God university is getting me down again...this semester is a bitch. The work load is like 4 times the amount of last semester.

here are my assignments

1. Model, texture and light an original 3D scene...create a video tour of this scene...edit the video, add credits, music etc...write a 3000 word report.

2. Make an original level for half-life 2 importing custom 3D models and textures. Write a 3000 word report.

3. Design an original level for 'Capture the Dude', write a 3000 word report.

4. Draw a portfolio of anime style characters, vehicles and other such shit we're being taught out of a book.

With 5 weeks left I'm overwhelmed to say the fucking least. Especially since the half-life assignment had the breif finalised this week, and the documentation for the capture the dude level was made clearTODAY.

Well I thought today was gonna be a nightmare...cancelling cards, getting a new driving lisence etc etc...but it's OK I found my purse...it was on the floor in the car...phew! I did look there last night...but it was dark and I was wearing shades (hmmm where av I heard that before?) and I was looking for a black purse with no lights...so what did you expect....anyway it was all clear, safe and sound this morning!

UKers...did anyone see Kings of Glam last night....fantastic!....good old noddy...and Dave Hill of course...luv im...T-rex, Elton John and of course Bowie...that was the best bit...I think I was meant to be a star in the glam rock days...I was just born too late!

962 - Morning to you....your probably writing your post as I speak...we seem to post at the same time :-) have a great weekend....I'm not sure it will top the last one..but you never know!

DelfinoPie - Wish I could help...your assignments sound like a nightmare...I'm glad this is the only assignment I have...well apart from work, kids, swimming, housework etc etc...anyway best you don't get the monopoly out for a while!

death cube K - Oh yes...I will definately give my review...I got both of the T2J CD's on order...can't wait to hear all of the talent that is on this site!

Guitarmeister - Wow...those are very meaningful deep words...what are they from? Did you post them in answer to me asking for lyrics...or is this just how you are feeling at the moment?

And as courage is my weakness I choose the cowards path. .....this line....is me all over!

mikesb - talking about words...thanks for the review...you certainly have a way with words...I was quite amazed!

punkdude75 - well I think you got me confused with someone else....I av looked back at my posts...and I can't see what you mean...apart from going to work...usually late cos I'm busy looking or writing on here! hehe...75 yep a good year...shame you were asleep through most of it hehe....you know I never got into The ramones....was there actually much of a punk scene (hahaha I just looked back at what I typed and I had put pink scene...puts a whole new meaning on it!...edit that) in the US...I thought it was mostly a UK thing? If you go on the link thingy below you can see a few photo's from my punk wedding!

http://community.webshots.com/user/Satriella

marimari - Thanks my friend....us women eh...why are we soooooooo emotional about everything...that's not in anyway a put down cos I know you have been through some really tough times....far tougher than my stuff...but whatever the situation we face it is tough at the time...Oh I wish I had a way with words...do yaz know what I am trying to get at? Anyway thanks for your words of encouragement...but as I said above the cowards path is mine...I avoid trouble at all costs! Trouble is it comes looking for us sometimes eh! I hope you get a bit of healing anyway...take care honey!

tulsachops, yeah that's the kiddie! It's a beauty, I will post my own photos soon, took some cool ones yesterday of it next to my SA1260.

Speaking of which, I raised the height of the bridge pickup (Norton) in my SA1260 yesterday - haven't been able to do it for ages 'cause one of the screws was completely work out - and it's even more mean than it was before. I'm in love, I tell ya! haha

p.s. "Ididn't oversleep this morning, I underwoke".....that kicks ass dude, I'll remember that!

Satriella, I dunno, it definitely doesn't seem like only yesterday to me! haha. I think the show got filmed but the tapes never got edited and produced 'cause loads of stuff went horribly wrong, mainly because loads of people stuck all their oars in......ego is a terrible thing, especially among rich, overpriveleged children. Ah well, I only vaguely remember that now, a whole lot has happened since then :-(

Also thanks, I think it's set to be pretty different to last weekend, but really busy, so I guess that's kinda cool. You have a great weekend too, glad you found your purse!

Yoda, I texted my vote for you dude! That will kick so many asses, so many times, if you get to play that festival!
thefirman, oooh The Forgotten (Part II) is a cracking choice, what a beautiful, epic tune! It's good to see these positive, promising updates on Wanda's progress. Kind regards to you both!
joe/webmaster jon, just out of idle curiosity, how come we have to wait an extra ten days for the new album? Did we do something wrong?! haha

my random satch-related thought of the day: it's strange, but one of my all-time favorite satriani solos is the one from 'champagne?' i'm not exactly sure what it is about it. it's very soulful. very uplifting, makes me quite happy when i hear it. basically just simple mixo and major pentatonic stuff, but the balance between the licks is amazing, and it just flows perfectly. i like the guitar tone, too. i like when the song begins, cause i spend the whole time looking forward to that ending. and i like the rest of the song, but in the back of my mind i am thinking, sweet, i know what's coming up: a bitchin' solo.

Yay...my guitar World Mag will be in on Tuesday! That's probably the same for all you UK'ers!

Well it is officially not a myth...dogs do like to go for postmen! I saw it with my own eyes this morning as my neighbours dog flew from his door growling, snarling and barking, ran down the steps to the path and bit the postie on the bum...poor bloke went limping off up the road..holding his rear end!....The dog is normally quite placid too!

Master Yoda - Just got a text saying "thank you for my Vote" so that's one more for you...hope it goes well m8!

Well I'm gonna finish Clark Gable, then I'm gonna draw a Lambo Murc....I dunno how you spell it...um it's a car...i will phenetically spell it...a lamborgeenie murcilago...it's my son's favourite car..apparently...then I may give BLUE MOON a go hehe...well I am running out of pictures OK!

Oh Oh....does anyone like Bill Bailey...he creases me up....was watching Part Troll again the other night....Argos....the tardis of toasters....the laminated book of dreams...laminated to catch the tears of joy...hahahahahahahahaahaha...the scale of evil...o...o...o I want one of those things he's got...I'm sure I could play one....even a talentless person like me could I am sure...it's a kind of thick ariel coming out of a keyboard I think...and you just put your hand next to it and it makes a noise...and depending on how close your hand is depends on what pitch it is...yay great fun...Bill plays it very well...and the guitar...and the keyboard...oh he just oozes talent!

hmmm there was something else I was dying to tell you lot now I forgot....oh this is not it...but thanks for all the jokes....they keep the office laughing!

Hugs Satriella xx

Hi Joe, My son and I are looking forward to your visit here in NJ in April at the Starland Ballroom, we are big fans. My son plays a mean guitar for a 15 year old and has a question for you, he has your JSX amp and likes it ver much, he noticed the lights that you have on the inside of the amp and was wondering who did those modifications for you, he likes the look and would like to put some lights in his amp. Thanks, Joe Conrad and his son Nick See you in April.
