DO THE STU - Good to hear you are doing well.
I guess I missed something , Joe is going on the road with Eric Johnson?
And about this virus on the G3 cd , is that why my soundcard

Civgeek - Hows it going? I am coming to Portland for another

Hi everyone!
I can't believe that Joe and Eric Johnson will be touring together! It's fantastic! But when? Does anyone know something?
bahduh, I showed my younger sister your message to her, she thanks you and says you are cool! Thank you for the mails :-) I will reply later...have a nice day!
alexandrecaetano, Alexandre, thanks for the mail and happy birthday! Parabens! ;-) I wish you have a wonderful party. No, it's not my birthday, it was my younger sister's birthday on 25th. Anyway, thank you for the wishes :-) I will drink a toast pointing to the west for you, cheers! :-)
marimariSRV, hi Mari! No, it's not my birthday, it was my younger sister's. Mine is October 6th, thanks anyway :-) I'll mail you soon, I'm a bit behind in mails, have a nice weekend!
Keniko, happy birthday!
tune, nice to see you posting :-) I'm glad you are doing well and happy belated birthday!
Satriella, yes, it was an e-mail from me but I forgot to say "Hello, I'm Lucy from Talk To Joe etc etc" lol I'll re-send it to you, it was something quite cool :)
Do The Stu, welcome back!
962, Simon, LOL on your story on the telephone!
michelle, hi back :-) Yeah, Deep Purple were incredible! I was really impressed with every little detail specially because it was my first time seeing them. I loved it!
gotta have Joe, music has helped me a lot when I felt down through my everyday life along with reading, writing and painting. Put your favorite music, close your eyes so you can relax and dream your dream. That's the best way I stay positive. I read once that nothing is good or bad it's thinking that makes it! And it's very true. Cheer up Kayla :-)
Have a nice weekend everyone :-)

SupaaDave - Thanks. :-)
Satriella - I'm working in the sports department for the Long Beach Press-Telegram. I pull stuff from the AP wire and lay out the scoreboard page three or four days a week, and I answer phones, interview coaches, and write up high school sports summaries one or two days a week. I'd like to move into copy editing eventually...I should be able to get that going once I graduate.
I have mixed emotions about this being my last semester. I've had a lot of problems with some former friends and stuff surrounding my former work environment. All that stuff is/was school related, so it's all going to come rushing back to me at graduation. We'll see how it goes.
962 - Thanks, man...it's good to be back. Some of the crazy stuff was a bit bad. To grossly oversimplify last year and sum it up in one sentence: I got a new job, I met a new girl through the new job, I lost the girl (I guess I never really had her, technically), I quit the job, I got a new job, I moved into a new apartment. It really sucks...LOL. But I'm getting by.
I heard about the JS / EJ tour from michelle, outside of T2J. I think she caught Joe in the chatroom or something.
alexandrecaetano - Thanks... How are you doing? Have you recorded any new music recently?
Happy birthday, by the way! :-)
Well, I'm getting hungry...it's pizza time. I'll catch you guys later...

Hey all, how goes it?
Satriella - Hey, I've been running around trying to finalize things for the new CD, and I'm also jamming with some other guys here, so my schedule has been a little nuts. But I'm Ok... a little tired, but Ok... thanks for asking! Are you feeling better? Did my advice help?
alter_ego_of_joe - What's up man! How are you doing with the pointers we gave you? Don't forget to keep playing... don't stop. You should be playing right now... are you? :)
alexandrecaetano - Thanks for posting that acoustic clip of Waterfall... good stuff, man!!
marimariSRV - Can't wait to see the photos! Congrats!!
962 - No problem, man... keep rockin'
Just saw the EJ clip posted by Ovation1 (thanks dude!) - Incredible! Glad to hear he's on the road with Joe this year!!

ovation1: That EJ music video was hilarious! Every time EJ has to do the "longing vacant stare" into the camera, I lost it haah! That bone clip is cool, but the tone was horrible, it almost sounds like EJ had to run a fuzz pedal into some borrowed amp they had for him there. Cool though.
Alexandre: Happy birthday man! I had no idea you were 29, no big deal though, just a number, I'm almost 24 pretty soon here. Have a great day!

marimariSRV: lol on the EJ vids mari, it's always a blast to see him work his magic!!.... BTW, plant those seeds babe! :-)
962: lol man, get broadband soon, lol!!.... Those links are streaming, not d/loadable, but I save the good ones to faves and watch them anytime from that menu!....
Eric is sure a busy man these days, and I'm happy to see that he's being more interactive than he's ever been!!.... All this w/ Timmons in the mix as well as Nuno.... It's only January and we still got a years worth of great guitar coming!! :-)
/\/\/\R|<: That's too bad bro (on Mike), because his skills are unearthly, and perhaps that's the reason why he is not in the \//\I band anymore, lol....
alter_ego_of_joe / DC Slater: No problem my man! :-)
LucySorets: I heard that EJ will tour w/ JOE for a month in April! :-) Forgot the source though....
OCPS470: lol on the EJ vid, kinda confusing too, haha.... I thought his tone sounded horrible on that bone clip too, like the amp was broke, lmao!!.... Like you said though, always great to see EJ!!....
....Later peeps....

svk, ha! But I do love you honey! lmao!!! I was havin' at my bottle of Jager and having waaaay to much fun last night. So much fun, in fact, that I just might do it again tonight!! lmao!!
Davey, it's the happy song to the VONAGE commercial. I also LOVE the commercial where the 3 guys are in the office - one playing the boombox and the other two dancing to Salt & Pepa ~ "Ooh baby baby, Ohh baby baby". Sooo friggin funny, and a have to wiggle along with them every time. lol! The best commrecials on now are the ones with the office guy working with a bunch of chimps. OMG they're soooo funny! There's even a chimp sitting on the copy machine with his pants down around his ankles. lmao!!
Alexandre, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!!! Best wishes, as always, to you sweetie!
still 7 pages behind...

ovation1 - You know that Eric Johnson Austin City Limits performance is available on CD and DVD, right? I have it...it's awesome. :-)
962 - That's actually the best way to deal with telemarketers. If you had hung up right away, the telemarketer probably could have made 50 other calls in those 15 minutes...and one of them probably would have been a sale. If everyone would humor telemarketers for even just a minute or two, the number of calls they make per hour would go WAY down...and their sales would go down as a result. It eventually wouldn't be profitable for companies to use them, and they'd go away.
bluebuffalo - "there is alot of sexual inuendo going on in this but it's just to easy to do"
LOL...but isn't that true with all the good jobs? It gets that way in the newsroom too. Whenever Kobe Bryant has a high-scoring game, for example, we have fun with potential headlines as he gets nearer and nearer to 69 points..."Kobe 69s competition" and so on.
Mahavishnu - I heard about the JS / EJ tour from another T2Jer, but it was outside of T2J. I don't have any more details right now...sorry.
The G3 CD doesn't have a virus. It has hidden software on it that prevents you from doing certain things with the music content on the CD. It's not cool. It shouldn't fry your speakers or screw with your USB ports, so maybe you have another problem.
Visit this site for information about getting a replacement G3 CD. They'll cover all costs (the new CDs and shipping both ways).
LucySorets - Thanks...it's good to be back.
DC Slater - Hi...you seem to be fairly new around here, so I thought I'd say "hey". I've been fairly quiet on T2J for the past year or so, but I was around for a few years before then... Most people here already know me, but I don't know you. So...
What are some of your favorite Satch songs? How many times have you seen him in concert? What other music do you like?
...Austin...

Du the Stu - Crongrats to you, too. It's nice to have a job in the field of your study. And the money doesn't hurt either.
Had our first practice with the new lineup. Went very well It's nice to have guys that can sing. We were throwin down some cool harmonies. Well time to make dinner. Ya'll have a great night.

k, nuther post...this one a quote from Andy Aledort, who is talking about the upcoming Guitar World Magazine Feb 14th...word has it that Andy was the one who went to Joe's home to record the lessons.....
"This IS the Satch issue you have been waiting for: an up-close and personal private lesson with Satriani about the art of soloing, plus how to play all of "Satch Boogie," complete with a newly revised transcription, how to play his new title track 'Super Colossal' and a zillion licks and exercises for building up soloing chops and speed. Joe is a fantastic teacher and this is by far the longest lesson on CD-Rom we have ever done. Between the "Satch Boogie" lesson and the soloing lesson, it's over 25 minutes long."
Whooooohoooohoooie!!
