Hello! Can't believe I'm actually mailing Joe Satriani! Absolutely love your excellent work! I wanted to ask a question if I may. A few years ago (I think it was around 1997-98) a friend of mine had a CD which he obtained with a copy of Guitarist Magazine, featuring a "bonus track" by yourself. I never knew the name of this track, if in fact it ever had an official title but I really loved that tune. I had a copy of it but my car was stolen about two years ago and I lost it then. I have been trying to obtain it ever since but as I don't even know the title or date. I have tried everything. Joe, if you really are out there would you be able to tell me how I could obtain a copy? Needless to say, I have every one of your albums and this track is on none of them. Many thanks indeed. Suzie - Thanks for that!!! I remember being advised about that before, but I totally forgot - thanks for reminding me. I get the majority of my work through the East Sussex Music service, but it would always be nice to get some more private work since it's cash in hand, but also because I don't have to follow stupid company policies!!!!!! Thanks again.

Boss ps-5

Is great for harmonizing and a few other features too, i tihnk its mroe advanced than the old hamronist, i.e its newer... but it has a good range of harmonies and different options in doing so, It has a good range of intervils, andu can play them in teh detune mode, pitch shifter, harmoniy and somethin else.. u can set the speed of the harmony and how much of the original note and new harmonised note, all off the settings can produce polytones,, and u can play the harmonies diatonicly or parallell

The New CD - Super Colossal

For me - sometimes a CD's cover grows on me. The same may be true with Super Colossal. Each cover is different. All that matters is what is on the CD music wise - the cover helps the causal purchase.

Maybe Joe will have a single that catches fire on the radio and the CD sells like hot cakes. Here in Chicagoland, I don't get to hear much of Joe on the radio - maybe you do else where, but not in Chicagoland. When you do - it is typically only Flying in the Blue Dream.

I have circled March 14 on my calendar - cannot wait !!

Both the Deluxe Edition and the standard issue of Operation: Mindcrime (1988) by Queensryche will shift from the June 15 release date to a week later, June 20. However, Rhino's Operation: Mindcrime II will release, as expected, on March 14.

....Dont get me wrong, I'm happy about the news of a new album, but we didnt have a clue as to what the title or artwork would be.... Such is the power of the internet I guess, lol, sometimes it's scary, lol....

....Nite peeps, and congrats JOE!.... I like the album title, and could you shed some light on the meaning besides the obvious??....

'Family Guy's' Stewie hosting Web talk show

LAS VEGAS (Hollywood Reporter) - Heeeeere's Stewie!

The tyrannical tyke in the Fox animated series "Family Guy" will be the virtual host of a talk show being developed strictly for the Internet later this year.

Stewie's show will be based on familyguy.com http://www.familyguy.com and other News Corp.-owned Web properties catering to the young demographics that have embraced the Fox series.

"We think that the property is perfectly suited for that audience," Fox Interactive Media president Ross Levinsohn said Tuesday.

He added that the idea for the show has been embraced on Madison Avenue by potential advertisers. He does not expect the program to cannibalize viewing for the Fox series or other "Family" brand extensions like DVD. Stewie wouldn't be the first animated character to get his own talk show; that distinction belongs to "Space Ghost Coast to Coast," which aired on Cartoon Network.

you're welcome Zinc... :)

conor That was a track Joe did for the Guitar Techniques magazine back in April 1998. I found my copy (with the cd) on ebay...now if only I could actually FIND it here in the house...I have a sneaking suspicion it's in the kid's room, never to be seen again....m'gonna moiderize him.....grrrrr....

Anyway, you can hear it here, called Untitled Go to the media section and scroll down till you find:

Joe Satriani: "Untitled" (also incorrectly known as "Heart Of The Sun") and click on that to hear it....there's lotsa goodies at that site....hope that helps
