gottahavejoe......Hey ! ! ! I'm doing great. How are you? I'm lovin' the Podcasts also. This is awesome technology. Hugs

Speaking of Joe's Podcasts. I've subscribe to update Podcasts automatically. The problem is iTunes loads the previous ones in my Podcast Playlist. Is this normal? I really don't see a preference setting to solve this issue. The more Podcasts become available the more doubles I have to delete. Is there a work around? Let me know. Thanks

Hi guys... I'm about eight pages behind right now (I got sick and haven't felt like being on the computer much). I'll catch up later, but I wanted to take a moment to say that Redshift Riders is the coolest thing I've heard from Joe in several years. I absolutely LOVE it...

K, got this in an email, it's kinda funny...I might have been one of these people at some point, LOL......

DO YOU KNOW THE IDIOTS ...IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD:

I live in a semi-rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road.

The reason: "Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore." From Kingman, KS.

IDIOTS IN FOOD SERVICE:

My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco. She asked the person behind the counter for "minimal lettuce." He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg.

IDIOT SIGHTING:

I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked, "Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge? To which I replied, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?" He smiled knowingly and nodded, "That's why we ask. "

IDIOT SIGHTING:

The stoplight on the corner buzzes when its safe to cross the street. I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for? I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red. Appalled, she responded, "What on earth are blind people doing driving?!" She was a probation officer in Wichita, KS

IDIOT SPEAKING:

At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker....She was leaving the company due to "downsizing." Our manager commented cheerfully, "This is fun. We should do this more often." Not another word was spoken. We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare. This was a bunch at Texas Instruments.

IDIOT SIGHTING:

I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself and for the sake of her own life, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on. A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriffs office no less.

IDIOT SIGHTING:

When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the drivers side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. "Hey," I announced to the technician, "its open!" His reply, "I know - I already got that side."

This was at the Ford dealership in Canton, Mississippi!

STAY ALERT! They walk among us ... and they VOTE and REPRODUCE

Hi Joe,

I've been wanting to do this for a while now! My husband has been a huge fan of yours for so many years. He appreciates your music especially the instrumental. I knew about you before I met him but when he reintroduced me to you it was a whole new world. He's been to as many as your concerts as possible. He also attended all the G3 concerts in Vancouver or anywhere near here. He drove down to Seattle WA too. This past summer he introduced your music to our kids. (Daughter 5, son 3) They seem to love it too. We were in Italy at the time and coincidentally enough we were driving past a small town called Satriani!! Did you know there was such a town? I wish I took a pic with the actual sign and the town. My husband's Grandma (Nonna - in italian) lives 5-10 minutes from Satriani so we'd see it every time we drove down to the beach from her hometown. This one day my husband puts your CD in and plays this song -"I Believe"- and sings it to the kids. They ask that he play it again, and again and soon they know all the words. It was so nice. He'd play it and they would all sing. Who'd of thought. This was back in Aug of 2005. A couple of weeks ago (Feb 06) as we were driving along (of course we're back home in Vancouver now) my daughter tells me that she wants to hear that song from Italy. There was a lot of songs she heard there. Then she thought a while and said "that one that daddy sang to us...I beleive" It took me a while and then it clicked. So when we went home I told my husband and he called her over and played it. I asked her what it reminded her of and she said "It reminds me of Italy when we used to drive to the beach from Greatgrandma's (Bisnonna - in Italian) house." I thought that was so awesome! I have a picture of this town Satriani and would love to send it to you. I won't send it unless you let me know you would like it. I will also let you know exactly where it is...if you don't know already. I just wanted to share that with you.

PS When do you think you'll be playing in Vancouver, BC Canada again?? Or even Italy??

Just bought a new little amp, and really love it- it's called an "Ashdown Acoustic Radiator"- and is just brilliant for plugging in the electro-acoustics... Such a clean, warm sound. I would recommend it!

Hope you're having a good day all :)

Hi everyone and Joe. I just wanted to say i have just watched the new webcasts and i am really looking forward to gettin your new album! it sounds like some of your best work yet. Its cool to see your music taking a new direction and you pushing yourself.

Its a shame your not coming to the U.K at the moment, are you planning to come soon? I was lucky enough to meet you once at the royal albert hall after the G3 with robert fripp. We had a chat for a while and you signed my guitar. I gave Steve Vai a Joe Satriani key ring, which he found funny.

hope to hear from you, Dan.

Stevee T "wow...now all I need is practice..." I think that all the time, even thought I play & practice for hours everday! lol. I've mentioned this before...I've been playing for a while, almost more than half my life (18 now, started playing when I was about 6), but I always have to impress myself when I play (I read in an interview that Yngwie was exactly the same.) I'm constantly pushing myself on guitar (dedication and inspiration goes a loooong way!) I just finished figuring out Paul Gilbert's 'BRO', that takes a TON of patience! I've probably played that at least 200 times in the past day and a half at various speeds, making sure I have it pretty clean and down. I can't wait to finally record my own songs and have everybody check them out, you'll be able to hear the Satch, Vai, Gilbert, Malmsteen, and countless others in my playing.

Suzo...I thought your hubba was the acoustic man...and that you primarily sang + pianoized...you play guitar/acoustic....too?

Guitarmeister...it's amazing how much one has to practice to make truely noticable progress, but if you love it....the time flies by too fast....

Rob310...very good....yourself?

johnw3....welcome.....enjoy!
