js1200js1000, aww dude, that put a real big smile on my face man! I'm really happy to help, and if me helping you has given you some more positive perspective then I'm thrilled!

I once worked for about 6 months in the Deisgn and Technology department of a local boarding school. I was just working as a general workshop assistant, helping kids cut wood and drill holes and al that stuff, but my supervisor was the technician and he is the most helpful, generous guy on the planet.

Working with him and seeing how happy he was to help people really inspired me and made me realise the importance of trying to be good to people who deserve it.

I dunno man, but it seems that giving you a little help with your guitar stuff has given you a similar sort of experience/insight/whatever, and I think that's really cool! So thanks, I'm honored!

Wish I was round the corner so I could listen over the whammy section of "Searching" for you. The main thing though is that you're happy with the way you're playing it....if it sounds recognisable that's great, and if it sounds cool while you're playing it that's the only other thing that matters!

As we're on the subject of working out other people's stuff - sometimes it's useful to just sit and listen to the section of the song you're working on....leave the guitar on it's stand and just listen closely to the notes and how they're being played and in what order!

Rock on bro, have fun with "Searching"....much respect to you for working on such an epic tune!

Joe, See you at the House of Blues April 6th and very much looking forward to it! Give me some lesson recommendations in the Chicago area for my left handed 5 year out Les Paul player named Joe Pignato. He studies you, along with Steve Vai, John Pettrucci & Henry Garza from Los Lonely Bros. Watch for him in the future, Joe he has it at age 5! Peace! Waffle Eater

Do The Stu - I saw that show in Portland. I'm not a big Lenny fan but was cool to see him perform. Seeing Aerosmith was an experience that makes one smile when he thinks about it. How was your show?

Got my tickets to see Joe in Denver yesterday!!!! That makes me smile too!

Joe - Hows it going? Do you have enough people for your road crew? I have a class A commercial license and I am looking for something to do.

Rob310...the JS2 PRM has a phase switch....it really adds a glassier sound to the front pick-up if the coil tap is pulled ...I used that setting primarily on this tune...if you what to hear the effect it has....

Satriella - lol, yes you are very right! I think nice was an understatement but i reckon 962 knows what i mean!

962 - well i'm impressed and quite surprised! I think last time i was around here you hadn't had anything recorded or very little so to see so much work on there is great! It does sound very professional as well - what you using for recording?

In my last year or so away from here I have really let my guitaring go and have hardly played! just getting back into again at last so hopefully will have some of my own creations up at some point!

Hey Joe, first time posting. Been an admirer of your talent for years. I noticed that your tour starts 4/1 in Denver. If you're not doing anything 3/31, pop on down to the Tempe (Arizona) Music Festival. Playing that day are Greg Koch, Willie Porter, Arc Angels (with Charlie Sexton & Doyle Bramhall), Eric Johnson and Jeff Beck. It would be great if you could jam with any of these guys. See ya on the road, hopefully a show in Phoenix later on.

peaceandguitars - No I don't think anyone does :-) but I think we would all be worried if we didn't see his name at least...he is a very regular poster! yay good to seee you chatting !

hmmmm comments on drugs...all valid points...there have been a lot of great songs come out of drugs...there are a lot of things to consider...as with any prescribed drug or alcohol...the effect they have is very individual to the person taking the drug....I used to do a lot of different drugs...but I had a "good teacher" who knew limits and when to and not to take certain ones and I was sensible enough not to take really addictive ones.. well hard drugs that is...I was addicted to tobacco i have to admit...but not any more! i have to admit to trying heroin, but only the once and I had vowed to only do it once from the start no matter how it made me feel...
Having said that if you don't like it then no I don't think you should mix with people who do cos it is gonna cause unease...even if they are in your band...I haven't done drugs for a lot of years now and I don't mix with those who do...I wouldn't condemn them or anything and I wouldn't advise anyone to take them or smoke or drink for that matter...they are all as bad as each other! And I have lost, ie they died, quite a few friends to drugs in the past...and I also see the long term effects of those I used to hang with who are still doing that kind of thing and its not pretty!.....anyway I am glad that I live a much healthier life now cos it really shows..but at the same time to be honest I don't think I suffered any particular bad effects from when I did do them...though I do have a bad memory...but I think thats just me.....anyway that is my two pence worth!

962 - thought so :-)...oh, how is more than words coming along? the tune...not the words, obviously if you get my drift. So you haven't got lyrics to Silver Rain, Hammered, Eye of Ra, Revolve, Time Boogie, Red square, Airhead, Powerhouse...ummmm oh struggling now...its that memory loss I was talking about...anyway you haven't got lyrics to all your golden oldies then?

Ollyno1uk - Wow April 2 2005, you bin gone almost a year!Hey if we do end up at the same gig together 962 can introduce me to you then...actually he will have to introduce himself as well come to think of it, hehe, as I only have a rough idea of what he looks like...I will recognise him if he is laying on the floor with a hat over his face though....you are going to the London gig if joe comes i take it? I am determined to get there...never seen him before but I have been a fan for about 10 years or so.

OK that's enough waffle for one night me thinks!

Take care all

Hugs Satriella xx

Oh I'm back just remembered 2 more things

1. I only discovered by accident a couple of days ago that messages from people who have looked at my pictures on Photoclick were in my junk mail box...and they only stay in there for 5 days...so if any of you posted me a message and I didn't reply that's cos I didn't see it, I've now lost it and I'm very sorry about that!

2. In my line of work for BA we see names from all over the world...a couple that have made us chuckle in the office are
Mun Chan Chew
Ty Ping Wong

hmmmm no laughs...well maybe you had to be in the office at the time!

Hugs again Satriella xx
