cuth, i got out of the chat to watch the Chinese guy with the previously blown out Achillies skate. They made it through. No blood. Guess I should go to bed now. lol! I'm in the mood to watch a good hockey game after all this candy ass skating. lol!

Mari, the snow is BEAUTIFUL!! It's so bright outside tonight. I need to send Vidhya more pics of the final snow fall. I sent her some when we only had about an inch...which was about six inches ago. lol!

Blue Moon - Did you nip across for this...we wondered where you were last night! hehe

Lager galore after lorry accident

Thousands of cans of lager disappeared after a lorry shed its load on a Scottish road, it has emerged. The vehicle jack-knifed as it swerved to avoid a deer on the A77 near Ballantrae in South Ayrshire.

Road maintenance firm Amey was called in to gather up the remaining cans of Miller lager from the road.

The incident recalled the film Whisky Galore, in which locals on a Scottish island seized thousands of cases of whisky from a wrecked ship.

A spokesman for brewers Scottish Courage said: "Miller has always been a popular beer in Scotland and if it falls off the back of a lorry people are bound to pick it up.

People were getting out of their cars to pick up the cans and that had caused a road block

Strathclyde Police spokeswoman "We are not sure whether the deer stopped the lorry deliberately but with the beer that went missing there will be a couple of stag parties in the area."

The accident took place shortly before midnight on Thursday.

The road was not cleared until about 1100 BST on Friday.

A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said one motorist had contacted the force to say that the road was littered with thousands of cans of lager.

She said: "We were getting calls saying people were getting out of their cars to pick up the cans and that had caused a road block."

Zenfish: Because he has created the very same work for hire situation he swore he'd never impose on anyone else, because he cannot write worth a damn, because he farms out his own work instead of doing it himself, because he tried to royally screw Neil Gaiman out of the rights to Miracleman, and because his ego is the size of China.

His company makes very good toys, though.

/\/\/\R|<: lol on Mr. Ron Thal.... It's just that from what I've seen at his site (vids), the music/playing didnt grab me.... Although, I love /\/\/\TTI/\S and Mr. Martone, BB didnt do it for me..yet, lol.... From the sounds of it, I need to do some more research on him, thanks for the tip.... Oh, and btw, have you heard of the amazing Guthrie Govan??.... I'm sure you have, but check out the vid clips.... Amazing player hailing from Britian!!....

Spizazz: lol bro, Keniko is one kuul dude and player!.... And Michael Angelo needs to slow it down a notch if you know what I mean, lol....

Ethn Hayabusa: Yo bro, nice to see ya in these parts, and yeah man.... I need to do some Ron Thal research, lol....

slanshroom: lol bro, I hear ya on the talent out there.... My uncanny sofa needs me right now too, lmao!!.... Stay kuul man, and keep making great music!! :-)

962: No problem on the Pablo Classical discography bro, and I think you've got the best two choices there in Gilbert Hotel and The Best Of!!!!.... On the latter, you will love Jeff Martin' (Racer X frontman who also plays drums very well!!) and Paul play Carole King' I feel The Earth Move and the live version of Karn Evil No.9.... Amazing to hear Paul play those keyboard parts on guitar!!!!.... ENJOY!! :-) BTW, I couldnt have explained Pablo better in your post to Satriells, lol.... ....And now for all you Pablo Gilberto freaks.... A clip of Paul (from the Space Ship One dvd) playing Scarified.... Man, I love it when he says take it away Marco on the intro, lol.... BTW, watch the ending where Marco loses the drumstick, but keeps playing and says at the end, "but I got it all!!".... lol, Paul rules, and check it out Satriella, it will give you a taste of Pauls playing and his sense of humor!! :-)

Keniko: Have fun at the gigs bro!!....

DC Slater: Congrats man!!!!....

....This will also give you a sense of Paul Gilbert' humor (from the Terrifying Guitar Trip video).... He plays some Flamingo (lol, instead of Flamenco) to show you his inability to play fingerstyle, but he pulls it off beautifully!!....

HrhFish - Thanks for the offer mate...but I'm already unloading all my craziness on one T2Jer....which I think is very unfair on him to be honest and I should probably stop...although I have to say it's real good to be able to talk..he is pretty much there for me any time and I am sooo grateful to him for that..I owe him a great deal...so it would be unfair to do it to someone else as well...but I really appreciate the offer and I'm sorry really for reacting that way to your post...wrong time to see it I guess...sometimes you can handle things other times you can't...anyway if I made you feel bad about what you said I'm sorry...you were probably right for most people.

ovation1 - Thanks for the links for me in your 962 post...can't get them to play though.....you having that problem 962? I will try again tomorrow...could be just a blip!

to all you young ones...feeling a bit neilish right now...

Stevee T....it's on that same disc....in the features section...right under where you select Satch Boogie is another Joe video called Joe Satriani's Ultimate Soloing Guide. He takes you through different things, talks about the new album, and starting with figure 12 he plays a lil bit from the title track Super Colossal.... it's really cool! The vid is about 20 minutes long...or so....

cheese101....found it...I listened to it in my car at first...now I watched it...Super Collosal sorta sounds like Freddie King's Goin Down...with the tack piano....pulsing away...love that feel & tune....

Joe...nice interview....very knowledgable, and well spoken as usual...I enjoyed very millisecond of it....great stuff...I also noticed you used the phase switch on your JS2 PRM...love how that changes the guitar's personality....when used in combination with the neck pick-up in single coil mode...very glassy sounding....nice work!!!!

Here's one of my latest tunes utilizing that very setting....

Harvest Ice

a tune performed with the New JS2 PRM Chromeboy...hope you like it!

ovation1...thanks for the Paul Gilbert link...very nice stuff

Just found this over at Blabbermouth.net. :

DEF LEPPARD guitarist Vivian Campbell and guitar legend Joe Satriani will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Wednesday, March 15. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). To find a station near you, check out www.rocklineradio.com.

Steve T: You have to check out the ENTIRE CD-ROM, all kindsa good stuff on there. The video interview is the lengthiest one I've ever seen anywhere. I *highly* recommend the magazine (http://www.guitarworld.com ) to anyone......specifically the April 2006 issue for those of you not familiar with it. If anyone wants a copy but can't find one, just let me know. There should be plenty of newsstand copies around here.

Zenfish: I love comics. Just not fond of the Toddster's ego at all. I take it you're familiar with the work of Moebius and Francois Schuiten?

Now playing: Billy Sheehan ~ Cosmic Troubadour. Anybody else got this album? It's pretty awesome, Billy rocks!

ovation1, Gilbert Hotel arrived yesterday! I love it, I didn't realise the whole concept of the album was something more bluesy/folky/I don't know how to describe it, but it's really great.

It's a nice surprise and an interesting insight into another side of Paul's playing. I can't wait to get Paul The Young Dude! Thanks for all the info bro, it's been a great help! Oh, and I've gotta get that Spaceship one DVD!

Satriella, yeah I found I couldn't get onto this site earlier.....it happens occasionally, I would guess it's either because something is being changed on the site or, more likely, the server.

Anyway, maybe that's partly connected to the reason you couldn't acess the videos that mikey linked you to?! Ifyou still have the links, try them again because Paul's playing has to be seen to be believed!
