Keniko...what has really got me stumped is the guy on death row in CA, who had his execution stopped because he does'nt think its fair if the lethal injection causes him any pain. Now if I remember right, the guy kidnapped, tortured, raped and killed a 17 year old girl......umm...HELLO ??
Anyhow...it's all good right? lol...peace, SD
cube...I showed up late and missed everything...again. Shelley & Cheese have all the fun.

mthead101 Thanks for the input on the song. I'm still alittle mad that I was sloppy on the sweeping, which was the main part of the 1st solo that I hoped would come out realy good, wasn't bad enough to make me want to redo it. Thanks again, how'd you like the harmonies? The riff right after the 2nd solo is my favorite, sounds huge!
Stevee T Thanks for the input also. I actually went over the kids house to record one or two of my originals, but he was working on The Trooper and needed the guitar parts done, so I did that. That was the only song on that soundclick page I was on (luckily), all his other stuff is crap. I'll record my own originals once I my new computer comes in (I was going to just order a new soundcard, but why not a whole new hard drive!?) My own material will be a lot better than my work on The Trooper, just wait. I'll probably record some of my instrumental songs until I find a good singer or decide on doing the singing myself.
Marimarisrv What was the date on that Buckethead show again? I still haven't heard any of his stuff, but thinking of checking that show out since you said it'll be good. Hey, if Buckethead shared the cover of Guitar1 mag. a few months ago with Malmsteen, he's gotta be somewhat good. Does he do instrumental or what?

962 - Cheers, Simon. My chorus pedal is the Marshall SV1 and I'm pretty happy with the Leslie Speaker effect that you can recreate with it. I'll definately check out the valve orientated stompboxes though, thanks for the tip off.
Webmaster Jon - My computer is really old so I haven't seen the Podcasts but they are up to Episode 4 already? Was Episode 3 the one where Joe went bad and fought Steve Vai to see who would rule the Universe??!! Maybe I'm getting confused.....hee hee :)

***The Trooper - currently #17 out of...I don't even know how many, there are pages of songs by other people.***
Stevee T I can't wait until I can finally record my originals and have all the parts done and hear the final product. I have almost all my ideas down on a 4 track, and the newer ones are still fresh in my head, but I gotta put them on the 4 track before I forget them!

gottahavejoe......Hey ! ! ! I'm doing great. How are you? I'm lovin' the Podcasts also. This is awesome technology. Hugs
Speaking of Joe's Podcasts. I've subscribe to update Podcasts automatically. The problem is iTunes loads the previous ones in my Podcast Playlist. Is this normal? I really don't see a preference setting to solve this issue. The more Podcasts become available the more doubles I have to delete. Is there a work around? Let me know. Thanks

Hi guys... I'm about eight pages behind right now (I got sick and haven't felt like being on the computer much). I'll catch up later, but I wanted to take a moment to say that Redshift Riders is the coolest thing I've heard from Joe in several years. I absolutely LOVE it...

K, got this in an email, it's kinda funny...I might have been one of these people at some point, LOL......
DO YOU KNOW THE IDIOTS ...IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD:
I live in a semi-rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road.
The reason: "Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore."
From Kingman, KS.
IDIOTS IN FOOD SERVICE:
My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and ordered a taco. She asked the
person behind the counter for "minimal lettuce."
He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg.
IDIOT SIGHTING:
I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee
asked, "Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?
To which I replied, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?"
He smiled knowingly and nodded, "That's why we ask. "
IDIOT SIGHTING:
The stoplight on the corner buzzes when its safe to cross the street. I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She asked if I knew what the buzzer was for?
I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red.
Appalled, she responded, "What on earth are blind people doing driving?!"
She was a probation officer in Wichita, KS
IDIOT SPEAKING:
At a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker....She was leaving the company due to "downsizing."
Our manager commented cheerfully, "This is fun. We should do this more often."
Not another word was spoken.
We all just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare.
This was a bunch at Texas Instruments.
IDIOT SIGHTING:
I work with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself and for the sake of her own life, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on.
A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriffs office no less.
IDIOT SIGHTING:
When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the drivers side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked.
"Hey," I announced to the technician, "its open!"
His reply, "I know - I already got that side."
This was at the Ford dealership in Canton, Mississippi!
STAY ALERT!
They walk among us ...
and they VOTE and REPRODUCE

Hi Joe,
I've been wanting to do this for a while now!
My husband has been a huge fan of yours for so many years. He appreciates your music especially the instrumental. I knew about you before I met him but when he reintroduced me to you it was a whole new world. He's been to as many as your concerts as possible. He also attended all the G3 concerts in Vancouver or anywhere near here. He drove down to Seattle WA too.
This past summer he introduced your music to our kids. (Daughter 5, son 3) They seem to love it too. We were in Italy at the time and coincidentally enough we were driving past a small town called Satriani!! Did you know there was such a town? I wish I took a pic with the actual sign and the town.
My husband's Grandma (Nonna - in italian) lives 5-10 minutes from Satriani so we'd see it every time we drove down to the beach from her hometown.
This one day my husband puts your CD in and plays this song -"I Believe"- and sings it to the kids. They ask that he play it again, and again and soon they know all the words. It was so nice. He'd play it and they would all sing. Who'd of thought.
This was back in Aug of 2005. A couple of weeks ago (Feb 06) as we were driving along (of course we're back home in Vancouver now) my daughter tells me that she wants to hear that song from Italy. There was a lot of songs she heard there. Then she thought a while and said "that one that daddy sang to us...I beleive" It took me a while and then it clicked. So when we went home I told my husband and he called her over and played it. I asked her what it reminded her of and she said "It reminds me of Italy when we used to drive to the beach from Greatgrandma's (Bisnonna - in Italian) house." I thought that was so awesome!
I have a picture of this town Satriani and would love to send it to you. I won't send it unless you let me know you would like it. I will also let you know exactly where it is...if you don't know already.
I just wanted to share that with you.
PS When do you think you'll be playing in Vancouver, BC Canada again?? Or even Italy??
