Cube, I just listened to the tracks from the T2J2 cd - awesome! This is going to be great! I'm not going to be the first on my block to order it though. I don't want another Badger techno cd! I'll give it a day or so. LOL!
All the tracks sound killer, but the one that sat me straight up was track 3 - BLOWOUT by Aarren Mowle. Crunchy, yet satisfying!! Me likey! I can't wait to hear all the tunes in full!
I dunno, I might not be able to wait till later to order it. lol! Damn that Badger!!!
p.s. - Davey Wavey's track isn't up?

The new T2J CD sounds great....maybe I'll have to "suck it up" this time and buy one.
Aarren Mowlie....."Blowout" sounds wicked....all I have to say is...."Get out of my head man"....you must have tuned into my brain somehow...!
Edit : I did listen to all the tracks and they're all very good ;)
I can't remember if it was PhryDom or Cube that I talked to about decent recording units. Anyways I took the easy way out and bought a Fostex MR-8 on E Bay. I've been playing for over 20 years and I don't know squat about recording anything. So I figured it was a good place to start. Maybe by the time a 3rd CD is produced I can actually be a part of it.
Peace, SD

Hello, this is probably the first time I posted... anyway... I got the Premium package for the Toronto show on April 12... unfortuantely I have a Biomechanics and Motor control laboratory exam that day from 2-5... does anybody have any idea what time the preshow events are? If I end up having a conflict it'll really really really REALLY suck...
Thanks!

Simon (962) and others who visit Andy Timmons site will have read the following quote from Mike Daanes (Andy's bass player) regarding Andy's upcoming release. The last line pretty much sums up the whole history of rock'n'roll in one line...
Wish I coulda come up with something so witty and profound for the liner notes for Talk2Joe Echo..
"We set the bar pretty high for this record and we all feel like it measures up. We wanted the songs to be the main priority while still throwing some wow factor. I'm pretty sure that anybody who has ever picked up a guitar will appreciate this record, but with any luck, we'll get one step closer to our ultimate goal......... girls."

I could be intrested in your liquidation. Do you have some pictures of the guitars? What would you like to see as a price after conversion to US dollars?

Ok, question for all guitarists here. I think I know what most answers will be, but asking anyway. Here's my situation: I'll be graduating high school in a few months and, for the 1st time ever, I have the chance to get pretty much anything I want (yea, early graduation present!). For me, they knew right away it would be something related to music. I'm most likely thinking of going with a nice tube amp. Right now, after some amp testing, the two amps I'm trying to decide between are the Peavey JSX and a Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier Solo 50. Both are amazing amps.
Suggestions? Even suggestions on other amps to test out? The store by me only sells a few brands, Peavey, Mesa, Marshall, Fender, Ibanez, and Crate. Mesa and Peavey are the only ones that I'm really interested in... Marshall's are way overpriced, I don't think many would leave with a Marshall when there are Peavey's and Mesa's stacked up next to them for trying out. There are no Soldano or Laney dealers around me, so don't bring them up.
