JOE: What are the guitar settings, sounds, amps and effects for this upcoming new tour?
Are you planning to play old songs or the new material?
What do you prefer: Ear Monitors or Regular monitors (speaker)?
And lastly: Can you make a CD with all your ballads, something like: "Satriani's best Ballads".?....I'm sure all of your fans will love that.....best wishes...

I've never sent a message before but I'm also a guitarist of your realm albeit not as successful.I remember seeing you in Berkeley in 1980? with the Squares .I said to David Laflamme( It's a beautiful Day):Who is this guy?I've been a fan of yours ever since. You did what I wanted to do !And today I find out that the mom of one of my students(I teach guitar) used to work with your wife at the antiques shop in San Francisco! II love you and wish you eternal success. You are what the music world always needed.JACK

GTR miester - I have the Mesa Dual rectifier. I had used a solid state for years just because I wanted the stability. But, now that I have played through a tube amp (and I only use it for power) the warmth that it brought into my tone was amazing. Plus, the bass is much tighter. Anyway my $.02. Good luck with your search.

I forgot to post... both guitars are signed by Joe... the Chrome Boy is signed on the back 'plate' and the Crystal Planet is signed on the headstock.
Rock on!

Happily Married, if you're looking to sell both without making a loss then I wish you all the luck in the world......you'll always make a loss on a guitar unless it's something really special, like Jimi Hendrix's burned Strat or something...
Also, how come both guitars are in considerably better condition than when you bought them? What was wrong with them when you got them?
Conversion currently seems to have settled around the 1.8 US Dollars to the GB Pound.
Guitarmeister, you should try a Dual Rectifier......of the single, dual and triple, the Dual is the best in my opinion. But Boogies are sooo expensive, and I know you'd have an absolute blast with a JSX.
HrH Fish, "I was just giving you a different light to see things in"...yeah I appreciate that, but it's not necessarily fair to assume that I haven't considered modal theory in this light already! Having looked at it from different perspectives I've decided on the approach that I like best...

Satriella feeling :-(
Satriella feeling thoughtful
hence no posts....but here is something to make you smile...my son has actually put this on a few cars!
PARKING VIOLATION
VEHICLE REGISTRATION No.
AM
PM
DATE
This is not a ticket but if it were within my power you would have a dozen. In your Pig headed, inconsiderate, feeble attempt at parking, you have taken up enough room for a 10 mule team, 3 elephants, 1 ass and a safari of prostitutes from London. You have been given this so that in future you may think of someone else apart from yourself. Anyway I dislike domineering, egotistical or stupid drivers and you probably fit into all of these catagories.
I sign off wishing you an early major
break-down on a deserted motorway about 2-00 am.
May the fleas of a thousand dogs infest your armpits.
WITH COMPLIMENTS

Oh and even though I am feeling bad, my thoughts are not all with myself...I am thinking of you all...
Ken and Wanda - my thoughts are with you especially...hoping that your road to recovery is as short as possible. I am sure in the long run it will serve to make the bonds between you stronger than ever.
Take care and get well Wanda...give lots of TLC Ken
Hugs Satriella xx

You have a new fan in Manchester. Introduced to JS by 17 year old son - music is awesome your creativity astounds.
Am involved ina music academy aimed at getting young people into live music. I am the financial brains having helped them get arts council and lottery grant. Currently rolling our course for disadvantaged youth which involves introduction to guitar and drum.
You are extremely inspirational!

SteveeT - I've not tried the GT-6. The GT PRO did impress me.
looks very very powerful to me... brustling with great effects and features... sounds superb too..
over here it's £499.00
for the money it's a real serious value for money unit..
a pal of mine has a G-Force.. he says that you need a pre-amp of some sort with it.. he uses a Triaxis...
needless to say he makes some very nice noises..
lol.. I should point out too though that he's also an extremely nice player.. which helps too.. lmao...
if you want a serious rig for less than a grand... the GT PRO is going to take some beating...
ovation - and when Clarky is not in the office... he's in the studio practicing his little nads off.. lmao...
trying to prep for the tour...
I recently found out... we get 2 rehearsals.. then we tour..
so it's up to us to prep ourselves....
scary shit or what.. lmao..
just a couple of weeks to go now....
then we're touring...
can't wait...
