LucySorets: Thanks for the list Lucy. I've been sick this past week so I've not done anything.
I've got none and have nothing.....Damn shame!! Yes, Mick told me JOe charges 50,000 to
perform for "whatever"....I would really love to have a life party. If I ever did get married I'd have JOe perform. No question about that baby!! Those were 2005 prices....lol!

SteeveT... initially i was leaning toward cubase but, honestly my friend i'm soooooo not a computer guy and most definatly not a techy sort ..i'm a beginner when it comes to the computer and software and the hardware needed to accommodate my needs so i'm definately open to suggestons (especally from a T2J friend) as a matter of fact i'm really not the well aquainted w/ the whole electric/electronics end of things as i've played acoustic mostly( only owned 4 electric guitars in my life) but i've p/u a Boss GT-6 and a $100 beater ibanez G-10 and have been havin a blast!!!! Anywho i've got a techy bud who says he'll help me w/ pickin out the propper hardware.. as for the software i'll take your word for it and look forward to any and all suggestions... BTW my E-Mail address is simplelife_ak@yahoo.com please drop me a line !! MT

Davey honey, I have a cold too. Had it for almost 2 weeks. I recommend Jagermeister. Cleans the pipes out a bit. lol! Makes you forget how crappy you feel too :) I learnt that from Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies. A little bit of tonic for a cold cures what ailes ya :-) It's for medicinal purposes only, of course....

Hey, thanks to Ovation, Stevee, SupaaDave, Lucia and Austin for the welcomes back. It's like a time warp coming back.
My news is not that exciting, I've been doing a lot more radio announcing and other things there, band stuff (touring preparation for some exciting stuff - details to come), roll-starting my car, I just recently changed my old beard back to something "normal" and weddings every other Saturday.
About the pie & chips thing, chips tend to be bigger than fries, (they have more potato in them and therefore have a lower concentration of fat and are less bad for you) but are essentially the same thing! Pies however, hmmm. Pies in America tend to be sweet. Here in Oz, say "pie" and the default meaning is a hot savoury pastry containing meat chunks in gravy or mincemeat. We do however have various other savoury pies and dessert pies like apple pies etc but they are made with a different type of pastry (sugary stuff). But I hear in the USA bread is made with sugar in it. Is this true?!?
Just listening to the new P.O.D. CD "Testify" sounds interesting. There's some cool 7 string bits in there. One song reminds me of "The Traveller" from SBM. It's called "Let You Down", it's the wah wah and rhythm guitar sound in the chorus that reminds me of Joe. The rest is nothing like his stuff.
Stevee T: so, I'm still curious...how do my American buddies pronounce this word "snake" for our pronunciation to sound weird?
Here is me playing on location on the beautiful east coast of Tassie at a campsite at Bicheno.
Have a great day all, I'll give it a go. Satch on!!! BEN

I am a session player/teacher though not at your level I make a livin at it.Beats slavin in a job you hate. Last year I injured my hand in an accident and damaged a nerve in my left hand.
My 1st,3rd and 4th fingers are ok but my index finger has pins and needles. Its a little tempromental. I find it frustratin cos I still have the knowledge but my coordination is not what it was. The mind is strong but the flesh is weak.
I have excercises that my physio has set me and most of them I use to warm my hands up before I play ie touching tour thumb with each finger in turn. The doc says it will eventually heal just that nerves take longer.
Do you know any fret board excersises that may improve my dexterity? Thank my lucky stars I was not hurt as bad as my mate Mel Galley. He was in Whitesnake before Steve and wrote Here I Go Again along with most of the Saints and Sinners album. He had a proffesor develope a clamp for his hand and overcame after the doc said he would never play again only to have Coverdale sack him because he didnt want a spastic in his band! Coverdale still owes him royalties to this day! Sounds like a nice geeza(sarcasm!!) Did Steve get his royalties from Whitesnake?
Hrh Fish (Hrh as in his royal highness!!!?)
