgiven? Oh and no I'm not on medication..do you think I should be hehe? haha...they're coming to take me away hehe haha

/\/\/\R|<: Hell yeah bro, Jeremy is a freak, lol, but he doesnt have a big enough kit to play in the \//\I band IMO.... He's a great groove drummer (which the Dr. has stated), but when it comes to playing songs like Freak Show Excess, you need Mangini or Donati.... Jeremy just doesnt fill the song like they do, he is not a tom roll / double bass kinda guy; although he smashes the hell outta the drums in a good way, lol....

Do The Stu: Thanks for that link Austin, I cant believe the dvd is only $15.19!!!!.... I need to make a big order soon, lol, thanks.... btw, I notice that COD video clip is from that dvd :-)

Plum Loco: Damn bear, I didnt know there was a vid for that song!!.... I hope someone out there can hook us up, cause that is such a great song!!.... Man, I gotta get Time Machine back in the car now, lol!!....

Satriella: That is great to hear your having fun with drawing.... Listen to some Satch while you do it, and the real art comes out :-)

Okay...it's 4:40 a.m. and I'm still awake. I guess it's easy for the night to just fly by when you're in your own apartment without a roommate, huh? I was watching a few DVDs like a lazy bum, and now it's morning. I guess I should get some sleep soon...

cheese101 - That Les Paul & Friends concert sounds like a cool gig. If I have that day off work I'll definitely be there. Thanks for posting that.

962 - "sorry to hear about loosing the girl"

Yeah, it sucks. We're both kinda staying away from each other now (both accidentally and on purpose, I guess). We don't talk to each other, we avoid certain situations if we know the other person is likely to be there (which really sucks because we used to work together and we have A LOT of mutual friends), and so on. It all feels like a really bad breakup, but it's weird because we were never actually together. It's all a big complicated mess...meh.

MattGK - "Making it in the music industry" takes a lot more than knowing scales/modes and being able to play fast. Stick with it for as long as your heart is still in it.
Satriella - I've noticed in the past that it's quite common for new people to come to the site, post a few times a day for about two weeks, and then disappear. It's always nice to have new people here, so I've always tried to do my best to make them feel welcome.

Anyway, since we don't really know each other... I'm a 22-year-old journalism major at Cal State Long Beach. I've been a Satch fan since the mid-1990s and I've seen him in concert 12 times. My musical tastes are similar to most other T2Jers (instrumental rock, progressive rock, classic rock, etc.), but I also really like a few bands that don't fit that mold (Dave Matthews Band, Garbage and They Might Be Giants, to name a few). I've played bass guitar for a few years now, although I haven't had as much free time to play in the past year or so. Sadly, life has just gotten in the way. Well, now that you know me, can you take a moment and tell me a bit about yourself? ;-)

ovation1 - "I cant believe the dvd is only $15.19!!!!.... I need to make a big order soon"

Awesome... Do you have other CDs/DVDs on your "big order" waiting list? ;-) If not, I can make a few suggestions...hehe.

Well, it's time for bed. Good morning, everyone. ;-)

...Austin...
