Doug Doppler: Would you care to post any of the lessons Joe gave you that were particualrily useful? I'd be interested just from a point of pure curiosity to see what Joe's teaching style is/was like.

Hi everyone and Joe. I just wanted to say i have just watched the new webcasts and i am really looking forward to gettin your new album! it sounds like some of your best work yet. Its cool to see your music taking a new direction and you pushing yourself.

Its a shame your not coming to the U.K at the moment, are you planning to come soon? I was lucky enough to meet you once at the royal albert hall after the G3 with robert fripp. We had a chat for a while and you signed my guitar. I gave Steve Vai a Joe Satriani key ring, which he found funny.

hope to hear from you, Dan.

Stevee T "wow...now all I need is practice..." I think that all the time, even thought I play & practice for hours everday! lol. I've mentioned this before...I've been playing for a while, almost more than half my life (18 now, started playing when I was about 6), but I always have to impress myself when I play (I read in an interview that Yngwie was exactly the same.) I'm constantly pushing myself on guitar (dedication and inspiration goes a loooong way!) I just finished figuring out Paul Gilbert's 'BRO', that takes a TON of patience! I've probably played that at least 200 times in the past day and a half at various speeds, making sure I have it pretty clean and down. I can't wait to finally record my own songs and have everybody check them out, you'll be able to hear the Satch, Vai, Gilbert, Malmsteen, and countless others in my playing.

Suzo...I thought your hubba was the acoustic man...and that you primarily sang + pianoized...you play guitar/acoustic....too?

Guitarmeister...it's amazing how much one has to practice to make truely noticable progress, but if you love it....the time flies by too fast....

Rob310...very good....yourself?

johnw3....welcome.....enjoy!

SteveeT: I've not been to either venue.....I love GA shows but the Boston gig is seated & I have a feeling the lighting and sound will be superb!!! Take your pick...I'd choose both.

Michelle: I asked him if he was an AMerican Indian and he said YES. Ikuto could've answered me honestly or just answered me.....I would've talked to him about his Japanese heritage because I love the culture...I am "Satch Samurai" . It's been a huge interest of mine along with the American Inian culture....All I wanted was to "learn more about the people" . I understood completely by what Al was doing. I said "maybe it was me" didn't I?!! I've slammed and been slammed.... Let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone. I apologized by email to you & Traci and now I'll say I'm sorry to AL, and the entire WORLD. So now that you slammed me publicly, I guess you've made the world right huh? It doesn't help that he instigated, THAT was my point!! So yes everyone, I can be a real bitch when I have NO sleep & my period!! If it's so damn obvious then why not back off huh?! No, let's start shit with Mari!! have some fun till we totally pisss her off eh?!!.....Thanks for sharing that with everyone Michelle. I just wanted company, someone to talk to.... kinda pathetic I am if you ask me....that's gonna change.

I really do appreciate your insight Michelle. I should've just walked away. I don't go in there with any intention other than talking with "friends". Yes, there is an "in" crowd. Always will be one. And I won't be a part of it........ Nuff said.

Hello Mr. Sat, I wanted to say how it would be great if you could make it to my town of Altoona, Pa. We hosted a Bob Dylan concert at our minor league feild and had a great turn out, but have yet to have any concerts since. From what I undertand, before I was born, Altoona hosted a lot of great musicians. I hope Altoona can continue to hold concerts at our home town teams feild. I can't think of a better person to see there than you, maybe you could try to make this possible. I will travel anywhere to hear your music, but I would love if this could come true. Thank you Mr. Sat

hi joe, my name is michael im 19 and from australia, ive been playing guitar 4 7 yrs now and i just wanna say that you and jimi hendrix are my favourite guitarist, not because you guys are rated the best but because of the way yous play. Yous play with feel instead of trying 2 play 2 show off 2 every1 like 4 example the G3 Live in Denver when yas played little wing, steve and yngwie were playing all these fast runs and so on then you come in with a nice blues solo full of feeling nothin hard but it suited the song. Any ways i love ya playing and please come back 2 australia cause i missed ur concert here, keep on putting out albums. Michael

Michelle, Traci & AL: I was just wondering....I thought friends looked out for one another? If it's so damn obvious that I'm in a bad mood/having a bad day wouldn't a "friend" be extra kind or nice? I am that way to my patients and they are strangers.

Just to let you know I've been on the verge of crying all day and when I finally got home I haven't stopped.

Peace

DCK: Well my day has been shitt. I've been wanting to cry all day but I finally broke down when I got home. I've not stopped crying........Actually my day (Tuesday) wasn't terrible (just didn't sleep the night before & had my period) You all know the details anyway.......My day turned from bad to worse when I went into the chat.........story of my life. And I thought I was among friends....silly me. Live & Learn a BIG lesson. Ummm, So how has your day been?!! I'm sure it was better than mine DCK dude. I've now redefined several important aspects or definitions of life........ I'm learning new "Life Lessons" every day.....

Peace......

I've been to 6 or 7 Doors of the 21st Century shows over the last couple years - gotten to hang with the band a few times - Robby signed my Satriani backstage pass. Robby mentioned that you were a really nice guy - that's so kool that you're gonna hang backstage together. Tell him BillyD from the doors message board says HI... awesome man! later.
