SteveeT: I've not been to either venue.....I love GA shows but the Boston gig is seated & I have a feeling the lighting and sound will be superb!!! Take your pick...I'd choose both.

Michelle: I asked him if he was an AMerican Indian and he said YES. Ikuto could've answered me honestly or just answered me.....I would've talked to him about his Japanese heritage because I love the culture...I am "Satch Samurai" . It's been a huge interest of mine along with the American Inian culture....All I wanted was to "learn more about the people" . I understood completely by what Al was doing. I said "maybe it was me" didn't I?!! I've slammed and been slammed.... Let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone. I apologized by email to you & Traci and now I'll say I'm sorry to AL, and the entire WORLD. So now that you slammed me publicly, I guess you've made the world right huh? It doesn't help that he instigated, THAT was my point!! So yes everyone, I can be a real bitch when I have NO sleep & my period!! If it's so damn obvious then why not back off huh?! No, let's start shit with Mari!! have some fun till we totally pisss her off eh?!!.....Thanks for sharing that with everyone Michelle. I just wanted company, someone to talk to.... kinda pathetic I am if you ask me....that's gonna change.

I really do appreciate your insight Michelle. I should've just walked away. I don't go in there with any intention other than talking with "friends". Yes, there is an "in" crowd. Always will be one. And I won't be a part of it........ Nuff said.

Hello Mr. Sat, I wanted to say how it would be great if you could make it to my town of Altoona, Pa. We hosted a Bob Dylan concert at our minor league feild and had a great turn out, but have yet to have any concerts since. From what I undertand, before I was born, Altoona hosted a lot of great musicians. I hope Altoona can continue to hold concerts at our home town teams feild. I can't think of a better person to see there than you, maybe you could try to make this possible. I will travel anywhere to hear your music, but I would love if this could come true. Thank you Mr. Sat

hi joe, my name is michael im 19 and from australia, ive been playing guitar 4 7 yrs now and i just wanna say that you and jimi hendrix are my favourite guitarist, not because you guys are rated the best but because of the way yous play. Yous play with feel instead of trying 2 play 2 show off 2 every1 like 4 example the G3 Live in Denver when yas played little wing, steve and yngwie were playing all these fast runs and so on then you come in with a nice blues solo full of feeling nothin hard but it suited the song. Any ways i love ya playing and please come back 2 australia cause i missed ur concert here, keep on putting out albums. Michael

Michelle, Traci & AL: I was just wondering....I thought friends looked out for one another? If it's so damn obvious that I'm in a bad mood/having a bad day wouldn't a "friend" be extra kind or nice? I am that way to my patients and they are strangers.

Just to let you know I've been on the verge of crying all day and when I finally got home I haven't stopped.

Peace

DCK: Well my day has been shitt. I've been wanting to cry all day but I finally broke down when I got home. I've not stopped crying........Actually my day (Tuesday) wasn't terrible (just didn't sleep the night before & had my period) You all know the details anyway.......My day turned from bad to worse when I went into the chat.........story of my life. And I thought I was among friends....silly me. Live & Learn a BIG lesson. Ummm, So how has your day been?!! I'm sure it was better than mine DCK dude. I've now redefined several important aspects or definitions of life........ I'm learning new "Life Lessons" every day.....

Cuthbert1776.. If your into the outdoors and all the best fishing and hunting anywhere then you'll love Alaska...No State Tax.. a PFD, wonderful people and great job ops... Mikesb stole the words right out of my mouth.. My e-mail address is simplelife_ak@yahoo.com. i'll drop you a line as soon as i get some free time...i'm sure you guys will love it up hear... Alaska Rocks!!!!! MT

Guitarmiester... In my humble opinion the jam was very good...i also put a lot of pressure on myself... i think its because we listen to sooooo many great and inspirational musicians that we 'push' ourselves to be as good as we want to be ( which sometimes leads to frustration in comparrison ) but you certainly got the 'tude goin on and the talent to pull it off.. SteveeT stole the words out of my mouth this time but, be grateful you've a least got a 4 track recorder to capture you stuff.. a luxury i dont have right now..very frustrating indeed... but anywho i'll be lookin forward to more great stuff my man ( already on 'my favs' list ) thanx bro !!! MT

Gotta have Joe... Young lady don't let anyone tell you what Joe thinks unless they can read his mind or have been declared by joe himself to speak for him !! I think Joe is far too understanding to be freaked or frightened by such an adoring fan!!!! MT

all - a handful of new tour dates added-- check 'em out in the road section. also, premium ticket onsales happening tomorrow for the following dates:

4/2 Kansas City, MO
4/3 Omaha, NE
4/9 Detroit, MI
4/13 New York, NY
4/14 Boston, MA

keniko - the duplicate video podcast problem you describe i tracked down to being related to the URL of the videos changing (they moved to a sony server). apparently iTunes figures that even though you already have the episode, since the url is different, you should download it again. it isn't a problem for the audio version, and future episodes won't have this problem since they won't be moving again :} just nuke the dups and you'll be golden.

doug doppler - hey man, good to see you here at satriani.com! also was nice to see you gettin' your due and really kickin' into the next gear joining joe and neal back at that show in dec. i still remember running into you back at the first live joe webcast we did in 1998! and look, there's still some photos and editorial archives here. continued best luck w/ favored nations!

Gotta have Joe... Your frineds here at T2J can always give you info such as dates; names and places and such but no one can tell you how he thinks or feels.. and besides joe has replied to you..what..3 times already !! No little lady i don't think you frighten him at all :) P.S. when you're ready to go to the prom .. i'm sure Uncle Steveet, Keniko and many others here besides myself want to see this young mans "Merit" badges if he lucky enough to take out someone who loves Joe the way you do !!! hehe MT

Hey Jon / Webmaster san..... Wheres the Alaska date??...just wonderin... BTW thank you very much for all your efforts...have a good one Jon !! MT

marimariSRV... This too shall pass !! Spoken like a true 'Satch Samuri" and like the Beatles said 'let it be'... it aches my heart to see such good people argue over such things. Please reconcile... remember were all here at T2J because were struck by 'Joe ' not just his music ..please take the jacket off of ' Not of this Earth' and look what Joe wrote ( cant quote ver batum ) .. thats the way to be. Also i've had many 'bad days' and can relate ( except the period thing)hehe. i really hope your feelin better soon.. and look at it this way...'it can only get better' so come on people drop all the BS and lets get on with the really important stuff like Joes new CD!!!!! and laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning etc, etc, etc hehehehe Luv, Hugs and all that greasy kid stuff!! DCK, hey man, thanks for checking out my new tune! I'm a bit annoyed with how badly mixed it sounds on the mp3 tho, ah well, that'll teach me for not buying proper monitors to work with!
civgeek, hey no problem. I hope you do get that album, it's great, and Pablo is such a legend.....there's a song on there in Japanese, and I wish I could remember what it all means 'cuz it's hilarious, but it's also a really beautiful melody! Great stuff...

Hi there... I'm from Prague (Czech Republic) and I don't know when was Joe in Czech last time... I think Joe has a lot of fans there so you're certainly welcome! ;) Please try to come to Czech, it's a small country but with strong people who loves good music, good beer etc. And Czech Rep. is in the middle of europe so it'll be good for other countries like Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia etc. They have it so close to our country and they could come... ;) I know, you have lot of things to do, but if you find some time, try to visit Czech and do some concert... It'll be fine... (poor wish by poor fan)

So bye, and i hope you'll receive that massage and post me some answer... :)

Okay, I'm all caught up now...

Guitarmiester - I'm way up in the third balcony for the Dream Theater gig in New York. I'm in the center though, so that's good. You're on the floor, right? Keep in touch...it'd be nice to find you and say "hey" at the gig.

pekyakya - "HI anyone know about presale passwords?"

I don't know what show you're asking about, but I've found in the past that presale passwords are usually fairly easy to guess. If you're asking about a presale for one of Joe's upcoming shows, try something like "Satch", "Super", or "Colossal". I've found that the call letters of local radio stations are often used as passwords as well (if it's their presale).

Stevee T - Thanks...I feel like I'm almost back to 100%. I got sick in such a stupid way, so I'm glad it doesn't seem to be lasting long.
frankt2525 - The game is NASCAR 2006 for the PS2.

Talking of big hugs....there is a big one coming your way MThead101...sorry about the satelite delay....there are so many friends on here I keep losing track! Course you didn't offend me...how could a SLAM-A-TOCIOUS hug offend anyone eh?!

Delfino - Ah...glad you av calmed down a bit....prodigy are from my home town...they're great...got a few albums myself....actually one of them bought my mums old house in Braintree and another one bought my grans old place....that was a coupld of years ago...i think they still got them. My mum says the lead singer is "A lovely boy!!!" hehehe not sure he would want people to hear him discribed as that or not? :-)

PeaceandGuitars - whats all this "am fine"...is that all you got to say to us...c'mon you can do better than that sweety....I know so cos I've read your previous posts...where has the REAL peaceandguitars got to? Big hug to help you feel better than am fine!

Guitarmeister - Just listening to The Trooper...wow true to your name...you are a guitarmeister indeed....no wonder he asked you to do the guitar...the sound quality does go a bit fuzzy at the end....but your playing still shines through.....sorry I can't get all technical with yaz :-) You will have to ask a few others in here for that kind of thing! so where do we hear your stuff then?

Hugs Satriella xx

For anyone who wants to check it out..I just drew the first picture of something other than a face that I've done since I was 15.....phew that was a looooooooooong time ago!

I got a good friend to check it out first and he has given it the AOK...apparently it does look like the car it is supposed to be....I wouldn't av a clue myself :-)

Hello Satchaholics!

I just checked out the video podcasts for Super Colossal and I must say I am as excited as a blind lesbian at a fish fry for the release of the new album.

Joe:

I love the way you change the texture of your music album to album. It allows me to rediscover auditory flavors as time goes by. Thanks for the new stuff and I will see you on the road!

Haha...I'm assuming the 'lead' singer is Keith Flint (the guy who did the vocals for 'Firestarter')...he's awesome I've met him twice, once at the demo for Reason 3.0 and once in Birmingham on the day of the show for their most recent tour.

Although, in the video I posted I reckon he looks like a fashion designer.
