Clarky - Okay man, I'll go on the hunt for some Emily Remler. I've seen a Martin Talor album going by that name (or at least something similar) in my local Virgin, so there's just one thing for it I guess!!! By the way, I didn't know you were into Opeth!!! What album/s have you got of theirs? I fucking love that band...

Yesterday I was shopping in Brighton with my girlfriend, and I saw a famous person in River Island menswear; none other than the legendary Peter Andre!!!!! I was so star-struck it's not even funny. Man, that was some proper Insania.... lmao

Jmco1 - Joe has never recorded Beethoven's 5th...
PhryDom - I listened to more Rush tonight--the four albums I mentioned yesterday (A Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres, Test For Echo, Vapor Trails) and Caress Of Steel. :-)
"I really need to get some decent headphones"
I bought a pair of Sony MDR-V300 headphones a few years ago from Amazon for about $30...click here. I love 'em...they have great bass response.
The cord is 10 feet long. That bugs me sometimes when I'm using them with my Discman, but I've gotten used to winding the cord around itself and just stuffing it in my pocket. In the end, it's all good...I'd rather have too much cord than not enough. And the long cord is actually nice when I'm listening to headphones at home...I can move all around the room without having to pause my music.
Anyway, I'd definitely recommend giving these a chance. I don't think they sell them in stores anymore, so you have to get them online (through Amazon or somewhere else)... For only $30, you really can't go wrong.
probuddha - Welcome! :-)
...Austin...

Joe - cool podcast! Just as it started showing the drawings, my screen went green, so I'll check it out again later.
My husband and I are going to see INXS tonight. I should be excited, but I'm not. I'm sure it'll be fun once I get there.
My daughter and I are seeing Motley Crue on Saturday. Now THAT will be fun! lol! I just hope Vince's voice doesn't suck to bad.
Still waiting for a PHILLY TOUR DATE!!
oh, and Virginia too...and Reno...and Alaska...and Dublin...and whatnot...and such....
edit: Now I saw the Ssssssuper Colossssssal video all the way through. I'm seeing a bit of frustration in those drawings. Either that, or Joe has an Idea of what I feel like when I wake up...
Sounds great Joe!
Also LOVE the lessons on the Guitar World cd. I melt like butta when you start playing those bluesy licks. lol!

Hey, my name's Jessie, and I was wondering if anybody know's where I can find the apology letter that Malmsteen sent Joe? Not to intrude on your personal life or anything, but I kinda need it for an english project. I'm supposed to look for a letter online, and do some letter to the editor sorta response thing, I don't know...but I was just hoping someone might know where I could find it online. Much appreciation to whoever can do this for me, because I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I had no problems downloading the video or audio - but would like to have it in my pod.
Any ideas?
I understand - that it may not be possible.
edit
I just saw the directions on the bottom of the page - thanks for thinking ahead for people like me Mr. Webmaster.

Ive heard that Eddie Van Halen Is on the wagon and has not relapsed yet. He also had a cancer scare a while back. As much as I like Sammy (Bette Midler) Hagar Van Halen they did the best stuff with Diamond Dave. I've heard conflicting stories concerning the split with Dave. One story I heard that Dave had Alex's wife !! According to Dave Mustane (Megadeath) it was due to over inflated ego's which is the one I am inclined to believe. They should sort their differences out and get Dave back on board. They were really gettin their shit together by the 1984 album (timless classic!). Surely after twenty years they should be able to sort something out.
Ozzy and Sabbath did it and that was a really nasty divorce. The reunion Sabbath are sounding better than ever now they are sober. Success always softens people up and you loose the hunger and drive. Eddie was always and is still a demon on the guitar though. All this pop idol stuff makes me sick cos it makes it harder for true rock 'n' rollers to brake through.Gareth Gates (UK Pop Idol) or Pete Doherty (Babyshambles) give me Pete Doherty anytime!
The Industry is killing Rock n Roll !! The contracts now not only controll the music they put out it also controlls their behaviour. The cant have relationships during the contract term. Gates cant get involved with anyone for five years from what I've heard about his contract. All this safe sanitised Coca cola / Mcdonald endorsed Brittney types they are feeding the kids now yuck!!! I want stars to be bad asses!! Please, please, please I hope Joe grows old disgracefully.!!!!!
LONG LIVE OZZY / RED HOT CHILLIES AND RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. MORE MUSIC WITH BALLS AND ATTITUDE PLEASE!!!!!!
Went on one a bit there !!!!!!!
HI All esp Zinc Master / Satriella / zen fish / phrydom / peaceandguitars / keniko
PS. I think it was Eddies birfday on feb 12 or its any tim now Appy Birfday geez!

This is the info. I have for knowing there was an apology letter from Malmsteen...
The two had never met in person until this tour, though their paths did cross when Satriani was on the road with Mick Jagger in the late 1980s. "I almost met Yngwie one night when I was playing with Mick Jagger. We were in New York City, and there was some sort of drunken altercation between one of the guys in the band and Yngwie. It was a really funny scene. I’m sitting there with Mick and about 12 other guys, plus the bodyguards, and the horn player says, ‘Who’s this Yngwie guy? I just bumped into him and had a little altercation.’ I turn around and he’s walking toward us, and I said, ‘Okay guys, get ready. Yngwie is not a subtle person, especially when he’s had a few.’ When he walked in, it was like a hyena walking into a lion’s den — he came back there expecting to cause trouble, and then he looked at a bunch of really big guys staring at him like, ‘Yeah, what do you want?’ "
Figuring he had offended Satriani, Malmsteen sent a letter of apology, and the two have been in touch ever since.
I hope someone can really help me find this, I'm in frist period which is a spare and I have 20 mins to find it >_<...and I have english next x_x ! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
