I did a web search the other day looking for my best friend at school. This guy turned me on to Joe Satriani, I typed his name in and his site came up. If any of you are into horror films and special fx you should check it out/ He's worked on Hellraiser trilogy and Candyman loads of behind the scene picture's.....

Two mean old men arguing in the bar at christmas one says to the other
"Ive got your Christmas present."
His mate says
" I hope it was better than last year you gave me an empty box."
The other says
"Why what was wrong with it? It was a perfectly good coffin. Took me hours to dig it up

howdy everyone--- just posted a new video greeting from joe to y'all on the home page. also just sent out a new email newsletter for everyone who's signed up about everything that's going on... i also included a link to the webcast which doesn't officially launch until tomorrow. try to refrain from posting here-- i wanted it to be a special treat to folks who are on the list :}
Hrh Fish - email photos to webmaster@satriani.com and i'll get to them... eventually!
blue moon - the podcast video is strictly for the iPod so that's why it's quicktime7. you should be fine with it as long as you're computer isn't more than like 5 years old or so :} later on down the line i might convert 'em to another format for compatability (real/wm/flash) but that's low priority right now.

Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but are we allowed to take photos at Joe's concerts. I am going to the Houston show. I have not been to a concert in many years and back then taking pics was not allowed. Thanks

After looking around on this site, it would appear that fans do take pics at Joe's concerts. I just want to make sure before I take my camera to the show. If anyone knows how to get permission for taking photos at Joe's concerts I would appreciate any info on this. I just want some for my own personal use. Thanks

You do ave to get perrmission. Most security at venues will confiscate cameras so if ya do try make sure they wont find it when they give you the pat down

I just read the rules for the venue at which the show is at. They permit cameras, but only if the artist allows them. I guess I just need to find out if they are permitted for the show I am gong to.

Hey Joe, I really want to learn to play better, i've been playing for about 4 years now, and have almost gotten nowhere. IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY FRUSTRATING, AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! What do you suggest that I start off learning? (besides theory i'm in the process of learning it, somewhat)

Hi Joe, You know when I first heard the forgotten I was driving, and you know when your bends go higher up the neck the emotion was so intense I almost had to pull over.
You communicate so well through the instrament we love.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I have to wait and check out all the cool videos tomorrow on my brothers Apple, quicktime isn't working on the computer I'm using!!! And we got a present of the stuff a day early! That gives me two reasons to update my computer, (1)need a better computer for recording (2)for times like these when we get webcasts early! and to handle the latest players and all that. Was looking at the pics though, looked through all the rehearsal pics, very cool...I'll have to check out the show pics tomorrow. It's late (and I'm watching G3 in Tokyo...again.) Can't wait for the new album!
