A couple of years back you came to Montreal for a great show with Steve Vai and Ingui Momsteen. I was sad when the tour with Robert Fripp did not make it.

Why not again? Montreal is a great music town and the birth place of many great rock bands and musicians. Great fans here! Not to speak of the great night life. The French Canadians are different than other Canadians, very latin.

I think that the Montreal fans would be grateful for your visit during your next tour. You can count me in!

I like this Just Like Lightnin' clip more than Super Colossal. It sounds more promising, but (once again) I really have to wait to hear the whole thing before I can say more...

Hrh Fish - Hi... I looked back at the Van Halen thing I wrote...sorry if I came across as mean/angry. That wasn't my intention at all. I think Dave has proved time and time again that he just doesn't have it anymore, so a reunion featuring him would be a laughing stock. I wasn't trying to be mean though...we're cool, right?

Anyway, to answer one of your other questions. You can't post photos here, but you can post links to photos.

gotta have Joe - You should get a program such as Get Right, which allows you to pause downloads and finish them later.
highwayman - Joe doesn't seem to have a problem with fans taking photos during shows (just look at all the pictures up on this site), but most venues don't allow it.
Blue Moon - Check out the Get Right program I mentioned above.
mthead101 - Happy birthday! :-)
tulsachops - Hi...I was at that show at the Greek Theatre as well. It was so cool to see Joe and Steve jam together, and I liked how Steve let Joe play the main riff to lead into Smoke On The Water. It's such a small gesture, but it was cool.

I think the best solo of the night was Steve's on Highway Star, though...

...Austin...

Jon...I had an idea for the site... maybe you can put somewhere who is on... like the memebers and the visitors. For the memebers, you could do like there nicknames. Whata think?

what do you other guys and gals think?

Is the kid in the pic in the first row in the middle, Joe's boy?

Suzie, yeah and you know what baffles me - it obviously costs more to ship stuff overseas, we all expect that when we get an international import, so surely Sony are missing an opportunity to make some extra $$$ out of airmail fees?!

As for show dates being announced.....I dunno, I'd hope we'll get at least a couple of months notice on Joe's tour dates....we usually do. Fingers crossed :-)

well, i guess i need to start paying attention in here and posting more often. ive been in the regular Satch chat for about 2 or 3 months, and this is totally different from that. i feel so left out...... now i dont, cuz here i am now.... geez that was lame lol oh well hmmmmm..... i cant wait to see wut im getting for my b-day though. i might be getting a new guitar.....

oh yeah, i need some advice on wut to do. im having a skool trip to NY city on march 24. but im getting some b-day money. should i spend the money on the trip to NY or should i save up for a super chorus pedal by boss. im leaning toward the 2nd option though. i guess the real question is, is there a difference between the regular chorus pedal and the super chorus pedal. i see a slight diff, but i dont reall know (only heard samples from boss's online site) i own a boss me-50 and it has chorus. so wut should i get?

timnofy If you already have the Boss ME-50, you really wont need the Boss Super Chorus, the ME-50 probably has one or more chorus effects in it, which I'm sure you could probably nail the same sounds you'd get from the Super Chorus. Hope that helps.

-Listening to two amazing songs Vai played: Beethoven's 5th and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Somewhere over the rainbow is so good, if you haven't heard Steve Vai's version, I suggest you check it out. Also, looked for some videos of Paul Gilbert, seeing him play Scarified was crazy (I'm working on that song and BRO at the time, along with a ton of other songs by Vai.) I even saw Paul & Bruce from '88 playing Scarified...their harmonizing is incredible!

Hi,Mr.Joe this is Justin.I was just wandering how you were doing? Goodluck on your new album.Last week I and my band was a bout to do a gig next month. So we went to practice and one of the guys stole my brand new guitar pedal that I had just bought didn't even get to play with it.I had just bought it to.I am really pissed about that to.I just wanted to tell you have something new on your album thats tricky for me cause I can play everything you've done so far. With no problem.Make it really hard ok.Any way my band busted up cause they did me wrong on my pedal.I got angry about that to.Because I wrote all the songs came up with all the melodies and guitar soloes. So now I am on my own like you.Well I got to go Good luck with everything. And rock on bro.Justin.

Keniko- Your link to your son's webpage by the way worked fine here... don't know what happened there then? He is a very gifted artist, you should be very proud :)

962- I agree. A while back I bought a signed CD from John 5's website of "Songs For Sanity"- wasn't too much extra either to get a signed copy- and his label isn't so well known, "Shrapnel Records." So if they can ship overseas, why not SONY??? I had an e-mail back from the customer services team at Sony, their advice was to check the UK version of the site, but when you search for Satch, he's not even listed as a signed artist?? I know it's "Epic" but surely it's all part of the same company so what the...? Anyway nothing more frustrating than a bit of red tape to stop you getting a CD!
