Ethn Hayabusa: lol on your myspace link, you got some good tunes there but clear up that large font/background, lol!!.... Stay kuul man....
Clarky: I have a very simple rig bro.... DD6 delay, CH1 chorus pedal with the Jimmy Dunlop wah (535Q, for my funky side, lol) plus a Yamaha 25W amp (someday soon I will be getting a Laney.... LANEY!!).... Not much to my other stuff, as I have a few Zoom nicknacks laying around, I like to keep it simple and clean.... Also, my Ovation, PGM and JEM are on a constant rotation, and I love to use my Pandora PX4 (with headphones..you know how that goes..keeping the neighbors happy, lol) cause it makes me sound like anyone I want, lmao!!.... One of these days I will get a dedicated PC for recording too, but first and foremost....The fam, lol, and you know how that goes too ;-)
Thank you Mr. Luini, that news made my day!! :-)

Mikesb/Stevee T - Flymans is one of my favs too. FYI - It was recorded in my old flat in Scotland by my best friend Graeme Watt. Graeme is a guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboard player and sound engineer! Don't you hate these people. This is he http://www.watty2000.plus.com/
Of course - its nothing without Slanshroom's playing.
I did send a CD to Vai's home a while back but never been able to get Joe a full released version. I did give him a CDR of it a couple of years ago but it wasnt the same then.

A Catholic man is struck by a bus on a busy street. He is lying near death on the sidewalk as a crowd gathers. "A priest. Somebody get me a priest!" the man gasps. Minutes drag on and no one steps out of the crowd.
A policeman checks the crowd and finally yells, "A PRIEST,PLEASE! Isn't there a priest in this crowd to give this man his last rites?"
Finally, out of the crowd steps a little old Jewish man of at least 80 years of age."Mr. Policeman," says the man, "I'm not a priest. I'm not even a Christian. But for 50 years now I' m living behind the Catholic Church on First Avenue, and every night I'm overhearing their services. I can recall a lot of it, and maybe I can be of some comfort to this poor man."
The policeman agrees, and clears the crowd so the man can get through to where the injured man lay.
The old Jewish man kneels down, leans over the man and says in a solemn voice:
"B-4, I-19, N-38, G-54, O-72"....

Van Halen: The Next 'Rock Star'?
(Feb. 12, 10:50AM ET) -- Sources tell TMZ Van Halen is in the market for a new lead singer, and the marketplace will be the upcoming reality show 'Rock Star: The Series.'
Last October, Van Halen reps vehemently denied the band would use 'Rock Star' in a talent search for a new lead singer. The reps are now singing a different tune. Van Halen publicist Larry Solters told TMZ: "I'm not denying it. I'm not going to answer any questions about it."
Last year, the band INXS used 'Rock Star' to find a new lead singer. J.D. Fortune won the competition, and the band is now making a comeback with a hit new album and a sold-out tour.
As for Van Halen, the group has had three lead singers since it hit the scene back in 1978: David Lee Roth, who left the band in 1985, Sammy Hagar, who split in 1995, and Gary Cherone, who did just one album and tour with the band in 1998.
The next season of 'Rock Star,' produced by Mark Burnett for CBS, is scheduled to air during the summer. Neither Burnett nor CBS would comment on the Van Halen buzz.

Mornin' Satchers,
Keniko - No prob, man - How's things? I'm doing ok here... CD's should be here Thursday, so I'm pretty psyched! Also playing a blues jam up in New Hampshire in April which should be a blast! Hopefully I'll get some audio or video from it and throw it on my site.
Stevee T - Awesome man!! I'll keep you posted on my plans...
alexandrecaetano - Hey bro, thanks very much!! BTW, I was browsing through some photos on foreverjoe.com and found your pic with Joe on there... Also saw you, Mari... very cool!!
DCK - Keep me posted on your studio stuff, man!! I'm really diggin' the electronic twist you throw into your tunes. Very cool stuff!
ZincMaster - I read that about VH... I'm a huge Halen fan and it would be pretty tough to see them do the Rock Star thing, but after VH3, I don't think they could bomb any harder. I saw them in 2004 w/ Sammy and they put on one hell of a show! I guess Sammy didn't want to do anything long term with them. Bummer!

Two couples were playing poker one evening. John
accidentally dropped some cards on the floor. When he
bent down under the table to pick them up, he noticed
that Bill's wife Sue, legs spread wide, wasn't wearing
any underwear! Shocked by this, John upon trying to
sit back up again, hit his head on the table and
emerged red-faced. Later, John went to the kitchen to
get some refreshments.Sue followed and asked,"Did you
see anything that you liked under there?"Surprised by
her boldness, John courageously admitted
that, well, indeed he did.She said, "Well, you can have
it but it will cost you $500."After taking a minute or
two to assess the financial as well as the moral costs
of this
offer, John indicates that he is indeed interested. She
tells him that since her husband, Bill works Friday
afternoons and John doesn't, that John should be at
her house around 2:00 Friday
afternoon. When Friday rolled around, John showed up at
Bill's house for the planned time with Sue at 2:00 PM
sharp and after paying her the agreed sum of $500,they
went to the bedroom and closed their sexual
transaction as Sue had promised. Afterwards, John
quickly dressed and left.As usual, Bill came home from
work at 6:00 PM and upon entering the house, asked his
wife abruptly,
"Did John come by the house this afternoon?" A little
worried, Bill's wife answered,"Why yes, he did stop by
for a few minutes this afternoon." Her heart nearly
skipped a beat when her husband curtly asked, "And did
he give you $500?" In terror, she assumed that somehow
he'd found out, and after mustering up her best poker
face, replied,"Well, yes,in fact he did give me $500."
Bill, with a satisfied look on his face, surprised
his wife by saying,"Good, I was hoping he did. He came
by the office thismorning and borrowed $500 from me.
He promised he'd stop by the house this afternoon and
pay me back."
NOW THAT'S A POKER
PLAYER!!

Blue Moon Very, very nice story... I play poker a lot, usually there aren't any girls, but from now I think my cards or chips will magically fall to the ground if there are...lol. That story was too good!

I love(d) Van Halen too. I missed the 2004 tour though. VH3 wasn't that bad music - but it wasn't Van Halen.
To me, it would beneath them to do Rock Star - but it would fit.
Sammy was upset that it took them months to only finish those 3 songs - he thought Eddie wasn't going fast enough.
Dave wants back in the band - but they apparently don't want him back.

Your post made me think of the AC/DC song - blow up the radio (or something like that) - I think I have it on my iPod, must check.
The video was very funny.
