That hat has got to go. You know the gilligan one.
Looking foward to hear the new CD.
I liked the G3 Japan video, John can kick some ass,
I am going to buy his solo cd, fucker blew me away.
"Searching" and "up in flames" are very good choices for
the new tour.
John reminds me of Alex from Rush a little.

Hey Joe I've been listening to you since I was 8 years old. You have influenced me so much. I'm wondering if you've ever experienced hand pains from guitar? If so what did you do to recover? Thanks!

The crippler - Can you be more specific? Has the R2 DVD not been released? Was there some sort of problem with it? Or...?
SupaaDave - "a little while back I asked what "Pie & Chips" is"
I don't know, but it reminds me of something I wanted to mention the other day.
I ate dinner at Denny's, and heard someone sitting in the booth behind me order fish and chips. She asked for country-fried potatoes instead of french fries, which I guess was too much for the waitress to comprehend. The waitress kept asking why you would order "fish and chips" if you didn't want the "chips" part of it (as if the customer has a say in what things are called on the menu, right?), like the customer was doing something wrong. It was such a simple requestion...I don't know what the waitress' problem was. Oh well, though.
Satriella - I know "half past three" means 3:30...my question was if "half three" and "half past three" mean the same thing. Yes or no? Or maybe you're saying they are the same and I'm just confused...
Why my name? Why "Do The Stu," you mean? I'm a big fan of Stu Hamm, the bassist Joe played with on most tours from the beginning of his career through the G3 2001 tour. Stu was in the band the first four times I saw Joe...at those concerts I would actually spend about 90% of my time watching Stu instead of Joe.
Do you have the LISF DVD? Watch Stu when he plays...he'll tap his left and right feet to the music, and he'll bob his head to the left and right. A lot of people here noticed that and thought it was cool. A friend of mine and I called it "the Stu" when we were watching that DVD once...I combined it with my love of Mountain Dew (Do the Dew), and thought it would make a good username. :-)
And yes, I play bass guitar.
tjricha - You can go to http://www.soundclick.com/ and set up an account.
bluebuffalo - In addition to what cheese101 said, CD Universe is selling the first one for $5.99 and the second one for $7.99. If anyone here doesn't have these CDs, I highly recommend picking them up now...they're dirt cheap. Click here and here.
The Doll - Jimi Hendrix had a HUGE influence on Joe.
...Austin...

Marcus Maximus: Hey man, Kiko is one of the great virtuoso's out there today, glad to see your a fan.... His name needs more notice!!....
mthead: lol bro, all is well here while we wait for Super Colossal sound clips!! :-)
Satriella: Thanks for asking, all is well girl, and No Gravity will kick your a**, lol!!!!.... I'm so happy Kiko made that album, it showcases his many talents.... His two handed tapping technique is unreal and unmatched, he can shred a fire on the fretboard; he's also got melody to die for, and sounds like JOE in a lot of ways..you can definately hear the influence.... Great choice!!....
....Later peeps....

JOE SATRIANI: Could you give our Stevee T a mail on his work? he,s been posting, leaving his inst ideas for us & you to hear for SOOOOOOO long.I know your busy but.....It would make his day if he knew you had listened.Good luck with all Joe
Cube:I,m really confused about Po-Tools HD, they have so much to offer at high cost, man i dont know whats better to opt for.I want/need pro quality but will LE deliver?or should i wait again? My idea is to be able to record all my parts at home, take em to a studio & record with a live band for a week pro quality.I,m not comfortable in a small studio session, i prefer to fire the direct sound through the cans for others. But if the money is there, all direct.Trying to find a way to make it human sounding, hmmm. The Digi is on the list!

Hi all, I've just downloaded the track "Turkey Man" from the "Additional Creations" CD that came bundled with some copies of "Engines Of Creation". I downloaded it from www.allofmp3.com, but am concerned if the sound quality is up to scratch. The first 35 seconds or so of the solo guitar intro are fine, but when the drums and other instruments kick in it sounds horribly distorted like the gain has been turned up way too high. It's a LAME encode at 320kbps so I assumed it was going to fine! Can someone who has the original CD just confirm the original doesn't sound like this? Cheers.
