How do? I think it's been about 6 months since I was able to log on last. Okay, so Internet is available to me again such that I'm not just limited to email now.
New CD coming soon? Interested in hearing it.
Good to see a lot of familiar names! T2J running as normal?

Hey all. What a couple of days I've had...
On Wednesday night I played a show in Birmingham at the ICC. It was some NHS Conference, andI'd never met the other musicians before in my life - except for the drummer, who turned out to be my brother!!! lol. It was also a sight reading gi, and some of it was a proper roast; seat of the pants stuff. Still, we got treated like royalty - had a dressing room each and stuff, loads of free food, coffee, water, and beer - and then I got paid £150 cash in hand. Great stuff. Since it was an NHS conference, however, I was worried that when I got there I'd have to wait around for five hours only to be told that there wans't actually anyone available to listen to me... lol
Since I was so far from home I figured I'd crash at my bro's flat in North-West London, and then get up bright nd early to go teach the following morning. So we got in at half three in the morning, and I had to get up at six in order to make it to Heathfield - which is an hour's drive form my home town, but in the opposite direction!! - for ten o'clock. Three cans of Red Bull laters and I just about made it, thankfully...
Then I had band practice for a gig that was suposed to happen last night, but never did because our other guitarist's dad got rushed into intensive care and stuff. He has cancer and had clean run out of white blood cells, so he had to have an emergency operation. So, naturally, we cancelled the gig. About four hours before it was due to start!!!!! Nothing else could have been done about it though - just one of those annoying curve balls life throws us. The worst part, apart form James' dad still being critical, is that it was going to be James' last gig with us so were going to give him a good party-style gig. Can't be helped I suppose.
And now we're at today, when the auditions for th new RECOIL guitarist are due to start and someone's already phoned me to cancel. Said they're joining the RAF so wouldn't be ableto commit to the band for long term anyway, and didn't want ot mess us around; obviously totally oblivious to the fact that it's exactly what he has done!!!! lol
Nevermind, I guess I'm having a pretty easy time of it when you think about what James and family must be going through right now. To inappropriately quot Spinal Tap, "It really puts things in persepctive, don't it?" "Yeah, too much fucking perspective!"

The Super Bowl Fan
There was this man who won a contest and got one free ticket to the
Super Bowl. He was thrilled, but when he got to the stadium and found
his seat he was somewhat disappointed. His ticket was for the last row,
and it was WAY up there. He couldn't see the game, so he began looking
around.
Close to the field he saw an empty seat, so he decided to go down
there. He reached the seat and asked the man next to the unoccupied
seat if anyone was seating there.
The man replied, "No." So the guy sat down and struck up a
conversation.
"Who would have a seat right next to the field and not come?!?"
The man answers, "Oh, that was my wife's seat."
"Where is she?" the guy replied.
"She died."
"Oh, I'm sorry...don't you have anyone else to come with you, a
brother, or friend?"
"No, they couldn't come."
"Why?"
"Because they are at her funeral."

Did you hear about the football coach who spent 25 cents to get a
better passing game?
It turned out that what he got was worse than before, so he asked
for his quarterback.

Hey everyone,
I did post this the other day but I thought I might as well just post it again just in-case anyone missed it.
BOSS OC-3 SUPER OCTAVE PEDAL
The BOSS OC-3 Super Octave gives guitarists high-quality octave effects with a single stomp. Three modes are provided, including a new Polyphonic Octave mode, a Drive mode with distortion, and the original OC-2 mode. The versatile OC-3 also works with bass.
World's first compact pedal with true Polyphonic Octave effects
New Drive mode adds distortion to octave notes for a fatter, more aggressive tone
Includes the original OC-2 mode, capable of producing notes one and two octaves down
Poly Octave effect adjustable to play within a specific note range
Bass input for adapting octave sound to bass guitars !
Thanks!

OME - Cast my Vote this Mornin. You were on top at 51, up 11 on the nearest competitor.
ocps470 - It almost seems like the factory got a bad batch of tubes or they didn't screen them as well as they should. Granted, I'm new to the tube amp life (I've only played one rehearsal through the new Boogie, sounded awesome by the way) FOr the tubes to go out that fast... Seems fishy.
VF Rocker - Hey, how the hell are ya? How'sthe newbie and the wife? Post some pics. I hope things are going well for you. Down to 18 mos. of school. Next June will not come fast enough!!.
For the record Heather Locklear gets better lookin every year. Poor Ritchie. Of course, now that she's single ... You think she likes younger men?
Zinc Master - Mozilla is the only way to go!! I only use IE at work because I have to. We got some nasty spyware on ouir home computer using IE but have had no problems at all with Mozilla. In fact sometimes it's too good and you have to turn the blocker down a bit.
Gotta Have Joe - Kayla sent you freind request to your MySpace.
Master Yoda -Good luck with the new guitarist search. Hopefully it won't take you as long as it did us.
