Akorn I ordered that poster maybe a year or two ago, I was very surprised when the package came and I opened it up and it was signed. How awesome is that! The only thing that would have been better than receiving the poster signed by Joe was the poster coming with the Ibanez JS in the pic! How unbelievable would that be!
-I'm going to be finally be recording soon, some of my own stuff and a friend wants me to play on some of his songs. My question, how do I post up my songs online for you all to check out?

Ahhh...I have a good question for you all:
-Name YOUR top 5 favorite guitar tones by any guitarists.
-you can be as specific as possible, not only who, but from what album, DVD, live show, etc... right down to a specific song.

Al, that scratchplate is beuuuuutiful! Wonder how much you could get for that on eBay? lol! NOT that I think you should sell it, but just out of curiosity.
Sully is into EVERYTHING! This cat is crazy! He's climbing on everything he possibly can, and the things he couldn't reach a few days ago are suddenly within reach. All week I kept hearing him throw himself against the cabinets in the kitchen. I would just hear a thud and then nails scrape on wood. Now I realize that the little buggar was trying to propel himself up onto the countertop. Well, I was in the kitchen today, and to my surprise, when I turned around I was being looked at by this little red head midget - ON my counter! *groan* And yet - he sleeps all evening when my husband is home. lol! I've added to his name now. I call him Sully Monster! lol!

Hi everyone!
962, It was cool to hear Eric Johnson in his early years, he demonstrates to have a very mature sense of playing since then, thanks for the Mariani link :-)
njbeast, it's my pleasure, I hope the webmaster contacts you soon...
bahduh, hi, got your mail and you have mail, take care :-)
death cube k, that's great news to hear that the new Talk To Joe CD is being released soon, in 28 days! that's fantastic. I can't wait to listen to it, the first one was so good :-)
Guitarmiester, a good place to start is www.soundclick.com. You need to register as a member first, then you register yourself as a band/artist. So just set up an account and you can upload mp3s for the whole world to listen to!
It's a great site.
Just as a listener...here's my top five guitar tones:
Joe Satriani - With Jupiter in Mind
Steve Vai - Whispering a Prayer
Eric Johnson - Camel's Night Out
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood
Allan Holdsworth - Metal Fatigue
WEBMASTER, one of the winners of the G3-Live In Tokyo giveaway contest, njbeast (David Wren) hasn't got his prize: G3 DVD & CD + Poster. Please contact him soon, thanks!

962 - Thanks for the link to that EJ stuff. I knew all about that record, but I had never heard any of it until now. I always knew Eric wasn't pleased with it, but I don't know if it's because he wasn't pleased with it or if it's because he had a lousy contract and doesn't get much money for it (not that he does it for the money, but yeah).
ovation1 - That's a good song too...thanks for that video link. He does have a good voice.
death cube k - Does that mean it's too late for me to help out with what I did last time around? I know I've been gone forever, but I can write up a little something if you need me to.
Tkdguy73 - That game has actually already been released...it's NASCAR 2006 for PS2.
Guitarmiester - That's an excellent question...thanks for giving me something to think about while I'm in class later today. ;-) I can think of two obvious ones right now, but I'll wait until tonight so I can give you a complete list.
...Austin...

Michelle: You know....it kind of worries me that someone out there gets off at the thought of a Baboons ass,lol
Zen:Cool, happy y got it at last.I,m my usual chaotic self again, really looking forward t getting all my studio kit together to empty my head & buying the tools i need to make my own guitars.I,m so unbelievably chuffed that for the first time in my life i,m able to afford to buy what i need,WOOHOO
Clarky:Sorry t hear about the Digi bro, same happened t me a few years back, i can live without the Ov/Dist section but the FXs were something else, i still get Digitech 2101 hunger pangs from time to time.Have y test drived the new GNX 3000?
Cube:The Digitech GNX 3000 is getting my attention & at 500 bucks y cant really sniff at what it claims to sound like, have y tryed it yourself? Also i,m not sure whether to hold off to buy the Apple Powerbook G5, apparently its not poss at mo or go get the G4 & M powered pro tools, i love the idea of being able to record on the move but not sure in the long run if its a wise investment, any tips bro?
marimariSRV:just incase you didnt get my mail, your photos are stunning darlin, nice pat on the back from Mr Vai 2, keep up the flag girl!
Ovation 1:Thanks for your mail man, really goes a long way when life is same old, if the big guy grants me life for another year CD 2 is going t be so much fun

I didn't even post up my list!?! Here's my top 5, I'd be more specific if I had the time, but a little busy at the time:
(No specific order)
(1)Daniel Gildenlow - Pain of Salvation
(2)Joe Satriani (with Marshall's, just listen to Live in S.F.)
(3)John Petrucci
(4)Steve Vai
(5)Eric Johnson
-I like Joe's JSX, but his tone with the Marshall's was better. Peavey makes some amazing sounding amps (5150's, 6505's, JSX, Classic 50). I've been thinking about getting a 6505. Again, I'm not saying I don't like Joe's sound with the JSX, but I don't think it's as good as the tone he had on the Live in San Fran. DVD. Crystal Planet, he had some great tones on there.
-I'm actually not a huge E.J. fan, he's good, but just not for me. But, he's got one great tone!
-I could go on, but I just stuck to 5, didn't want to go overboard.
Lucy Thanks for the help, I actually had someone tell me about Soundclick.com last night, too.
-I've got another good question (mainly for guitarists): Your favorite amp/best amp you've ever played.
