YES !!! I now have platinum tickets for the Paramount Theatre in Austin Texas, and we live in the UK. So we will be flying out on the 26th from London Heathrow...this will be so cool. Mikesb...so much for me saying i will wait till Joe comes to Europe!!!! I booked the tickets at 1 o' clock this morning and was so excited i could not sleep "all" night. I am sooo tired today though. I must get back to work now though and try to concentrate(that is going to be a difficult one) !!! I don't even know where i am going to stay when i get there yet.....so much to do, but this is going to be loads of fun. This will be the first time i see Joe "LIVE" so i thought i'd go all out and make it really special.........Just need time off work now!!!!

I found his book at my local library - just requested it. When I have the chance I will try to read it.

Thanks for the thought - I still think it would be difficult to return to a non-fixed standard (since gold / silver values increase and decrease hourly).

First Post. Hello Satch Fans, I have my tickets for the Toronto Show at Massey Hall. I saw Joe here the last time he toured T.O. and remember him commenting on how cool he thought the theatre was. We all agree with him.

Anyway, I have an Ibanez RG with a floating trem and now I'm in trem set up hell. Does anyone have any good info on how to set action and properly lock it down?

Can't wait until Joe Rocks T.O.

Nags.

962: Have you ever played a dual recto? I tried one out in a store, and I thought it had a very dry sound to it......it seemed alot like the new Marshalls, lots of gain, but no sustain or liquid feel to it. The Eq didn't seem horribly responsive. I'm not sure if it needs to be cranked all the way up to sound half way decent. It also seemed that if you have a light picking touch (like me) the amp doesn't respond well. It seems like heavy picking pushes the amp into saturation....sounded better when my buddy peter played through it (he has a monster, ridiculously heavy right hand haah!). We were able to get a nearly identicle recto sound out of the JSX's red channel, except it had a better saturated feel to it.

Just heard about the show in April at the Nokia in Grand Prairie, TX. Me, my wife and a friend of mine are heading to Austin that weekend and hopefully we can catch you at the Paramount on that Friday night. See you then. Oh! One quick tech question. How do you get that effect on Searching on the G3? What pedal was doing that?

Damn! You guys are frickin' maniacs... I just blinked and I'm behind 10 pages... hittin' the pipe while you type or somethin? <<<<<<< J O K I N G >>>>>>>>

Cuthbert- I thought I tuned in to the History Channel by mistake or something.

NammMan- Too bad Usher and Kanye didn't shoot each other...

Blue_Moon- I hear they are marketing a device now to improve wrist action. It's called a weed-eater or speed-beater or somethin', supposed to improve pick attack. :-)

962- I got a great deal on a S470 becasue it was the pukey Moonshadow or Moonscape or whatever they called it (it turned out to be Lavender) and I hated it. I sent it back for a refund. The damn thing was so heavy and thick. Fat is an understatement, it just sounded dull. I got a strat instead and love it. IB makes some sweet guitars but the S-series isn't/aren't one of them. Go for a JS or nothing...

Zinc- Enjoyed your jokes while loungin on my couch... EEEEOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!!! Damn thing bit me.

SupaaDave- Thanks for mentioning the word 'Fender'. I use a 100W FM212 and it has the purest clean channel I've ever heard. Yes, there are still some pickers that like it clean...

Mikesb- You continue to impress me. I have a bootleg version of Zappa playing Sofa #9 unplugged with no vocals--it's great. Ick Ben Der Chrome Dinette. Napoleon Murphy Brock is hilarious on One Size Fits All. I like San Berdino... in fact, My name is Bobby and I look like a potato. Also, Rory Gallagher!?!?!?!? You've gotta be frickin' kidding! He was my favorite back in the day! Remember Saint or Sinner or was it Sinner or Saint. "Better get used to being my used to be..." Great stuff. Ressurrect my brain cells!

Satriella- Smoochie

I have noticed on the tour schedule with Eric Johnson the closest you come to Louisville, Kentucky is Chicago, IL. I hope to see you come to Louisville sometime. I want to take my husband ( a big fan of both ) to see you guys. There are some great places to hold the concert here in Louisville and a great fan base of jazz and blues. I think you would have huge success here! Thanks for considering....

tulsachops...Yes..I think Fenders do have one of the best clean channels on the market. Roland is'nt very far behind either. They make a 2 X 12 combo thats hard to beat. And honestly I've never played a Marshall that I liked...sounds like it's stuffed with cottonballs or something. Peace, SD
