OCPS470, precisely, and this allows you to keep the ones that are stylistically mor awkward in reserve, you you could throw in a short phrase of Bb Aeolian or Phrygian to add a certain vibe or tension, but use mainly Dorian, Pentatonic and Blues structures so it doesn't sound too contrived.

This is something that, I find, is very aparrent in Joe's style and Andy Timmons' style, and is sorely lacking in a lot of other players.

alter_ego_of_joe, just don't play for a day or so.....the nasty bits will die and dry up and actually come off (eeewwww gross!) and then get replaced with fresh fingertips!

Sorry, I can't help with any classical suggestions 'cause I don't know much about classical guitar that isn't flamenco!

Any chance of a UK tour that isn't G3??? A short set is just not enough ... please do a solo UK tour ... especially if the support is Eric Johnson ...

:-)

Thanks ...

One sketch had Ozzy grappling with the burglar when they broke in to his house. Ozzys screamin at him "At least take one of the dogs. Im sick of em shittin all over the place,"......

Hi all,

Been really busy lately. Wot a great wk end Ive had. Caught up with loads of people I ajnt seen in ages. My mates Lab4 had a good night at the Fridge/Brixton. Havent seen Adam and Lez since last summer as theyve been tourin all over the world. Had to leave to go work at Hidden/Vauxhall. Loads of old friends work there that used to work at Camden Palace (now Koko's) work at hidden.

Saturday night at Raindance SE1/London Brdge. My mates had the PA in there and I was setting up a PA in there. When I was packing up I sprained my right hand loadin one of the wedges back in the van. My feet are sore, my hand aches and my head hurts !! Party didnt finnish untill 1 oclock Sunday afternoon !

I crahed out and didnt move till 7 this mornin. My heads a bit delicate at the moment though. Thats what happens after a 16 hour party !! So much fun hee hee........

Love the samples of the new album, awesome as usual. Are there any other tour dates coming? Got to see G3 in Nashville and was wondering if another tour stop there was in the works. Any info on tour stops or apprearances near northern Alabama would be greatly appreciated.

"It's So Good" sounds like a great song to drive or walk to. It's got that "open air" groove to it, and it's a happy, relaxing kinda tune from what I can hear from the clip. Cool beans man!

Mari, it will be our second trip to see Mickey, but the kids first. We're going to FL for a week. Gotta take some Joe in my carry-on. Don't trust putting anything but clothes in a suitcase these days. lol!

As for the Motley Crue show - it was the best ever. Joe's show at the Beacon in '01 was the best in a different way, but this show...this show was with my daughter, and it was just so special. I had the DJ play the CRUE at our wedding reception in '87, then later when I had Erin I would bounce her on my knee and dance with her to their music. We have video of her sitting on her little chair in the livingroom in a diaper with the Wild Side video playing on MTV, and Erin pumping her fists over her head rocking out. I must have gave E about 50 hugs during the show. lol! I had tears in my eyes more than I can count. It was just so awesome.

The band was killer. Watching Nikki Sixx - good Lord Gad Almighty!! I'm head over heels in love. Dave is out. Nikki is in. lmao!! Mick was killer!! He didn't thrash around of course, but he walked around a bit and he was ON it! His licks were hot and he didn't skip a note. Vince started out singing everything, but later went to more audience participation, which was cool. His voice was good too. Tommy - well Tommy is his own damn band in itself. lol! At one point, he ran down the side of the floor to the back. My daughter reached out and touched him (she screamed about that all night). lol! He was hooked up to a harness and lifted up to two kits suspended from the celing right in front of us. To put it mildly, I went fuckin bananas! lol! He'd play one, then "fly" over to the other. He later got out his titty cam and had many, many girls flash for all the world to see. lol! Glad we were back a bit. lol! The show was fantastic, but for me, it was very emotional sharing the experience with my baby. ha! My 17 yr old baby. lol!

I saw Motley last summer - good show. I was bothered that there were some 10 year olds or so there (with parents doing pot), but the music was great.

Glad you could share it with your daughter - that rocks !!

FDA is urged to ban treated meat Carbon monoxide helps food look fresh longer, but safety debated

Picture two steaks on a grocer's shelf, each hermetically sealed in clear plastic wrap. One is bright pink, rimmed with a crescent of pearly white fat. The other is brown, its fat the color of a smoker's teeth.

Which do you reach for?

The meat industry knows the answer, which is why it has quietly begun to spike meat packages with carbon monoxide.

WEBMASTER: when I go to the Super Colossal page, "it's So Good" doesn't have any audio/video files loaded up to play. I'm using a windows PC with Aol, if that affects anything.
